Tuba:
~What's the range of a tuba?
Twenty yards if you've got a good arm!

~How many tuba players does it take to change a light bulb?
Three! One to hold the bulb and two to drink 'till the room spins.

~What's a tuba for?
1 1/2" by 3 1/2" unless you request "full cut."

Note: in the USA, a 2 x 4 is a two-inch by four-inch piece of wood, which actually measures 1 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.

~How do you fix a broken tuba?
With a tuba glue.

I saw a superhero cartoon (Static Shock) once with an incredibly unrealistic marching band, but then, everything about that episode was unrealistic. There's this giant green blob that the superhero has to fight, ok? Nothing new there. It's in the high school, then it bursts out onto the football field, where the band is practicing IN FULL UNIFORM! Yeah right . . . anyway, they, of course, all scream and run away, but one guy stops and throws his sousaphone at the blob. It flies like a missile (are you getting how unrealistic this show can be?) and hits the blob dead on. The blob absorbs it, and the sousaphone dissolves. Horrid, I know.

I liked that show, but just for that scene, I'd say that was my least favorite episode.

well i was back at a meeting w/ the school boar. lots of band members showed to show there support.
all we wanted was our band assistant back so we dont have chaos since its so damn impossible right now since our band director has to do everything our band assisant did last year which was all the fourms and legell so that our band director can well concentrate more on band.
when i heard that the chances of getting her was slim to none me and some others just bursted into tears so ummm i wont be back for a while just to sad
