Invocation of the Spirit of the Urban City
I open my heart to the spirit of the city,
(insert your city here)
You who embrace the mighty (insert major landmark),
I bring myself to you, city spirit,
I come now to your heart.
I hear your music,
The thunder of your river,
The stillness of your lakes.
I dive into the give-and-take of the city,
I make myself known.
I am (your name here),
I am a Witch in the city.
I knock upon your door and ask your admission,
Spirit of the city,
I work here, I live here.
Show me what can make me well;
I open my mind to your voice, that you may tell.
Spirit of the city of (your city),

A Sleep Protection Spell
I developed this spell after a seriously creepy mass of energy started haunting me. The first night was entirely instinctual, I just grabbed what I could and made up the spell as I went. Now I've fine tuned it and I must say, It's probably my most effective. Also, the energy (be it spirit, ghost, whatever) has dissappeared for the most part.

Find anything that symbolizes the Goddess (or the God/any other idol, i'm sure would probably work too, perhaps even a spirit of some love one who's passed on. Clutch the object(s) tightly in your hands chant something similar to this:
(Name of the one you're invoking. In this case I'll use the Goddess) Goddess great and wise and strong,
surround and protect me with your light.
And keep me safe from any horror that visits my bedside tonight.
(for me at least) A warm energy will seep from the objects up into your body. From there, breath it into the room, picturing it as a soft golden light, filling every corner and stopping anything from entering. Feel it fill you and relax you. Finish the spell with "So Mote It Be." Your body may have tensed up, and at this point, it will relax and the spell will be complete.

There can be a slight alteration on this spell if you wish to give it more power, but I do NOT suggest using this unless you're in grave need. When chanting, say:
(Name) great and wise and strong,
be with me and protect me with your light.

So Mote It Be.
From the objects, feel the energy flow and manifest, picture the one you're invoking clearly, and let their presence fill the room. After this, especially if working with a holy spirit (The God, The Goddess, or another, if you choose to invoke them) It is a good idea to leave an offering the next day, or even that night, which may help with drawing them forth. Again, Please do not use this unless it is COMPLETELY necessary. Don't want to irk the Gods!!!

This is a spell I'll use when things go wrong in life and I need help healing from them. ^_^

Spell For Healing Of Past Pains
Gather 3 black candles and place them in a triangular pattern around yourself.
Sit in the middle of them and have them all lit.
Burn 3 sticks of Dragon's Blood incense and place them beside the three candles.
Take a piece of paper and write everything that has happened in the past down and fold it up.
Get a white candle and light it, then light the folded piece of paper.
Say out loud:
Goddess I pray, take this pain away. Into the light, away from the dark.
God I pray, bury this pain. Cradle it in the eternal dark.
From the sun, to the moon. From the earth, to the stars.
From the fires, to the waters. Into the carefree wind.
Bring me into the light, away from the dark. Make me pure, make me free.
By the grace of the heavens. So mote it be.
Channel all negative energy that is left into the three black candles and let the positive energy from the white candle fill you up. Have the black candles burn all the way out and bury them at three points on your property in a triangle pattern.
Gather the ashes and set them in the middle of the triangle.
