Wolven-Dream perked her ears forward and heard her but she was still pretty far back. Something grazed her right ear and another slammed into her back paw. she ducked into the trees with Wanda and turned into a huge anaconda and laid waiting, coiled up in the shadows for the gaurds to come. slitted snake eyes watched the hole they ducked into. "Are you ok?" she hissed out, tilting her head to look at Wanda.

"I'm fine." Wanda nodded. "It was you they were trying to kill. Now here they come! I'll take the one on the far side from us, you take the one by us and I'll stay out of your way!" She crouched down next to the huge snake-form. When the guards came by, she stepped away from the anaconda, and the far guard fell to the ground silently holding his head in apparent agony. The nearer guard looked at his companion, giving a clear shot for Wolven-Dream to make her move.

Jr. looked back at his computer almost finished. he made a few ajustments and then looked around to make sure that he was still alone and to see if the girls were headed his way.

Wolven-Dream coiled her whole snake form around the gaurd and crunching was heard as she tightened around the gaurd. once they stopped moving she let it go and looked at Wanda to see if she needed help.

Wanda gagged tied up the guard she had felled with her telepathy and then, after the other guard was either secured or dead, they both circled back to the front gate and Izzy from another direction. The guards were calling from the parapets for their comrade and didn't see the girls as they made their stealthy way to the front gate and through with Izzy.
As they entered the Fortress, guards bustled toward the front gate to send a party out after their missing comrades. Wanda hid in the gate house as they came closer.

Jr. looked at the girls. 'okay. in my spare time...i was able to find a rough location of where the prisoners are held. i didnt get an exact location because you guys were so quick but i believe we need to go down.' he said quietly.

Wanda gasped, "There are more than one?" (yes, at least 2) "What is the fastest way down?" Wanda followed Izzy's lead down the nearest stairs, those in the gatehouse.

Wolven-Dream turned back into her human self, besides the ears, tail and wings which are there forever. She followed a bit slowly behind Wanda and Jr.

Wanda looks at Wolven-Dream quizzically. "Can I help? I have some healing power." If Wolven-Dream agrees to being healed, Wanda does so.
When all are ready, they proceed down the stairs of the gatehouse. At the bottom of the stairs, a gloomy corridor extends, lit only by occasional torches fitfully casting as many shadows as light spots. The trio carefully sneaks down the corridor...

Wolven-Dream had accepted the heal and followed carefully. The fur which covered her ears and tail stood on end and her wings puffed up making her appear larger. She was ready for another fight should one come. her fangs were bared and her wolven eyes out.

((Wanda used her power to heal her, not spells or skills other than the first "band-aid." She has two innate powers: teleporting and healing. I'm giving another day for ruri to get on if Jr wants to walk on the walls or ceiling in this corridor.)) As the girls proceeded, they heard rats and low distant voices. Wolven-Dream could hear men talking about nothing, gambling and strength and other tall tales in relaxation, far off. Direction was hard even for her to determine as sound echoed a bit off the walls that honeycombed the place.

((i'm sooo sorry i have been totaly slamed with my school exams, family feud, work overtime, and computer internet problems! *sigh* but here i go!))
Jr. does pull out his guns causiously and walks up to the celing when he hears the voices. he was still trying to get used to the fact that wolven-dream had fur, wings, and ears. but it was alright. this was going to be fun. Jr. whispers, 'perhaps we should listen at a few of the doors to see if we can find the location of your friend?'

Wanda nodded in agreement. As they approached each door, she motioned Wolven-Dream, with her obviously acute hearing, to listen. Wolven-Dream heard nothing at the first three doors, but the fourth door had someone breathing quietly within. It was calm breathing, perhaps even the breathing of someone asleep. At the very least it was someone who was quite calm. Wolven-Dream was sure there was only one being behind that door. Wanda shrugged when faced with the decision to open the door. Maybe it was the girl who was missing, or maybe it was someone else that would raise the alarm, or maybe it was just another prisoner.

Wolven-Dream being naturally curious, seemed intent to explore who was there. She changed into a feild mouse and squeezed under the door. With beaded black eyes she looked around the dimly lit chamber for who was breathing.
