Now, to contribute to this thread's actual topic. Evangeline McDowell from Negima! could easily defeat Alucard. Well, I can say she easily over powers him in all categories of being a vampire, but I believe she is trumped by him in sheer regeneration.

While Evangeline is almost certainly the more powerful of the two, I don't think she'd win.
Evangeline is incredibly powerful as a vampire, and in addition she is also a mage of nearly unrivaled power, she is a doll master who can use strings to physically control other people, and she has mastered a martial arts style that makes her small size irrelevant by using the other person's strength against them. She has survived over a millenia of being hunted, by a magical world that put a massive bounty on her head, none-the-less. When she became a vampire on the day of her tenth birthday, she killed the vampire who turned her.
However, most of the people she fought and killed were human (regardless of whether they possessed magical abilities). Alucard specializes in killing vampires.
I don't remember Alucard using close-ronge melee tactics much, rendering Eva's martial arts moot, and I doubt that her puppeteering would be entirely effective either. I don't think Eva should count on using her magic either because the only way that would work is if Alucard let her to see how powerful it was. Sure that Cosmic Catastrophe spell of hers would shatter Alucard into thousands of tiny little bits, but that would be a hollow victory, and since a mage is totally defenseless while casting their spells, that's the only time she would be able to do something like that. Final point: Alucard uses guns. The only character in Negima who uses guns is Tatsumiya Mana, and we haven't really seen Mana fight anyone while using guns, so there's no comparison for how Eva would fare against projectile weapons.
Also, Morioka Kouhei from Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase could erase Alucard, unless Alucard shot and killed Kouhei first.

Also, Morioka Kouhei from Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase could erase Alucard, unless Alucard shot and killed Kouhei first. I've really only read up till volume 7 but I think you're selling her short. She's, in my opinion, A combat mage rather then a traditional mage, so she's far from harmless while casting a spell. Also, we can assume she has dealt with guns before, but I doubt of the nature Alucard wields, and don't forget Negi used a gun in his intial fight with Eva-chan. And you don't seem to know as much about Alucard's fighting style. He sticks to long range tactics against pawns and enemies he knows can get in close very fast. But against opponents he sees as worthy foes, he always gets into close combat. I've yet to see any ways Alucard is stronger or faster then Evangeline, and since they both can teleport via shadows, melee combat is far from difficult. And you seem to be forgeting Chacamaru in all this. I believe that Chacamaru could hold Alucard at bay(the exception being a Level one Alucard) and would give Evangeline more then enough time to bring out her big guns. especially if Alucard gets nailed by a barrier shot from Chacamaru. Then it's a simple "End of the World" Ice spell and by Vs. thread definition, he loses.

Also, I just remembered: Lina Inverse would beat Alucard easily.
She has a spell that can reverse a target's regeneration so it becomes self - destructive and eats apart their own body.

I wasn't forgetting about Chachamaru, I just didn't think it'd be fair to go 2-on-1. And yeah, I don't know much about Alucard's fighting style. I only saw the anime once 1-2 years ago and haven't read the manga at all.

Ok I just thought of the perfect one. It's Kurei from flame of Recca. Not only is Kurei an amazingly powerful fighter, but he has the ability to time travel, which means he can just go and kill Alucard before Alucard gains his powers and is still a human.

Mr.Mxyzptlk Izayoi Kyoya RahXephon WILL beat Alucard. You can take the maybe out of your first post now. If you need me to, I can explain why. Also Dark Schneider, Burori, Son Goku, and Zeorymer. You're kidding with the DBZ characters? They outma6tch him in speed and at times match him on strength, but it trumps them on endurance, Healing, magic and intelligence. It's only a matter of time until he goes level one and either A) Devours them or B) Rips them to shreds.I only named a DBZ character, not character s. And I truly don't care how ENDURE you are... if you're not KNOWN for taking anything on the level of a galaxy buster, then you won't win against someone who can dish out GB. Simple as that.

I just ran across a power that seems almost designed to defeat Alucard. At the end of the manga in Flame of Recca, Recca revives Yanagi into a spirit of flame. This flame spirits power is to send out flames that make dead spirits absorbed by an enemy go to heaven, and also basically destroys evil spirits as it is composed of pure positive energy.

We can't prove ourselves right or the other wrong.

1. At least strong enough to survive a supersonic crash in a jet.
2. At least strong enough to break large asteroids, lift mountains, and break Onslaught's armor.
3. At least strong enough to overwhelm 3 multiversal goddesses.

DasUberGuy 1. At least strong enough to survive a supersonic crash in a jet. 2. At least strong enough to break large asteroids, lift mountains, and break Onslaught's armor. 3. At least strong enough to overwhelm 3 multiversal goddesses. And yet two of the 3 are claimed as limitless. You and I don't have the authority to claim their limits. So unless you suddenly now are the writer and publisher of Hellsing, the point on both sides is moot.
