Tanis_Everette Kira Yui I love the look Jetfire has in TF: Stormbringers. Looks like The clasics toy. Read Spotlight: Kup Dark stuff He should look like the classic toy, since Hasbro asked Don Figureoa to design the toy and he used the same design in Stormbringer so that it would get the toy some popularity before it came out. He did the same with the War Within Jetfire (that is after updating his original character design from his Macromasters fan comic)

Is anybody else going to be picking up the first issue of the Beast Wars Sourcebook? I flipped through a friend of mine's copy during lunch today and it brings all of the Beast Wars series together into a cohesive story, even the Transmetals that were't in the show are mentiond for the character if they had a TM figure, like for Airazor it says that she and Tigatron became Taransmetal after the destruction of Tigerhawk by finding a couple of blank Protoforms

Not only are all the Transmetals in it but so are the McDonald toys. Heck one even showed up in the first issue of The Accending.
I ordered it from Mycomicshop.com as my local comic shop didn't get it.

Yeah Transformers comics are still on sale somewhere around at most comic stores or online, especially the newer ones. I just love the fact that there is finally a sense of structure in IDW's Beast Wars. They place the events of Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo before Primal's Maximals and Megatron's Predacons even start the Beast Wars on prehistoric Earth and then return to Cybertron before Megatron starts the events of Beast Machines

I just got the 2nd issue of Beast Wars: The Asscending. Both the Beast Wars comics and the profile book got me interested in the Beast Wars yet again. I was disappointed that the profile books didn't picture the characters in every form they had like Blackarachnia and Cheetor to name two.

I was upset with that myself, but it's still a pretty cool book. I can't wait for the other two to come out either, Primal and Megatron'll probably get all of their forms in the source books more than likely. Cybershark and Airrazor were some others that weren't shown in both their normal and TM/TM2 forms. I did like that they are including every character from the Japanese Beast Wars series, the McDonald's beasts, and even the base beasts that Hasbro made when they were doing those mini Beast Wars battle sets though.

I have to say that I like the fact that IDW went back to the basics for Galvatron, where he is his own Transformer and didn't follow the trend of Megatron is remade into Galvatron at a later date in the series like all the other series have done before. It gives Galvatron a chance to shine on his own rather depending on the Megatron fanbase to make him popular. I was just sad to see that he killed Leadfoot in the Galvatron Spotlight, since he never really got a chance to develop as a character like most of the G2 bots that weren't repaints of G1

just some random bit of IDW Transformer info here. Optimus Prime doesn't carry the matrix within him. Makes you wonder how he became a Prime when Megatron dismembered Sentential Prime?

The matrix is not the only method to reformat a Transformer . . .

I'm going to buy all that. But after hearing that the sourcebook isn't complete, I hope that they plan to include those updates in future issues.
