I also refused braces for cosmetic reasons. I went through 5 years of having tons of dental work done to correct semi-serious problems like an underbite that affected how my teeth were growing in, but after all that my teeth were only slightly messed up and I didn't want to do 2 more years in braces just to fix something very minor and not even very noticible anyway.
Nobody has ever commented on it. *shrug* It's probably the thing about my body image I hate the least.
i tried refusing my braces since i didn't really need them the denist said how my over bite from me sucking my thumb till i was 8 had ******** up my teeth and they were giong to like fall out because they were going to grow in weird.. person that just sounds like he was on crack now that i think aobut it..
but anwyays i had the most RETARDED RETAINER EVER
it wasnt' even a retainer all it was was those clear thingies peeople get instead of braces and you stick them over your teeth, well everytime i wore them and i'd fall asleep i'd have ******** up dreams about them getting stuck on my teeth forever and my teeth disolving away inside my retainer
so i never wore it i mean sleep is more important that teeth to me, so now my teeth a just a WITTLE TWEENY WEENY bit crooked and my mom is goin get this metal wire glued onmy teeth.
stare i have no say it what happens to my body or life at this point
