Some people apparently believe Mormons have horns too. I bought myself a pair at the Renaissance Faire when I heard that one. I want Horns of the Demon for my avatar (for that reason and for an in-character reason) but I didn't realize they were so expensive. *weep*
i have a story about that one from a person in my ward.
okay, these missionaries were out knocking on doors and they got invited into this one woman's house. they asked her if she'd heard any stories about them and she said she had. she'd heard they had horns.
so one of them had an idea, and while his companion looked on in puzzlement, the first asked, "do you want to feel them?" (the horns)
she said yes and he permitted her to run her fingers through his hair.
he asked her, "do you feel them?"
she said no.
"okay," he said, "keep looking"
she kept looking.
"can you feel them yet?" he asked.
she said no.
then he asked one more question that sealed the deal.
"do you feel stupid?"
kind of embarrassed, she sat down and had the discussions and got baptized. weird huh! but hilarious!
