Jinx used the technique herself and dodge the attack. "That's better. You will need to work on it on your own, but you've used up enough of my time already." said Jinx as she disappeared. dEx tried to get a, "thank you" out before she left, but didn't quite manage it. dEx sighed as she looked around at the strange country. Then she suddenly realized that she was being watched.

((Perfect timing))

Was it... Drago? It had to be, she could pick up on his scent now that she wasn't concentrated on training. Apparantly, he had been watching her. Hopefully, it hadn't given him enough time to prepare an attack to try to killer. She knew that he would be on alert so before making any moves she called out to him. "Drago! Please let me speak to you. I don't want to fight until you've at least hear me out." called out dEx loudly enough for him to hear her even though he was a little ways away. Then she picked up another familiar scent. Yari had arrived, at least it was good to know that she wasn't alone.

dEx saw the look in his eyes and was a bit discouraged, but she decided that it was still worth a try since she was here. "I understand that you feel betrayed and I'm still not sure exactly what is going on, but please just listen to what I have to say. If you don't want to do it then I am willing to fight you in a fair fight. I know I would not have a chance, but you were the one who taught me about honor so I'll make sure the fight is one where we each do our best." said dEx. Then she took a second to think over her words. "My goal is to get the three of you to return to Konoha. Then I would like to get a meeting with the Hokage and discuss this situation further. I have a feeling this could all be worked out if we could get the right people together. If it doesn't work out, then of course I'd give you an opportunity to escape before you are hunted again." explained dEx as she looked hopefully at her old teacher.

dEx sighed as she watched Drago prepare for the fight. As she prepared to take her fighting stance she heard something rustling in the bushes behind her. Shadow turned towards the sound and began to growl loudly. "What? That isn't one of our allies." she said as she checked the air. "Watch your back Drago. It may be someone looking for a bounty. We'll have to postpone this fight for a moment." she said as she turned to look at the bushes behind her. Although, as she did this she kept her guard up against Drago just in case he might attack her.

dEx was disappointed as Drago left her, but she was a bit distracted by whoever was hiding out. Once he left she was surprised that the stranger didn't reveal themself to her. It was a shame that he didn't understand that she was willing to take care of this situation because she still thought of him as a friend. "Come on out and show yourself, you coward." said dEx with a growl as she took a step closer to the bushes to try to get a look at who was there. She checked the air again and she was certain that Yari had quite gotten to her yet, even though he was close.

"Hey Kumo!" she called out. Then dEx caught the glimpse of something moving in the bush. "That headband, are you from the Hidden Haze? What kind of weapon is that?" she asked as she took another step closer. If this person had been after Drago why were they still here? There was a loud popping sound, like a small explosion and dEx suddenly staggered backwards as she felt something small slam into her. Then she fell over and laid motionless flat on her back as a pool of blood began to form on the ground around her. Shadow turned to watch dEx fall and he growled louder as he turned back to the bushes. His blue eyes were full of an icy fire as he lunged at the bush. There was another pop and Shadow let out a loud yelp as he was thrown back by the force of the chakra infused bullet. He hit the ground and slid a good ways before stopping. Shadow whined as loudly as he could to try to get the attention of Kumo and Yari before he also fell silent.

After Kumo treated her dEx began to stir. She opened her eyes to see Kumo treating Shadow. Then she tried to move, but couldn't from the pain. The chakra infused in the bullet had caused wide spread damage to her internal organs. "Look after Shadow for me." she said just loud enough for Kumo to hear her. "Be wary of the Hidden Haze, they have strange weapons..." she barely managed to say before trailing off. Her breathing grew shallow and she was perfectly still as she took one final breath and tried to thank Kumo for his help. Shadow began to move slightly after Kumo treated him despite the pain. When he saw dEx stop breathing he put his head down and whined. It seemed his injuries were worse than they appeared and it also seemed he had somewhat given up when dEx died. Shadow soon closed his eyes and his breathing ceased.
