Agression - Salty Leather [Punk]The Streets - Stay Positive [Brittish Rap]Voltaire - When You're Evil [Goth]a** Ponys - Grim [Punk]Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays [Uh, something else]The Smiths - What Difference Does it Make? [Goth]Violent Femmes - Confessions [Punk]Zebrahead - Type A [Punk]The Raveonettes - Do You Believe Her? [Punk]Pretty Girls Make Graves - All Medicated Geniuses [Punk]That wasn't so hard wink

Keithing In the end, I revert to music associated with childhood memories. Meaning musicals and 80's, like Supertramp, West Side Story, and Miss Saigon. "Everything free in America/For a small fee in America!" The 80's rocked 3nodding So did the 60's, 70's, and 90's.. Not so sure about the 00's neutral Hopefully the music'll get better by the end of the decade..

Something tells me the likes of Fred Astaire ("Puttin' On the Ritz"), Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday ("Strange Fruit") wouldn't be too happy to be forgotten. I'm still holding on to hope that the music this decade improves too. There's just too much music that's become so repetitive and tired, though there are a few bands and musicians I'll look back fondly on.

After a while, it's surprising what becomes 'good'. When it came out, I hated 'Brass Monkey' but now it's okay. And 'Baby Got Back' Hahahahaha....maybe someday your tastes will change, and then you'll look back fondly on the 00's music.

Music is music for how passionate you are about it... But I dont do country... Heh... Never have and never will. Sorry :3

Never have and never will. Sorry :3 If anything kids up here should be hating it more than you do. It's a mandatory element of social dance (that's right kids, our parents paid the public school board for this), we have an annual 10-day splurge of all things "Western," there's more Western-themed bars than gay ones, and there's always bound to be one or two people donning their stetsons. We host the Canadian Country Music Awards for crying out loud! And there's always a new generation learning the Electric Slide, Watermelon Crawl, grapevining like nobody's business. I don't know how we survive.

I can rave too, kinda... depends on the song and style. I sucked hard at jive, then again I'm not very strong with giving directions to other people. I went to Cowboys. Straight bars scare me. There were girls in those ugly giant hankerchiefs that they pass off as tie-on shirts in cowboy hats at every basin of ice and beer. There was an actual hardwood dance floor with boot scuffing. Men were playing pool and not grinding against each other. Women were drunk by 7 pm. The only moving men did was lift their arms or nod their heads. Unless Matthew Good goes back there, I'm not setting foot inside again.

Ain't nothing wrong with a good western bar. Have some pudding with some gay cowboys. May be a cow town, but I like to play with the bulls.
Okay, that was my random two cents.

I'd agree if there were more gay cowboys. Unfortunately, most of the men either were trying to pick up girls, oggling at the women serving them beer, or drooling at some other chick. Even the manwhores there were more interested in the ugly drunks* (the ones that were floored by 7). The gay cowboys tend to like the Eagle, the local fetish/bear bar. *By "ugly drunks," I mean they were loud, obnoxious, and did this hand dancing/flailing thing. They were desperate, he was desperate, I was desperate for them to get out of the way since they pushed in front of me. His helmet of mousse and their "dancing" were covering 3/4 of the view. Asshats, everywhere.

So....asshats are a bad thing? I thought 'I could wear his a** for a hat' was a compliment...
Anyway I knew some nice gay cowboys. It was a fun time out.
