No one was responding to her calls, maybe the two were playing hide and seek with each other? Of course! That's what they must be doing, why else would Paestri not answer back? She would have to tell Kimiko about her deduction. She sped back downstairs into the hallway and soon found Kimiko.
"I think they're playing hide and seek. I mean why else would we not have found them by now?"
Paestri's mouth curcled into an "o" of awe at the large closet. It was nearly half as big as her room! She grinned and leapt onto a large pile of squishy (but silent) plushies and giggled in delight. From the corner of her eye she saw Mayu gnawing on a cushion and laughed, that was the earliest memory she had of the silver-haired Legend.
Scanning the rest of the closet she spied several coats and robes and jackets. Apparently whoever used this last kept it only as storage and not as a real closet. Most of the clothes ended far too high up for Paestri to reach, but there were several ones that nearly touched the floor. She turned to Mayu and chuckled before padding over to a pink robe trimmed with poofy things. She clutched it tightly and yanked with her full weight to get it off its hanger.
The robe fell onto Paestri, covering her entirely in its terrycloth embrace.

Kimiko nodded in agreement to Huni's theory, it sounded logical enough.
"Mayu loves to play hide and seek with Verdi, it usually takes me hours to find them." The teenage girl sighed, shaking her head. "Maybe if we yell 'ollie, ollie, oxen free' they'll come out?" She suggested, half-jokingly. Kimi knew it was not the time to be cracking jokes, but she felt that she needed to lighten the mood somehow.
This cushion had a strange texture, not a bad one, but unlike the soft pillows in the large room of the HQ or at home. Mayu gnawed upon the corner for a few more moments, then dragged the pillow behind her as she crawled over to Paestri. The soggy corner fell limply, and she abandoned the squishy thing as she went over to examine the plushies. There were plenty more pillows around the room, she would have a great variety to pick from later.
Watching her friend crawl over to the pieces of clothing which were hung from the walls, Mayu cooed. The pink robe which Paestri had stopped at was a nice one indeed, and the silver-haired girl clapped at the nice choice which the other had made.
She laughed as the robe fell, but toddled over to see if Paestri was alright.

"Ollie, ollie what?" Huni quirks a brow in confusion, apparently there were varying ways hide and seek was played. Naturally she had taught the rules that she learned from Addy and that version did not involve shouting out that phrase. What did it mean?
"I don't know if Paestri will respond, but maybe Mayu will. Let's give it a shot?"
Paestri was, of course, struggling to lift the robe off her person. It wasn't heavy per se, but it was larger than Paestri.
"Heeeelp..." her muffled whimper came from beneath the garment.

"You yell it when you give up searching," Kimiko explained, and nodded. "Sure, let's try it.'
Cupping her hands into a megaphone shape, the black-haired girl yelled, "OLLIE OLLIE OXEN FREE!" Standing back, she waited for a response.
"Ahm commin!" Mayu grasped the folds of the frilly pink thing with small hands, and joined the efforts to try and get the robe off of Paestri. She struggled, but finally managed to push aside an opening for the other girl to crawl through.
"You okay?" She asked, giving Paestri's hand a pat. The yell Kimiko gave echoed around the halls, but the large closet seemed to act as a soundproof barrier. It sounded like a whisper to Mayu, and she supposed that someone was playing a yelling game outside.

Huni nodded in understanding, and waited for a response to Kimi's yell. Minutes passed and there came not a peep, it was only natural for the red-head to start worrying.
"You don't think there's something about the house, do you?"
Air! Finally! Paestri gasped in relief as the robe finally released her, with help from Mayu naturally. Paestri never even noticed the yell, after all she was underneath the robe and was a little preoccupied at the time.
"Ya, m fine..." she nods, "Wat yu wanna weal?" she asked, gesturing to the rest of the clothes hanging. Paestri already knew what she was going to pretend to be in the robe. A famous celebrity like the ones her mama read about in those magazines.

"Like... like what?" Kimiko asked nervously. She could get rather panicky when she was worried, and she was quietly chewing on her nails as she pondered the possible places the two girls cound be and who might be with them. She shuddered.
Mayu took a look at the hanging jackets and things upon the walls and thought for a moment. Trodding over to a brown trench coat, she tugged it down and tumbled out of the way before it fell with a clatter.
Pulling the too-long sleeves over her arms, the Legend flopped. "Shrlock Holm!" she exclaimed, and wondered if there was a deerstalker hat nearby to complement this coat.

"Maybe the house is like, alive or something. There are places in Gaia that does the strangest things, like you find yourself guardian to a new baby or something... Maybe the HQ is borrowing our kids? I don't think it'll take them back, after all we didn't find them here..." Huni mused, at least she hoped the last part was correct. She could be wrong.
"Sh'lo Holm?" Paestri echoed, her head canting to the side. "Hu dat?" she asks out of curiosity. Mayu certainly knew a lot of things! Is she older than Paestri? If she was then that would explain why Mayu was so smart!

Kimiko nodded in mock understanding, though she herself had never heard of a living house. Of course, she knew of Gaia's many strange wonders and knew she was bound to turn one up eventually.
"No, I don't think so." Kimiko mused, the building wasn't that big, where would the kids have gone? They had done a thorough search of the building... hadn't they?
Nodding, Mayu pondered a way to describe the great detective.
"Umm... He a 'tectiv!" She answered, though she wasn't quite sure what they really were herself. The only reason she had even known about Sherlock Holmes was from a picture book Kimiko had read to her one night. All she really knew was that detectives had a brown coat, goofy hat, and a pipe.
"Yuu?" She inquired, pointing a floppy sleeve at Paestri's robe. She was curious to know who she was acting as.

"Tektib..." The dark skinned Legend echoed, noting to ask her mama or Leenee what a tektib was when they get back home.
Paestri twirled (well, twirled as best as she could given the length of the robe) and struck a pose similar to those women in the magazines Huni read. "Imma Supl Modl!" She declared, thinking that Super Model was a name, rather than a title.
"You're probably right, they could be hiding under the beds or behind some of the furnitures in the rooms. Maybe we'll have to look again?" Huni suggested, scratching the back of her neck.

"Supl modl?" Mayu asked, curious. She had heard the term being used on television before but had not actually got to see what these "supl modl"'s were. She clapped at Paestri's movements however, they looked so intriguing! Mimicking her to the best of ability, Mayu attempted a twirl -- and landed on her rump.
Kimiko nodded. "Yeah. Change posts this time?" She asked, walking towards the stairwell.

Paestri giggled as her friend tried to mimic her movements. She extended her hand to help Mayu up. Now that they knew who each other were, it was time they had an adventure as a Tektib and a Supl Modl! It was only right, after all.
She started towards the closet's door and saw it was... closed? When did that happen?
"Sure, we might find something the other missed." Huni couldn't help but still feel uneasy about the house. Her theory still seemed very plausible to her.

"Fank oo!" Mayu said happily, taking Paestri's hand. Now it was adventure time! Following after Paestri, she toddled -- though it was hard, as the back of the coat dragged over the floor and was easy to step on and trip onself -- over to the closet door as well, and gazed up at the closed door.
"Uh oh?" She said, remembering the trouble they had before getting the door open from the outside.
Kimi nodded, then traipsed off towards the staircase. She was rather worried, though suppressed it for the moment; she had two babies to find in very little time, and she didn't want fear and worry distracting her from her duty.

Paestri attempted at pushing the door, after all they had to pull it open from the outside. But now that it was shut, would they be able to open it from inside? Maybe there was an umbrella here?
Huni paced down the long hallway before choosing to enter the first door to her right. It was empty, nothing seemed out of place. Maybe the next room would have clues?

Mayu looked up, noting that there was a similar knob to the one they had to pull at outside, also high up. Maybe... maybe they could use a clothes hanger? It had a hook which was similar to the hook that was attatched to the umbrella's bottom, so maybe it could work...
"Hanger?" she suggested, pointing at one of the coats that was still hanging from the racks.
Kimi began to search through the rooms on the second floor, finding no trace of two little toddlers. She looked down the long hallway and groaned in disbelief, who knew the Legends HQ was so big on the inside? There was too much ground to cover on a short time, she would have to find some way to speed up her search without missing important details completely.

Paestri hadn't thought of a hanger, her initial idea was to loop one of the long coat's sleeves around the knob. But Mayu's idea made much more sense (and a lot less work)! She quickly found the discarded hanger previously holding the pink robe and handed it to Mayu. There were plenty of shoeboxes in the closet too! Maybe if they piled enough of them up, they could climb on top of them?
By this time, Huni had gone through at least three other rooms. Finally she noticed there was somethigng amiss in this one. The bed was messy, and there was a box of sorts in front of the closet. That was... just odd.
"Kimi!!!" Huni yelled, ducking her head back out of the door. Her voice echoed throughout the hallway, and hopefully up the stairs.
