Akira slowly started calming down, breath after breath, his heart slowing down. Someone there holding him was enough; it reassured him that he wasn't alone, and that the things he saw were simply in his mind.
Still, he felt as if the visions would return if he opened his eyes, moved them from their resting place. He could still feel the coldness and emptiness he felt in the bathroom. The feeling of helplesness when he stared into his mother's eyes.
His ears twitched at the last thing Aerin said. The ACR. The place where he'll grow, and his fears of coming out wrong returned. His grip on the nurse didn't tighten, but it did loosen a fraction.
"I won't come out wrong, will I? I'll still be me, right? Everyone will still be here when I come out?"

Aerin eased visibly as Akira relaxed. He did wince when Akira's grip retightened, and Aerin made soothing sounds again. "Of course not. Clerise went in fine and came out fine, her modifications were from something else. Cerceris recently went in too. I've gone in myself, albeit for simply a moment or two to age a day or two."
He leaned down and rubbed his nose against Akira's, grinning. "Quit worrying, silly one. The only thing you're scheduled to have added on is a set of dragon wings, a gift from a staff member." Aerin stood up, and tugged lightly upwards on Akira's hands. "Come on, silly dear! It's only a few feet away, and it'll be like a great big nap!"

Aerin's cheeriness got the better of Akira, and he indeed did stop worrying, slightly.
He followed him, wiping his eyes with his sleeve. The fact that he was getting a set of dragon wings didn't sink in. And probably wouldn't until he was in there.
"I like naps..." He mumbled, with what looked like his usual smile.

Aerin grinned. "That's the way to think, sweetie. Now...just this way..." Aerin gestured at a wall that melted away to reveal a basic room, with a very inviting looking bed. "Just go lay down there hon, and all will be well."

Akira nodded, and stepped up to the opening in the wall, it felt inviting. His ears twitched, and he looked back at Aerin, smiling sweetly again, before poking his head in, and finally stepping up to the bed.
He gave it an experimental poke, before crawling up onto it, and laying down, his tail squirming and wagging, before it rested on his leg.
He glanced around, almost excited to know what would become of him. The notion was nerve-wrecking, but once he was there, it was all exciting for him. He tilted his head back enough so he could take one last look at Aerin, and waved.

Aerin smiled, and had the door shut on Akira, and as it melted closed to leave Akira in a comfortably dim atmosphere, an invisible gas leaked in, and soothed him to sleep.
Aerin wrote a number on the metal with his finger, the wall melting under his finger. It read 48/00/00, and it began a countdown from two days, moving every five minutes.

Akira smiled, and shifted, looking up at the ceiling. He could feel his eyelids get heavier and heavier. His breathing become more relaxed, he felt his body lighten, floating, almost.
Then sweet surrender was his, and he drifted off into slumber. The fightful visions of blood and death, whisking away as happier memories breezed through his mind. The day he met Lineslieth, and the trip up the elevator. The dara's playful tugs of the boy's tail.
His first encounter with Hiro, oh how they giggled and smiled. His mother's cookies. He felt the weightlessness consume him competely, and he fell into a deeper sleep. Deeper and deeper, the images fading from his mind's eye.
His last thought was of the Dragon-man who seemed to be his knight. A smile came to the boy's face.
Now he would grow, and soon he would understand what it was he felt for his friend...

 [New RP]
Hiro was still amazed that he'd heard someone else telling him something. Inside his head. He knew that his Feed could do things like that, it was just they never had. It took him moments to leave the dorm room again --it seemed like he was spending less time in his room, and more time looking for things, places, or people. At first, he'd looked around to see if someone was playing a trick on him. When he'd realized it was real, he set off down the hall. Thanks to whatever had just spoken to him. He knew the way there, though that didn't stop him from taking his time, doing small loops in the middle of the hallway. He loved flying way too much.
About halfway there, he suddenly stopped. Infirmary... That was like a hospital, right? Hospitals meant doctors. Creepy doctors. They weren't very nice, at least the one he'd gone to. That lady had been really mean, and she'd refused to give him any candy. Something about it being bad for him or something. And the things she made him sit on were all cold. She had also refused to allow him to fly around the office. She'd threatened to tie him down, and though it'd never happened before, he didn't trust her enough to give her the chance.
He took a few extra turns, just to slow his trip some more. After a few minutes, he was outside the door. He took a deep breath. This couldn't be as bad as the doctor's office. It wasn't like they were going to give him all these shots. He floated outside for a couple seconds, unsure of what to do. When he was finally ready, he took a very deep breath and opened the door. He burst in, smiling again.
"Hello!"
Maybe he shouldn't be yelling? Oh well, too late now.

[ aerin pov ] Aerin jumped a few inches, eeping quietly. "Ack! Don't yell. It echos!" He laughs, and comes to greet the bee boy. "Are you Hiro?~" he asks, grinning, and offering a hand to the hyperactive child.

Hiro listened for a moment, trying to hear his own echo. There was the faint sound, but it was only Aerin's voice. He cupped his hands over his mouth, then put them back down again. His mouth whispered, "Sorry."
He let out a sigh. It was smaller than the deep sigh he'd taken when he'd come in, but still loud enough to be heard. This person wasn't mean at all. In fact, he was almost the opposite of the other, mean doctor. If he had a choice, he'd come here instead of the smelly hospital, anyday. He nodded vigorously, still a few feet above the ground. He took Aerin's hand with a large smile.

Aerin laughed again, "you can speak normally, silly! Not like you're in a library!~" tugging him along, aerin opened the door to the ACR. "Time for a nap, little man." he said, and poked Hiro's belly.

Hiro laughed and scratched the back of his head. "I just didn't want to yell again. I do that a whooooole lot." Aerin didn't have to pull very hard, because the wind offered a lot less friction than the ground. Hiro was actually more like a balloon at the moment, his wings fluttering only a little. "Is it going to hurt a lot?" He wasn't very concerned, that was obvious by his tone. He giggled when the other altered human poked him. He was extremely ticklish. "Then one more question, and I'm done." He smiled. "What's your name?"

Aerin laughed. "Of course not. You're sleep for the whole two days you're in there."
Aerin tugged him into the room lightly, "well mister balloon, my name is Aerin. You can ask me more once you wake up (though, when you do, you'll be in your room again but you can come find me. I'm always here!)"
Aerin slid out, and programmed the grow for two days. He grinned. This place needed more bright kids.

Hiro flew in quickly. He had to make sure that he was resting comfortably -in other words, that he wasn't squashing his wings- and also had to make sure he did it fast. He just made it, though. Moments after he stopped moving around, he started to feel really tired. There were a lot of things he thought about, which ranged from how Akira was doing to how tall he was going to get.
Two days sleeping? That seemed like a long time. He wondered if he'd have any good dreams. He still wanted to know how he'd managed to get himself into a girl's dorm room, and where RA was. That's where Clerise had said he was, anyway. Akira must be doing something, too. Maybe he already got his wings! He could teach him how to fly after he woke up. And classes, they'd start soon, too. He hoped he wouldn't miss any, though he didn't think it was that big of a deal. And what if- what if-
His eyes shut quietly, before he could finish his thinking. He went limp. His wings gave one last twitch before he completely fell into the darkness that was a peaceful sleep.

(( New RP ))Astrid paused inside the infirmary, not exactly sure where to look for Aerin. The place sure seemed to be his, though -- there were objects and other random things scattered around that looked like Aerin would own them. A few suspiciously pink trinkets, some of which sparkled. Astrid put a hand to her head, trying not to either let the pink things kill her, or suddenly become possessed by the need to take them. They were shiny, after all. Sneaking in a bit further, Astrid whispered loudly, "Aerin? Are you in here?"
