As Hikaru noticed Alex striding through the crowd toward her, she snapped out of her embarrassment for the time being. The boys that had previously been staring at her were now laughing at Alex for some reason, which caused dual feelings of relief and irritation in Hikaru. Stepping forward, she yelled out loudly toward the crowd.

"HEY! Don't laugh at my friend! You guys better get out of here right now, or I'm gonna beat you all up!"

She flexed her right arm, placing her left hand on top of the muscle and glaring at the guys, trying to sound and look as intimidating as possible. This only invited more wolf-whistles, and Hikaru's face grew redder and redder with each passing remark.

"Woo! She's a real hottie, huh?"

"You can beat me up anytime, little girl!"

"Hey, check out the cutie in the wet jersey!"

Hikaru, seemingly unable to counter this in any way, simply dropped her head. She clenched her fists tightly at her sides as her shoulders began to shake in anger.

"You stole that? Heh, awesome. Way to stick it to 'em. I mean, they gotta make a living, but ripping off kids just isn't the way to do it." Terry started inspecting the renegade elephant. "There used to be some Romany who would stop by our place when they traveled through. They were always real nice to dad and me. They always called him a drabarni and me little drabarni." Terry smiled. "They would run carnivales like this during the summers, but would never try to rip off kids. In fact, they'd probably try to turn the tables and rip off the person ripping you off...or something like that." I'm raaAambling Terry thought. "So yeah, heh, cool." He gives her a cheesy thumbs up that would have looked better coming from Tek.

Terry looks up and away from the stuffed elephant when the boys start whistling at Hiko. He's about to say something when he sees Alex stare them down, and a great rush of pride swells his chest. Way to go, he says to himself. Terry is about to say something to the boys when they start taunting Alex, but Hiko cuts him off: "HEY! Don't laugh at my friend! You guys better get out of here right now, or I'm gonna beat you all up!"

Terry moves next to Hiko when the boys start teasing her now, pulling himself up to his full height (tall for a 14 year old, but still not as tall as the bullies), "Yeah, leave 'em alone asshats!"

"Ooooh, we better get outa here, 'fore her boyfriend comes and beats us up fellas." The obvious leader of the bullie pack says, making wiggling gestures with his fingers before walking away with the rest of his goons.

Tomoro grimaced; it reminded her of her past, of what boys often did to her. She closed her eyes, and brought her fingers up to her mouth. Then, with a sudden motion, she wiffed them in the air, and a root came out of nowhere, tripping the main bully. He turned around suddenly, glaring.

"D'you just do that?"

"What a b***h!"

"We ought to teach you, you ugly a** pirate."

Tomoro's eyes widened, and she looked in disgust as one of them came near her, pulling on her hair. As if commanded by strings, she brought out her pistol, and pointed it at the guy's head. "Excuse me... what did you just call me...?" That was the last straw. Just when she had found friends to hang out with, some d**k had to come and ruin what she had been looking for. "I'm so tempted to pull this trigger..." she said angrily, putting one hand on her hip, her maroon nail polish flashing in the sun. The boys immediately backed up, and flipped her off, walking away.

Tomoro closed her eyes for a moment, and slipped her gun back into her pouch, sighing lightly. Thank God too many people value their lives lately... otherwise, I would have gone on a killing spree... and I might have gotten Maramu all dirty... Swiveling back around, Tomoro pushed a few strands of hair back, and smiled lightly. "Uh... sorry about that." Noticing Kimmy's kitten plush, she smiled widely. "That's so cute! I love it!"

"Woah! Hey there!" Terry said, waving his hands in front of his chest and speaking to Tomoro. "Uhh, there was ahh...woah...no need for violence right?" He scratched the back of his head, eyeing Tomoro carefully. No fights, please no more fights... "Hey look, they're gone. Games? Games sound like a good idea huh? Yeah, so uhh lets go play some games huh?"

"...Games. I want to play more games." Tomoro nodded slowly, and then noticed a strange girl with green hair. She was... how could she put it.... gifted in 'THAT' area, and there was a sabertooth tiger next to her. He looked like he wanted to eat some fish.... Now THAT looks interesting...

Tomoro sighed, and turned to her new group. "You guys, I'll be back in a bit. Go ahead and go have fun with some games... I'll catch up with you guys later." She nodded quickly, turning around and beginning to walk up to the neko gazing at the fish.

She handed the worker in charge of the fish a five dollar bill, and began fishing right behind Joy and Giddy. After a few failed attempts, she finally caught a blue-green goldfish, and smiled, nodding to the worker holding it out in a plastic bag. Tomoro motioned her hand toward the girl, and cocked her head to the side, forcing a smile. "Here... you... can have my fish..."

Darius smiled as Liz wrapped around him for a moment. Then she went off and began to walk with Darius and Lily following in quick pursuit.

"Well, I've decided that you two have been awfully glum lately and I've taken it upon myself to cheer you up."

This was true....it had been a rough last few days for Darius and Lily, still the fact that Liz was trying to cheer him up made him so happy that she cared that much.

"But don't worry there are re-enforcements on the way."

Darius blinked at this and looked at Lily, rather puzzled, "Re-enforcments?"

Tomoro was taken aback; five bucks to feed to a supersized sabertooth!? It was insane. She looked at the cat girl, head to toe, and brought out her hand as if to pet her, then pulling back. She gripped Maramu tightly, her knuckles popping slightly; how old WAS this girl... cat... thing? She looked about 9 or 10, but who knew? There was no way to tell.

Standing up straight, Tomoro grabbed Joy by the hand, and pulled her up. "Yeah, let's go play..." Is she lost? Does she have someone to take care of her...? The man working the fish booth looked at both girls strangely; here was a green haired neko girl feeding fish to sabertooth tigers, and another with an eyepatch, attempting to drag her off. Unfortunately, she was failing miserably.

"What do you want to do?" Tomoro looked around for a bit, switching her gaze to the many booths standing around. "We could... play some games, go and get something to eat... go into the rides area... anything you want, Joy! Oh, and you can call me Tomoro." She bowed, her silver grey hair tumbling out of nowhere over her shoulders, and onto Giddy's head. Quickly, she moved back a bit, hesitant. People didn't scare her, nor did large animals... and Giddy looked pretty tame... but she couldn't be too sure.
