Rooker
Name: Raj Udongo
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Karmic Alignment: -2
Rank: [LB]-5 (April.13.2007)
Tribe/Nation: Earth Kingdom
General Description:
Eye Colour~ Green, changes with his mood according to some
Hair Colour~ Brown, braided, falls just below shoulder blades.
Skin Colour~ Tan, calloused (sp?) palms and soles of feet, scars due to various accidents.
Clothing~ Top: Green shirt, mid-forearm length, hemmed at sleeves, collar and bottom. Bottom of shirt three inches below waist. Shackles at wrists with chains broken down to four links. Orange band around head, green band holding braid.
Bottom: Brown pants, colored pockets used for weight training, pant length just above ankles. Shackles with one chain link around ankles. Plain grey peasant's shoes. Red sash around his waist underneath shirt.

History/Bio: Raj was born into slavery with his mother and two elder sisters in a rogue faction of the Fire Nation. A cult founded by loyalists to Fire Lord Ozai despite his defeat at the hands of Avatar Aang. It had apparently started out as a vain hope to possibly revive Ozai's ideals or, if ever possible, Fire Lord Ozai himself. Only his oldest sister and mother knew their father, an earth bender killed to protect the family from the slavers. When Raj was six, he was put to work doing random tasks for his master, varying dependent on the need at the time and his strength to do it. His discovery as an earth bender was made three years later, showing his mother and sisters how he could levitate three small pebbles if he concentrated enough.

At the age of eleven, Raj had worked minorly with his skill without ever actually learning how dangerous it would be were it discovered by his master. It was well-hidden, however, since his mother knew exactly what it meant and taught him when and where it would be safe to practice. When he was twelve, a militia of Earth benders located and attacked the camp and in their escape, Raj was headed home from working and was grabbed by one of the raiders. He learned after that all three had been killed in the attack by a fire started by his desperate master.

Since then, Raj began training under the Earth Kingdom, keeping his old shackles as reminders and also to help him train physically. He has no faith in others which has led him to stay away from most people. Raj lives and fights only for himself and the memory of his family. Due to this fact, Raj has been marked to be watched since it is suspected he may betray or attempt to flee his new home and possibly cause unneeded trouble for the Earth Kingdom. One of the few times Raj is ever "social" is to find out more about the Ozai Faction that had eaten away his family from the beginning of his life.

flameblossoms
Name: Kou Lin

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Karmic Alignment: +0

Rank: [LB]-5 (Apr.28.2007)

Tribe/Nation: Earth Kingdom

General Description:
Eye Colour~ dark brown
Hair Colour~ black
Skin Colour~ pale
Clothing~ She wears a green and gold tunic over a long-sleeved cream shirt and baggy cream pants. Her sandals look a bit worn but she refuses to replace them unless they break. Her long, messy, wavy black hair (which reaches up to the tip of her back if she lets it down), is tucked underneath an oversized round green and gold hat, matching her tunic. She wears a necklace with a bone pendant with the symbol for "light" carved on it.

History/Bio:
Kou lives with her mother, the village herbalist, a job which she had little interest in. Her mother taught her bending, sent her to school and the two of them lived a normal life. However her mother was a bit secretive about her father, General Kou Chun, who died during a skirmish against a rebel group, a few months before she as born. Because of this, Kou became interested about the complexities of war, why people/nations fight and how different people think and feel about it. She wasn't THAT curious about her father, although she would appreciate any information given about him. He is her hero, after all.

By the age of 18 Kou decided to travel, returning home from time to time to reast and visit her mother. On her travels she enjoys talking to people, tasting different food and visiting historical sites. She is undecided whether or not to participate in certain battles despite her strong feelings against certain groups and practices, as she thinks that such actions can't be made rashly. She does want to know more bending, just in case.

Akira had to learn this at a very young age, already being a distraction for operations at the age of four. As he grew older, his father was always trying to get the family noticed by people with better life styles, so that they wouldn't have to live there life style of theifs.

But years later, when he was 12, Akira and his family containing his mother, father, brother ran into a operation gone bad. His brother was caught and killed in a struggle, Akira was forced to watch, proving that it wouldn't pay to live the way he did.

PinkieKitty

Tribe/Nation: Earth Kingdom
General Description:
Eye Colour~ Her eyes are hazel with flecks of green, almost the color of the forest floor.
Hair Colour~ Her hair is a messy brown, the color of dark cherry wood.
Skin Colour~ Peach with a soft pink-ish hue.
Clothing~ Alix wears brown baggy capris that match her hair color. She wears a tan tank top covered by a light brown poncho. All of her possetions are somewhat ragged, with patches and scuffs. She uses this as a blindfold when practicing earthbending. When she is not using it, it is tied around her head to keep her hair back.
History/Bio: Alix was born and raised in Ba Sing Sae with her little brother, Maki. Alix always was amazed at the streangth and beauty of the city, and never wanted to leave. But her parents were poor, and favored Maki over Alix. No one seemed to notice she was even there, and no one supported her. The negligence of her family drove her to run away to seek a better life.
She wanders from place to place, learning from different people and helping out when needed. She believes that no one should go ignored like she did, so she enjoys doing favors for people who ask. She is very open, but she does hide the fact that she is illiterate. Her parents never taught her how.
She spends her time training, although she is still a lower bender. Earthbending was always a huge part of her life, and her techniques were always a little different than others, but she looked up to her teachers as role models. Her goal is to become a strong bender and go back to Ba Sing Sae, the city she admires. There, she wants to teach others, like her teachers before her.

Angstrom lord of all
Name: Angstrom Jairi Gudson

Age: 47
Gender: M
Karmic Alignment: +0
Rank: [LB]-4 [Note: Chi Blocker]
Tribe/Nation- Earth nation
General Description:
Eye Colour~ Ice blue eyes, almost white.
Hair Colour~ Snow white
Skin Colour~ Tanned, but Caucasian (Applicable?)
Clothing~ Simplistic, to say the least. A tan shirt with no sleeves, old and Dirty. His pants are black and large, wind proofed, also Dirty. His hands are bandaged, as well as his feet, for he bears no shoes. He has a small white scarf he sometimes uses to block wind and sand.
History/Bio: He is old, Older than most, and still he treads the way of the warrior. He is a normal sized man with a white beard, cut rarely. Though wise, he acts forgetful and empty headed. For many years he has fought with his bare fists, never knowing whether or not he was a bender, never caring enough to find out.
In his small hometown village, at youth, he was picked on for being the worst bender and worst fighter. He was constantly beaten by the other boys until he ran from home. At first he did well, until he came across some Earth Kingdom bandits. Though he was captured, he managed to pick up a few tricks of bending and fighting while with them. in the four months with them, suffering through their harsh beatings and whips, he became very strong. They used bending against him when they didn't like his actions, and so he learned how to stop them, slowly but surely. On the day he tried, the guards arrived after he was beaten to a near death state, and slew the bandits. He was taken back to his village, whereupon the first thing he did was to give the boys back there an 'example' of his improvements to the now nearly grown boys, and he beat them all without bending. It was then he learned to love the fights he was in.
Though he had become strong because of the unwilling assistance from the bandits, he still had much more to learn if he was to be a proficient fighter. He set out on a quest, if you will, for knowledge on fighting styles and how to defeat benders. He had travelled to many places inside the Earth Kingdom, and while at Ba-Sing-Tse he had found a particularily interesting book that told many bender's weaknesses. Though the book was informative, it was old, and not reliable. It did, owever, intrigue him, especially one art-- "Chakre Halting".
He had learned from the book that benders were not inherently magical-- they simply could control an essense inside of all known as 'Chakra' through elements and mediums, forcing their own energy through it. He also learned where it had originated- the Fire Nation. He set to it quickly, but the progress was slow.
For three years, ages 17-20, he studied, pored over tomes, and searched. On the anniversary of his third year there, on the verge of despair, he found a wizened old woman in the library, holding a new tome to her chest as if it were a child. She presented this book to the library, but the library wouldn't take it-- it taught how to defend against benders, and the fire nation apparently did not want resistors who could disable their enforcers. The book was burned there and then.
Furious, the old woman stalked out, and Angstrom followed, inquisitive to the nature of her lores. She mistook him for a fire nation assassin and nearly slew him, old and aged though she was. After an hour and a half of explaining and pleading, the old woman reluctantly agreed to teach him her arts.
The training was not easy. for another four years he stayed in the fire nation, training mind, body, and spirit to learn how to stop benders. he had only learned the basics of his training when the old woman suddenly refused to teach him any more.
"Thats far enough." She had stated. "You will now learn like I did, through hard labor and experience. I have taught you what you need to know to live, and I shouldnt've done even that. but, being the nice old lady I am, I decided that my knowledge must live on. So continue studying and fighting, pupil, and become a master yourself. And so help me if you fully teach others when you're at my skill, I swear upon my ancestors that I will come back from the afterlife and haunt you until the day you die!"
He knew it to be no idle threat. He had spent many years afterward in training to teach others how to fight-- benders becoming more and more prominent, and defense against them needed, though he was one himself. he taught how to disable them, and how to stop their energy flow that channeled their element.*
He settled down at the age of twenty nine and married. After one year, his wife bore him two children, one of whom was a stillborn. His wife died during the labor of the other, leaving him alone to raise his new son and ward. He taught his son how to fight like him, and bend like him, though he wasn't that skilled. he wanted his son to go to Ba Sing-Tse to study and become a more proficient bender.
His hands, long ago burned by great fires from his house when fire nation bandits attacked and killed his ward, he never removes them. He was thirty when his ward was killed, and to this day he still hunts the bandits that slew his son, who was his ward. It was the day of his son's twelfth birthday.
But now, he is but a nomad, hunting down the bandits. He has seen many die- Women, children, elders, and even babies, and so, he is no longer fazed by the horrors of war. He has sworn that once he kills the fire bandits, wherever they be now, he will finally rest. But he has also sworn not to fall until they are all dead.
He will not pass to his final rest until then.

Special Limit
Paralysis Technique / Chi Blocking:

This fighting style allows the user to block the flow of Chi in their opponent's body. By doing this they also numb their opponent's body, making it harder to move, and almost entirely halts their opponent's just attacked limb from bending.

This technique can only be used on characters 3 levels beneath the user. In order for a [MB]-8 to use it on someone they'd need to have an opponent that is [LB]-5 or lower. This technique can only paralyse two limbs, at most, in one post.

Rachlarn
Name: Shiro Naito
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Karmic Alignment: -4
Rank: [Asn]-6
Tribe/Nation: Earth Kingdom

General Description: Shiro is taller than her brother by two inches making her about five foot, six inches even though she’s older. She also weighs more at 130 pounds which is mostly muscle from all of her training with the Kyoshi warriors and her mother. [X]
Eye Colour~ Dark green small eyes
Hair Colour~ Short, black hair that goes down slightly past her cheeks and can’t be done up in most fashions.
Skin Colour~ The same light tan as her brother, Mei Kyoshu
Clothing~ Shiro wears a black long shirt with golden trim and a gold Earth Kingdom seal in front of her legs over tight, black pants and watertight black boots. Like her brother, she tucks her pants into her boots but she insists that he’s copying her and not the other way around. She also wears an Asian style straw hat to protect her eyes from the sun. She carries a katana around with her that has a black holder and almost blends into her clothing except for the black sash that’s wrapped around her waste and holds the katana tightly to her side.

History/Bio: Shiro was born three years after her brother on Kyoshi Island and, at the tender age of three, was taken to her first Kyoshi warrior training with her mother. She began to practice with her mother at the age of five with basic things such as punches and kicking. After growing accustomed to the bodily basics of being a Kyoshi warrior by the age of nine, her mother allowed her to begin training with weapons. Her favorite wasn’t the fan like was her mother’s but the katana. She trained all hours of the day with it as it wasn’t like she could hold a job until she turned ten and, when she did, she refused to work anywhere than with the warriors of Kyoshi.

She never knew her brother well as she was too young to remember him or her father much but she did remember that he loved archery and she drew his passion of archery to help her learn the arts of the katana. It was the happiest time of her life the day that she spent with him on the beach learning about his adventures and the ways of the world. But, when she saw her mother’s mutilated body and her father standing over it, she quickly realized what had become her worst nightmare. She watched as her brother turned from the nice, quiet boy she had met earlier that day to an angry murderer.

The event made her snap (a thirteen-year-old boy could barely handle it, how was his ten-year-old sister supposed to?) and sent her into a spiraling depression that lasted for two years and made her a mute for one. When she joined the Earth Kingdom army to be with her brother shortly after they arrived in Ba Sing Se, she was teased for her silence by the other recruits. Even though she was only in charge of shining shoes and doing the laundry (the only military job that was available to a girl her age), she was seen by almost everyone in her brother’s division. She never told him about the teasing she endured and he never knew.
When she was eleven, she was approached by a group of higher Earth Army officials who wanted to recruit her for a special project they were starting. This special project was a group of children as Earth Kingdom spies. Children where everything a spy couldn’t be: small, inconspicuous, and they could get into high security places without any suspicion thrown their way. At first, Shiro was hesitant (as a spy, she would eventually have to talk) but she agreed on one condition which were her first words since the incident, “If I want to kill someone- anyone- I’ll be the best spy you’ve ever had.”

They agreed as long as none of those people were Earth Kingdom.

Shiro spent the next two years of her life mercilessly killing several high level officials from every nation of the world; even the Earth Kingdom that she swore to protect when she joined the Earth Army. But she never stopped training with a knife and a katana. Of coarse, she didn’t get as much training time in as her brother but she put off an hour a day for practicing with a katana. She even studied from a nonbending master while studying tactics in the countryside. While her brother was off trying to promote peace with war, she was promoting war with suspicious death and small war.

When her brother sent her a letter of his resignment from the armed forces, she had a decision to make: stay in the Earth Army, learn to be the best spy in history, and forever loose her brother or go with her brother, become a master with her katana, and forever loose her chance to become a spy. She chose what was most important to her: her brother.

As they traveled around and became the best known private assassins in the Earth Kingdom, she practiced with her katana meticulously. Her brother always worried about her which she found sweat but unnecessary as she continued to practice anyway. She’s become slightly crazy because of all the death and destruction in life as that’s the way her mind has chosen to deal with it and more extroverted than her brother. She talks for him along with for herself and has come a long way from being a mute.

Assassin Technique #1
Name Kyoshi Katana
Requirements? Having trained with a Katana specifically for five years or more. Some of this training has to have been done under the tutalidge of a Kyoshi Island Warrior who has already mastered this skill.
Description The ability to use the art of the sword to fight and defend much like a bender would use their specific art. Almost all people who have mastered this skill are non-benders or don't concentrate much on their bending skills because of the time and effort applied. Because the skill is specific to Kyoshi island, not many people even know of it.

Rachlarn
Name: Mei Kyoshu Naito (nickname’s Mei)
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Karmic Alignment: -2
Rank: [Min]-6
Tribe/Nation: Earth Kingdom

General Description: Mei Kyoshu’s extroadinarily short for a grown man at five foot, four inches and is quite thin at 118 pounds. His muscles are more toned in his arms than in his legs because of his archery skills.
Eye Colour~ Light purple, small eyes
Hair Colour~ More orange than red long, messy hair which usually appears as though he’s just gotten out of bed and tied into a bushy pony tail at the bottom of his head.
Skin Colour~ Light tan, similar to the normal skin colour in Kyoshi Island
Clothing~ Mei Kyoshu wears a dark green Earth Kingdom long shirt with light green trim and an Earth Kingdom seal on the bottom part in front of his legs over a brown undershirt and a pair of brown pants. He tucks his brown pants into his boots which are smaller than most girls. He usually wears an Asian-style straw hat which shields his eyes from the sun and a dark green scarf tied around his mouth and under his nose to shield him from the wind and flying pieces of earth in the air. Mei Kyoshu usually carries around a bow and quiver filled with arrows strapped to his back.

History/Bio: Mei Kyoshu was born as the older of two on Kyoshi Island to a merchant and his wife, a warrior of Kyoshi. He realized that he could bend when he was quite young but was never really interested in perfecting the art as a child more than for an entertainment value. But his story truly starts when he first learned of archery.

When he was seven, a traveling circus came to Kyoshi for a night (it’s a small spot so only one performance was needed) and his mother and father took him and his four-year-old sister to see what daring feats the circus performers could manage. Mei was rather bored with the entire dealings until the archers came out and performed. They were amazing archers from the Fire Nation known for their amazing accuracy. The most amazing part was when they pinned a fly to a board without killing it. Ever since that point in time, he wanted to be the best archer in all of the Earth Kingdom. If not, the world.

He worked in his father’s shop working with his small fingers to etch detail into the carvings every day to save up the money to buy a bow and arrows with which to practice. Although his parents knew he was saving up his money, they had no idea what for. The only one that knew was his sister and he intended to keep it that way. Eventually, half of a year later, he finally could afford a decent set of arrows along with an average bow. He practiced everyday while his father was at work selling to the most exotic of visitors and his mother was training with the other Kyoshi warriors. But he wasn’t always careful to make sure no one was watching.

When he was eleven, he had already grown quite skilled and could make one bulls eye every other shot. Although he had to go to work for longer hours in his father’s shop now that he was older, he still could practice at night where, during winter when all was silent, his father discovered him and his enormous skill. After that day, Mei Kyoshu’s life changed for the worse.

His father began to parade him around the Earth Kingdom, making everyone realize what an amazing son he had had. As Mei was too young to reject his father and make his own path in the world, he accepted these journeys as a token of gratitude and love. But it was nothing more than his father’s presumed failure. His father wanted his son to be great and have everything that he couldn’t have for himself and his family but, when Mei Kyoshu was thirteen, he began to grow jealous of his son’s talents. He became a crippling drunk and whenever Mei didn’t hit the bulls eye, he would beat him furiously to ‘pound some sense into the boy’ not only with his fists but with his earth bending.

Mei Kyoshu was becoming well-versed in the world’s order by now, having traveled around the world, and knew that this was wrong but he still loved his father no matter what horrible things he did. Until, that is, they went back home to Kyoshi Island.

The boy took his sister (ten at the time) down to the beach to play while his parents shared a quiet dinner alone. His father had grown so accustomed to getting what he wanted through physical stress that, when his mother burnt the chicken she was making, he beat her too. His mother was so shocked she almost completely forgot her training but it did kick in eventually and she ended up breaking his arm as she got away. He was so angry and drunk at the time that he didn’t even pause to think about what he was doing as he sent an enormous rock hurtling towards her, squishing her as he dropped it.

When Mei Kyoshu and his sister arrived at the scene shortly after, they were shocked to say the least. A hidden anger awoke inside of the boy as he earthbended waves and waves of heavy rock towards his father until he lay on the ground, stoned to death. He left with his sister that night to go to Ba Sing Se. He knew he was a murderer and blamed himself for everything that had happened to his father and his mother over the years. He felt as if he had been responsible for his mother’s death over his father’s death and the death of his sister’s innocence.

While in Ba Sing Se, he and his sister joined the Earth Army and trained with them for the next three years of their lives. At first, he tried to practice his earthbending with the other earthbenders but couldn’t bend as long as he knew that it was earthbending that killed his parents and stirred that jealousy in his nonbending sister. He didn’t want to cause another death in his family so he forsake the bending arts and joined the army again as a nonbending archer. He continued to practice everyday until he was just as skilled as the Fire Nation archers he had seen so many years before with the ability to pin a fly to any surface without killing it.

Eventually, he and his sister left the army (he was sixteen and she was thirteen) and traveled as assassins for hire, continuing to perfect their arts without resulting to bending for the next five years. If he had to ever bend, Mei Kyoshu probably wouldn’t remember how to or, at least not be very good at it but his non-bending skills as an archer are more than superb. They make a fine profit for their work and plan to join the Earth Kingdom army again when the war starts. He remains cold, silent, and distant towards most people except for his sister (the only person he even likes in the world) whom he is almost too overprotective of all because of the unfortunate incident of his parents’ death.

Special Limit
