Apeiron King of Light Crono_Leonhart Okay, no need to flip out at me. Fine, your right, just an oppinion. And bringing that guy into this is redundant; that supports nothing. Technically, i'm neither the captain or a mod at the moment. obviously I know that you're not a mod, you said in another post, either that means that he hates you or will change you later. But you once were a mod, and if I didn't know that you were voted as the capt. then I would have assumed you were demoted because of misbehavior, because you sure are showing it. Secondly, don't assume I'm flipping out. For one, I'm a literate typer. Just because I type a lot doesn't mean I'm freaking, it's just my style...which it seems is more uncommon in this guild then the ones I'm in. Their are however a couple of literate typers, off the top of my head would be Star Akamatsu and The High King Atemu. Lastly your comment: Crono_Leonhart And bringing that guy into this is redundant; that supports nothing. This makes no sense. Which guy? Why is it redundant? And how does it support nothing? If you are trying to tell me something, the least you can do is tell me straight foward. I'm not you and don't know what you're thinking, so please tell me instead of assuming. Yes, okay, I admit it. I shouldn't have said it. The whole topic is just something that I don't beleive in, and I was just being a jerk; Sorry. The guy I was talking about was Dan Green

(heh...I've been watching to much Princess Tutu and Utena...with there extremely deep metaphors and symbolism ^^:; )

Different things result in different conclusions by different people. Oh, does it matter on how you shuffle? I shuffle by sliding cards down almost like a Blackjack shuffle. I notice there are different ways people shuffle and they've ended up with different results. heh... no it doesn't your aura is like an energy field around you... it will touch your cards no matter how you shuffle Thanks. Y'know, I was telling my dueling buddies about what you've been saying, and one of them (who was actually listening to me) agrees with what you say. They do that also. good are they a good duelist? Kinda. I know the one person I haven't been able to beat at all. He's the only one in my school that I say is a challange. All the other duelists really don't know what they are doing. They ask me if they should play this card or that card almost everyday.

Crono Leonhart I think I'll sum this all up in one sentence. Inanimate objects do not have souls. ...And I don't know Dan Green either sweatdrop Umm... I don't know who he is either, but I don't pay much attention to the credits at the end of shows. But I do believe I have heard the name before, but that was a while ago (probably before I got into anime the way I am now).

About the "Only 12 yrs and younger believe cards have souls" comment, I'm 17 and I believe they have a certain energy in them, so do quite a few other duelist I know (all above 12).
Plus, I believe everything has a soul or energy in it, wether it's inanimate or not. Well, I don't want to be sounding rude or anything, so I'll get off that subject.
Oh, yeah, before I forget, about Dan Green. Did he do anyother animes? I might know him from another english dub.

You know all those times Nestor came out of Jaden's card and "talked" to him...?
Well one time I was down at a tournament 2 weeks ago, i was using my Fairy deck... and played my Winged Kuriboh...
but what freaked me out, was that when i played it, it had the "winking Kuriboh" picture promo card... I DON'T HAVE THE PROMO.
I was freaked out and after the duel I shuffled like mad...
then I checked it again and it was normal...
then when I got home it was the winking one again...
I took an asprin and remembered your "soul" thing and had a weird dream of using Kuriboh to claw someone's face out that I knew at school who i didn't like... ninja
Really weird... but it's not too extra-terestrial...
someone could have swaped cards with me by accident...
but my cards are in sleeves so it freaked me out when I realized I never put them down the WHOLE day and didn't stop suffling... ninja
I dueled myself a bit later...
Kuriboh ended up winning me the duel. eek
mrgreen I named him after his... strange coinsidences...
that's where the name "Nestor" came from... I just thought of it. Odd. pirate

But, seriously... I feel I can connect to my deck sometime, it's usually for fun and my ammusement that I just start playing around with my card, just shuffling and re-shuffling, checking out my hands. But sometimes, when I get a clear mental picture of the card... I then shuffle until I feel a "connection" I have found though that sometimes this connection is so strong that I mis-shuffle or whatever you can call if and it stops my momentum. I sometimes then check the top card, and this is the strangest thing that the top card is most of the time what I wanted. However, this is just for my amusement... I don't say that I can do this all the time or something like that, but it's fun to know that I can feel something...whether it be mystical or not, there is something there ^^ (oh and when I mean mis-shuffle I mean something like you shuffle and then slip or something and the cards sort of slip out of your hands...not like on the floor or that, but just sort by accident you drop them earlier then you would). I also stress that I can do this when shuffling...calling forth a card when already shuffled is going past destiny... you already decided the order when you stopped shuffling...you can't just magicially assume you will have needed that card in that exact position... (again...just for my amusement...you can take that event seriously or not...just something I'd like to share with my cards and experience with connection)

ok to all you skeptics...if you have tried it and it has not availed you it is your own fault...your own inability to see outside of your tiny little boxes and your own obstinace is preventing you from using this ability...
