i dont know what your talking about... but blackmailing is basically threating someone to do somthing for them or else they willl tell somthing u dotn want anyone else to know.. like lionel could threat to tell lex his secret if clark doesnt get more information about lex or somthing..

If Lionel is really bad, why wouldnt he have already spread the word about Clarks secret? He could blackmail them right now.
And even if he got them to trust him, they would be in the same situation as if he didnt get close to them.

yea sure Lionel is trying his best to be good but that still doesnt mean Clark should trust him. I mean would you? After years of evil deeds I wouldnt be able to trust him right away.

I don't think he has bad intentions because he is possesed by Jor-el. He COULD'T do any harm with Jor-el in him. And as a "vessil" for Jor-el, he does what Jor-el wants. Maybe the headache and him writing on the paper was him coming back to his old self and he was trying to write something about it. 3nodding
Thats my opinion, at least. If you look at the facts... he's hidden Clark's secret, looked out for him, Martha and their best interests and has asked nothing in return...
He is under Jor-el's influence. eek

gah idk. Lionel may be under the influence of jor-el and martha razz . the last 1 minute of that episode confused me. i hope we find out sooon

It will be explained I garentee. Lionel was in a lot of pain, either it could be his old self, or Jor-el going back into his body. Lionel was writing down something...maybe we will find out what in next episode ninja

(Jor-El theory) Lionels 'good' behavior could also be attributed to his being used by Jor-El... not that his good behavior is due to Jor-El, But similar to that when Clark and Lionel switched bodies for a short time and Lionel was good for about a year untill "evil" Lex brought out the worst in him...
