*Friends and Family: Most of his family was slaughtered from the human king's slaughter of his race, but his older sister Cheza survived with him for a while, along with his younger sister Hontaru. His uncle is the Elder of his village and now is the elder of Lusian, the refuge city for the draco race. And his little duckling, that follows him, Verin(LOL), Maeglin considers, after Verin got the message that he wasnt interested, his little brother.
*Personality: Very calm and relaxed, he is polite and gentlemenly and has not a single mean bone in him, save for when he gets mad. Then he becomes sadistic and mean, and unbelievably powerful. He is also semi-protective over Verin, since he treats him like a younger sibling.
*History: Born from the sister of the Elder of his small village located on a island near what will soon be Kainaldia. After the human king had most of his village slaughtered, he then lived with his older sister before she died of a sudden illness. Then he was forced to watch over his younger sister till he could get to Lusian, where he left her with his uncle Alaric, he figured it would be a better life for her then to live with him wherever he could building himself a home.
But before he left Lusian, he gained his old friend Verin on his journey, and they have been traveling together ever since.

*Personality: Cold and sadistic, a blunt attitude and straightforward, he is a completely different person when with Cassanora. Oh, and he has a twisted sense of humor.
*History: He was born into the cheifton family, the second generation of the draconian race, he was the second oldest child, having one older borther, a twin sister(he was born before) and one younger sister. He grew up hating his father and because of it he became cold and distant, keeping his distance from the draconian race when he met a young elf girl named Cassanora, she was bathing in the river near his village, he accidently walked in on her bathing and fell in love, even though it was against the rules. He followed the lengthy courting laws of the dracos, and used his magick to hide her elfin roots and make her seem draconian to everyone, including his father the Elder at the present time.
When the children of his older brother, brought the dimise of his race, his father scarificed his son and his sons to the human king of whom he upset, but that didnt satisfy him and brought the slaughter of most of the race, he became next to be elder and brought the race to an invisble floating city called Lusian, only draco's can see it. After taking Hontaru in, he set her on the path to preistesshood, but couldnt convince Maeglin to stay.

((Whee. Then I come in and join the chaos too!
In clear speak, this character is for the Dawn of Dusis RP xD;; ))
Name: Naru In'gen (Naru means "to become, grow" in Japanese, it's a verb, and, if you're curious, "ingen" is a swedish word which means "no one/nobody" and is pronounced with a g as in 'go')
Nickname: Freak, lunatic, nutcase by most people (basically a lot of derorgatory words for someone who isn't "all there")
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 20 (but a spell was placed on him, which has "stopped" his aging. The spell is tied to his youkai Master's own life, so when his Master dies, Naru will start aging normally again from his real age when the spell was placed on him, he has really lived about 45 years)
Eyes: Red
Hair: Black
Height: 1.75 (but since he's so thin, he looks taller) .. eh, and for you who don't use that kind of measuring Naru is about five foot, ten inches.
Physical description:
Naru is thin as a beanstalk, but not so thin as to look malnourished or anything. He's very slender, with narrow shoulders and straight, narrow hips. His eyes may be red, but they can't usually even be seen, as his bangs are in the way. Could they be seen however, Naru would look very sympathetic and "nice" basically. He has a rather fresh-faced look so he often look younger than he really is. But as the bangs are in the way, it's his wide and expressive mouth that has to carry across the emotions he's showing, and as it's mostly stretched into a wide and rather disconcerting smile, he has more than once been called creepy.
Naru's hair is straight, and done in a high topknot. Even pinned up like that, his hair reaches down to his knees, so when it's let down, it's even longer of course.
Weapon: A large scythe, which Naru calls "Chitsuki"
Personality:
Behavior: One thing one has to keep in mind when dealing with Naru is that he isn't sane; he speaks in third person about himself (possibly doesn't even know he does this), and can go off on long, involved "rants" about almost anything. They can actually be rather poetic since he tends to use a descriptive, flowing language. Naru likes to "do" things, as in he has no patience over for teorethical knowledge, and would rather learn by doing it instead. He's logical, but tends to do leaps of logic, and/or not telling anyone of the thinking process, only telling people of the result, which adds to the confusion.
Naru is forward too, so if he likes, or dislikes someone, he'll definitely tell or show the person, whether or not it's "tactful" to do so. Also has a tendency to laugh cheerfully in a way that some would call insanely when he's fighting.
Likes: Music, birds, fighting, blood, his scythe, doing things "hands-on", children
Dislikes: Insects for some reason, rapists, reading, people assuming and behaving as if he has less intelligence than they due to his speech pattern
Friends and Family:
His family are all dead (which was his father, mother, a younger brother and an older sister). His youkai Master. Tentatively one could also count Naru's scythe in here, since he behaves as if it is an entity of its own, refers to it by name, and calls it a "she".
Powers:
Naru's magical ability isn't anything "particular", instead you could compare it to raw energy which can be formed into many different uses. He has a crystal that works as an enhancer and that gives focus, enabling him to do a lot of different spells with it, and also makes the effects much more powerful. The crystal simply "directs" his magical energies. One thing he can do without the crystal is float (one of the things his Master taught him), on the other hand, using the crystal he can float much longer and it could almost be compared to flying.
Background:
Naru's family were travelling merchants, and very seldom returned to their house, but did it at least once a year; in winter. But he doesn't remember much of his probably due to that the winter in the year Naru had become 11, a criminal broke into the house, raped his mother and sister, then tortured and lastly killed all of his family.
Naru was left for last for some reason, but the man never had the chance to kill him, since the young boy snapped, and literally tore the murderer apart with his bare hands. For whatever reason, a youkai came into the house and found the gruesome scene in the livingroom. Naru was sitting in the middle of the room in a pool of blood, doodling in it, with the dead and mutilated bodies of his family and the murderer around him.
The youkai took the child with him, but realized quickly that the boy wasn't entirely sane anymore. When the child asked the youkai what his own name was, the youkai gave him the name "Naru", for 'all that you can be, decide to be, want to be, and will grow up to be'. Naru has stayed with his "Master" since, learning to use his inherent magical ability and whatever else his Master see it fit for him to learn.

Gender: Male
Race: 100% Draco
Age: Appears between 17 and 15, though in reality is much closer 90 or so. Specific age is unknown, as he lost track.
Eyes: Colbalt Blue
Hair Color: Black, though only by the work of a spell. his true hair color is a silvery sort.
Hair Style: Long, about to the middle of his back. His bangs are left free, with a little other hair, but for the most part it is pulled into a loose ponytail.
height: Approximately 6 feet, 2 inches.
weight: 120 lbs
Other (related to appearance): while he appears rather thin, and almost frail, he is quite far from it. Shin was originally born with rather shockingly silver hair, but he felt aquard because of the death of his brother turned it black with a spell. He also has black nails, and does wear alot of the color, because he has marked himself as a sinner, even if no others believe him or rather agree. He generally wears loose fitting clothes, though his favorite being a high-necked sleeveless black shirt, with a chinese look to it, and very loose fitting pants. sometimes however, he will wear a black trenchcoat, but he always wears black gloves with no fingers.
Powers: Light Magic, Various Draconian spells including spells to manipulate his appearance to suit him, Alchemy, and the ability to pick up most spells just after reading how one would go about them.
Weapons: He rarely needs it, but does have a thin bladed sword which he carries arround on his back. while it is indeed thin, it is very hard to break.
Major Likes: Books, other people, the new dragon race, learning from other races, teaching others, cooking, and water: anything involving water.(though, in a rather grim way)
Major Dislikes: Himself, being alone, not having anything to read, too much attention, and complete darkness.
Friends and Family:Mother-Was seperated from shin while looking for a place to hide them several years ago, and never came back. she is assumed dead.
Father- Killed by the Human King's Knights.
Brother- Dead.((see history))
Friends- Many of the other Draco, though he prefers not to get extreemly close to anyone.
Hobbies:Reading, writing, Fixing things up, learning spells, Cooking
Personality:While he is rather well liked, he is a bit quiet. He never entierly got over his twin brothers death, which caused him to keep to himself; before the incident, he was quite open, and willing to try most anything. He is still a very kind person, but he avoides attachment to anyone. He will not get mad, or has never to this point, other than on the day of his brothers death; it was the one time he had ever shown his true nature and he had returned soaked in blood, none of which was his own.
History: His mother had given birth to two identical twin boys; Shin, and Lin. His father couldnt' have been any more proud. They were a poor family, but all they really needed was eachother. Shin's father died when the boys had barely reached their 15th birthday, after being chased by the Human King's soldiers for over a week to keep them away from his family. Against his father's wishes, Shin had followed him, keeping out of sight, untill the very moment his beloved father fell. For many years after that, Lin, Shin, and their mother had tried to stay with other groups of Draco, but Shin was often sick, so she left the two occasionally with friends, so she could find a more permanant place for them to hide. Just as the brothers had turned 28, she left, and never returned. Her last gift to the boys had been matching swords, which she said had been their fathers. From then on, Lin protected Shin like no other could. He stopped every threat before it even neared the other. Untill one day, Shin said he was going to go for a swim in a little river near where they had been staying. What he didn't know was that a rather large creature had taken up residence in sed river. He had left, and it was after that Lin found out in the marketplace about the creature. He rushed to the river, to find Shin already trying to hold it off, but because of his sickness he looked as if he wouldn't last much longer, and then the sword of his father was smashed by the creature to the point it couldnt' be fixed. Lin fought off the monster, to the best of his ability, but eventually it dragged him into the river, and he drowned. Enraged, Shin's true nature showed brightly for the first time in his life, and he slaughtered the beast. He waded into the river again, and picked up the limp body that looked just like him, and carried it back to the village in tears, still dreanched in both the blood of a brother, and of a beast. From then on, he took up his sibling's sword as his own, and began wearing black, saying it was his mark as a sinner, because it had been his fault his brother drowned.

Hair Color: Golden blond, but it has several orangeish highlights.
Hair Style: A waist length braid, and long bangs that go to her shoulders.
Height: Approximately 5 feet, 6 inches
Weight: 124 lbs
Other (related to appearance): She usually wears greenor blue tops that show off her stomach, and are a titch too small for her. Her shorts are almost always green, and she has gotten very much use out of them. If she has to, she will dress up in formal wear(which does suit her figure and face very well) but she prefers her own clothes. Unfourtunately, because of her almost constant activity, they are rather old, worn, and ratty.
Powers: The basic healing powers that come with being of the spirit tribe. she knows some elemental manipulation spells, but uses them rarely.
Weapons: She wears gloves, with brass knuckles built into them. other than that, she prefers to go unarmed.
Major Likes: The forests, water, people, comfortable clothes, and goofing off.
Major Dislikes: Dressing up, people telling her how she could be so pretty if she'd just act a little less like a boy, spiders, and being contained: feedom is her first love.
Friends and Family: She's generally well natured, and gets along with most everyone....when she's not stealing. As for family, she's an orphan. She never knew her family, but they were well off, so she inherited a rather good amount of money, and a position in the community where everyone would recognise her...which didn't suit her lifestyle very well. The staff of the mannor is as close as she had ever had to a family.
Hobbies:Swimming, goofing off, sleeping, running arround, talking to the forst trees, and unfourtunately stealing.
Personality: A lively tom-boy, with more energy that most people would probably prefer, she is still rather well liked. As she grew up head of a mannor before she could even speak or walk, she had always been given a bit too much free reign by the staff who were her caretakers, and it gave her an 'i can do anything' attitude, without the snobbery.
History:Her mother and father were killed in an accident just after she was born. they had left her in the care of the staff to go out and meet some friends in town for just an hour or two, when a pair of demons got into an argument, and accidentally killed both of them, and 16 other people. She grew up, being told to go do respectable things by the community, and being told just to be herself by the staff: the only family she felt she had. She ended up taking sides with the staff, and came out more herself than probably even they had wanted, but none the less, they too thought of all of them as one big family.

((This is SO off topic for this thread, but I couldn't help but note; everybody's families are almost always killed off, or have had at least one family member killed/dead.
I know I'm a victim of this disease myself *points up to Naru*, but he's been like that since the first time I created him last year or something like that. And I only killed them all off (and raped, and tortured, my what fun!) so I had some reason to make him crazy... sweatdrop What's your excuses?))

((But we never use family in RPs, only our chosen characters. We don't even have to name the family members of our OCs if we don't feel like it, so why kill them off? Sure, it's tragical, but how much tragedy and angst can you stuff in one RP? If almost all characters have their families killed off, it's not as much oomph in it as it can be... xd ;
Oh, well. Naru's crazy, if I could have come up with another way of making him so I could have I guess, but that was the fastest route. *lazy*))

Hair Style: His hair is cropped short with jagged bangs and a perpetually "I-just-tumbled-out-of-bed" look to it.

Weight: Roughly 145 pounds.

Blood Type: B-
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Other (related to appearance): Slightly tanned not from work, but from naps in the sun. He has one piercing in his upper right ear, usually a silver stud. Not deathly slender, Riku is lightly muscled but could easily be more so if he chose to work at it harder. He is usually spotted in a pair of loose light tan pants and a green tank top, slight silver embroidery in a vine-type pattern decorating its low-cut collar.
Powers: Rather powerful Earth Magic; basic spells of deception/illusion; commonplace charms dealing with things such as sleeping in a tree without falling out, clothing mending itself overnight, purifying water, etc.
Weapons: While he normally doesn't carry any, prefering to maipulate the land to do his fighting for him, he does own a broadsword that lives beneath his bed.
Major Likes: Cinnamon, sunbeams, relaxing.
Major Dislikes: Being told to do things, not understanding what's going on, cold.
Friends and Family: No longer lives with parents, but they are around... Somewhere... Most likely still in the north, close to where mordern day Bertha's Forest is. No siblings, but very friendly to whoever he meets.
Hobbies: Walking through the forest, reading, napping, climbing trees.
Personality: Easy going, laid back, friendly... Riku's worst trait is perhaps that he is stubborn to a fault with an "it's my way or nothing" attitude. Freespirited and very certian that he can take care of himself in any situation, Riku has gotten into some nasty tangles in the past, but his pride only takes note of the fact that he also got out of them relitively unscathed. It takes a major offence to get on his bad list, as most things are either forgiven or never taken note of.
History: Born and raised further north, Riku left home many years ago for no real reason: he just didn't like how cold it got in the winter. Now settled in the slightly warmer regions of centeral Dusis, Riku considers this his true home.
No murders, rapes, yokai attacks, etc occured on his family within his memory. Just as a note. >_>; We are so not the angst.
