He looked up then continued walking. "Yeah, I'm fine..." He walked past her as she stood there. His clothes, now soaked, were dripping with every step he took. He walked into the house to see Al sitting on the couch.
"Brother, you're back!" He stood up and grinned.
"Hey Al. We're leaving soon so don't get too comfortable ok?" Ed gave him a reassuring smile then walked into the back room.

"Ed, I was..."
Anna stood there, in the falling rain, not knowing where to look to. TO the house, the grav, or the comforting tree? She didn't quite know... But if she went inside, Ed would probably just ignore her and Al would worry. Besides, wasn't she kicked out? Well, Anna's decision was made; She stay up in the tree for a while. NOt caring about the pouring rain.
"Oh well... If they wonT' trust me, at least the tree will listen to my stories..." she sighed heoplessly.
She walked slowly and heavily to thre great tree and took a simple, large leap to wind up sitting in the bost comfortable spot she knew. She spent hours there, when she first came, just staring at the sky. Now, she had nothing better to do... But wait. Wait until the rain passed to go back to Central... She'd have to ask Roy a new mission.

Ed quietly looked up and noticed Al frantically looking out the window. "What are you doing? If there's a cat out there, you're not bringing it in." He put his hands behind his head and walked up to him.
"Brother, she's out in the tree..."
"Well, her choice...I'm going to bed. We're leaving first thing in the morning so be ready." He walked back.
"But...oh..." Al nervously watched him then glanced back out the window then walked to the couch and sat down.

Anna gasped sharpy as she noticed an odor all too familiar to her. She was coming...
Her lips moved soundlessly as she seemed to speak to the wind. Really, she was just communicating with her sister. It wa sa special technique they had learned to refine over the years; telepathy. They had used it over and over in complex situations and battles, and it's pretty much what kapt them alive for this long.
"...Perfect. I'll meet you there in three days. I'll take the train... avoid suspicons... Center of town... Noon" could probably be the only fragments you could descipher.
YOu see, the Belrith sisters had also thought up a way to make their lips almost unreadable. Since their telepathy couldn't be done without mouthing the words, they'd just at bogus letters like that without necessarily thinking them...

After a few hours, Anna got royally bored and jumped out of her tree, surprised to see how energised she now felt. Odd, seeing as the time to recharge her energy was usually about a day or so...
'Must be the rain' she thought, pleased.
Walking through the dorawy, she sighed upon looking at her clothes and could but state their drenched state. She'd have to borrow clothes.. Egh, from either Ed or Al. She didn't dare mess in winry's stuff; She almost got killed last time...
"Um... Any of you have a shirt and pants to spare? I'm a little... Short. Never thought I'd stay here this long. I thought it'd be a sunny day and that I wouldn't have to run from one thing to an other... Passing by dfepression... If you're not okay wit it, I'll just run downtown and go buy stuff..."

Al looked up. "You can borrow mine. Ed's still sleeping so there's no point in asking him." He got up and grabbed a suitcase and pulled out a shirt and pants. "These should do." He smiled and handed her the clothes.

Anna smiled in return and bowed her head in thanks, like she always did. The clothes... Well, of course they were a bit to big, but they were comfy, and that's pretty much all that counted, right?
After coming back downstairs sliently, since she changed upstairs away from seeking gazes, Anna came back down silently careful not to wake up Ed.
"Thanks a bunch" she said, bowing low to Al.
She had let her hair loose, and it thus fell in front of her in shining brown locks. It was straight and wasn't very long, but seemed to have no imperfections.
"You can't know how good it feels to wear warm and dry clothes after you've been out in the... Ah... the raaaaaaATCHOO!"
Oh man... If that didn't wake up Ed, not even and elephant stampeede would. Anna wasn't sick often, but she hit hard when she was...
"Um.. I might have SLIGHTLY caught a cold... Eheh..."

Al waited to here Ed yell for waking him up but to his surprise, no yell. "Either brother's just faking sleep or he's dead..." He opened up the door quietly and glanced in to see Ed on his back drooling and sound asleep. "Well....i think he's dead..." He closed the door.

"WHAT?! Tell me you're just joking!!"
Anna, panicked and not taking anything concerning death lightly, raced to the room but. It a pure act of her clumsy self, tripped on a plank that was just a bit too raised and landed face first on the wodden floor.
Ooh, man, she'd get it...
"Anna, girl, get ready to get royally clobbered" she whispered to herself, sitting up and rubbing her face. Her lips had sild open on the inside, causing her mouth to be, at a minimum, bloody.
Great.
A cold, an ignorant guy, an open lip and a guy who just doesn't get it. How could this get any worse?
Oh, right, she was about to get killed by Ed.
Oh joy.

Ed rolled over quietly. "Five more minutes, I won't be late I swear..." He fell asleep again.
Al looked at him amzed. "Well, that's Ed for ya, lazy as hell..." He noticed Anna's bloody lip. "Are you okay? You're pouring blood..." He knelt down in front of her.

"Eh?! Uh, no, Im fine, really!! I've delt with messier situations! I just need to do this and..."
First making her two index fingers touch, Anna posed her right finger on her upper lip, either the bloody one. With a blue spark, the blood seemed to evaporate and the lips, heal.
"It's a little trick I leared when I gave..."
She interrupted herself before going any further and harbored a grave look. She shouldn't even have started that sentence.
"NEver mind, I should've kept my mouth clamped. We should leave him sleep; He's propably had a tough day."
Anan got up and brushed her ahir behind her shoulders and walked out of the room slowly.

The moment Anna closed the door Ed shot up in his bed. "Is she gone?" He whispered quetly.
"What? Ed?" Al said loudly but Ed covered his mouth. He removed his hand and dug under the bed and pulled out two suitcases.
"We're leaving right now Al."
"What about Anna, we can't just leave her here!" He whispered loudly.
"Aw, she can go back to Central..." He popped open the window and jumped out. "C'mon Alphonse."

Those idiots. Did they really think that Anna would simply leave them alone there? She knew Ed enoguh to know that he sould've blasted her head off right there and then. And what happened? He slept through!! And instead of going in her little corner, she had done what she hated to do; Listened at the door. But hey, it was a god things, I mean, she heard everything they said.
With a rather savage and brutal kick, Anna forced the door to open and litteraly blow up in splinters. Barging in the room and up to Ed, she viciously grabbed him by the coller, kneeled of the bed and pinned him to the wall.
"Look, pal! I've done things in my life and Ive seen people who weren't grateful to life, but you, YOU! You're the most ungrateful twit I've ever crossed in my LIFE!! I mean, I've save your sorry butt more times than you can count!! But because YOU couldn't see me, I don't exist! WELL SCREW YOU! 'm following you to Central! I had to go there to see Roy anyways. SO DEAL WITH IT' GOT IT?!"

Ed rolled his eyes and swatted her hand off his collar. "You know, I've never met anyone so god-damned stubborn as you! You act as if you know me, which you don't, you act as if you're family, which you aren't and you act as if I trust you, which I don't!" He got right up in her face then grabbed Al's sleeve. "We're leaving and headed out of here. I don't care if I have to use alchemy to do it. AND WE'RE NOT HEADED TO CENTRAL!!!!" He stormed out the door with Al in toe and made it to the front door. He opened it quickly then slammed it shut then darted as fast as he possibly oculd down the street.

Really. She had nothing to do, now. No family to go back to, no home to return to, no friends to visit... She just had to go to centra--... Uh oh... Problem; She still had Al' clothes on... o_o

Nothing copared to this, I guess... She had no meaning, Anna. Not anymore. She lived to protect Al and Ed. Now what? No one. Actually, he hated her. Al would probably indifferent if not empathising wit hher. Besides that? She was...
An alchemist...
Right, her wings.
"If they won't listen to me as a frusrtated fool, they'll listen to a wise girl..." she hoped.

A large shadow flew overhead, stoping the rain like an umbrella would. What was so large to cover that much space? Wanna know?
Anna.
If they wouldn'T listen to her then, they would listen to her half dead. At least, it would give them a parcel of the image of how far she'd go for them.
LAnding, panting, in front of the duo, Anna stood high and proud though every inch of her body was being torn apart by a searing, gut-wrenching pain. She couldn't let it affect her, not yet, not now.
"Sir Edward and ALphonse Elric, I am unable to let you leave the Rockbel's house for the simple reason that I am the one supposed to keep an eye on the two of you. As well as Miss Winry would be heartbroken to find out you've left without even saying goodbye. Please turn around and return to the household lest I be forced to use necessary means."

Ed rolled hi eyes again and started to stroll around her. He didn't feel like having to put up with this. He's left Winry many times before without saying good-bye and this time would be no different. Ed turned to call for his brother who he knew wasn't following. "Yo, Alphonse!" He tilted his head in the direction he was headed and Al picked up the pace.
As he passed Anna he let out a quiet whisper. "I'm sorry..." He caught up with his brother who was already a good distance away.
Ed, not knowing what would happen next, clapped his hands, ready for a battle if nessesary.
