Hey,
I'm going to have to defend this I know some people don't like yaoi and I respect that. I respect that not every man is gay. Two guys can be close friends and it mean nothing or could just be brotherly love.
But I enjoy both, so what if Heero loves Relena or Duo, or if Relena herself likes Duo, Dorothy or Quatre.
People see differn't things in the episodes I for example loved the Heero Relena love story on screen. I still think it's kinda sweet. But currently I'm more of a 1x2 girl.
I could justify my reasons to you all day yet you proberly wouldn't change your mind. It's just the pairing you've chosen through your own choice.
If the fic's well written, Yaoi, Yuri or Hetrosexual I'll read it. If It caches my eye I'm not bothered with the pairings. So what your favourite pair don't fall in love in this fic or don't seem to like each other in the eppisode.
People change. Opinions change, and people can use artistic liscence to change what they do or don't like. I don't think people should be bothered wether they are gay or not. It really doesn't matter.
You're still going to like who you like. If another Gundam Wing series come out clearly stating Heero's gay will that make you like 1xR fic's and pairings less ? I don't think so.
So I ask again does it really matter ?

Colonel Lady Une Duo-chan_in_wonderland When Heero ripped apart Relenas invitation You hate Relena don't you? *Puts on sad Relena eyes from Ep 1* But why? Personally, I love all her romantic moments with Heero like when they meet as he's getting off the plane in Ep 30, the touching goodbye from Ep 48 and the kiss from Blind Target. Also liked Ep 28 when Treize thought Une was dead and referred to her as 'my love' before imagining her. And Ep 42's coma scene! Treize brought Une roses! That was just cute... relena gets on my nerves.. she gives me a headache XDU

The parts i remember most are when heero rips up Relena's invitation, i dont know why but i think that made her more curious of him
And right after he comes out of the battle with epion and everyone thinks he is the heart of space or something like that

Heero is flying out in Zero in Neo Bird mode Epyon was practically destroyed or critically damaged when Zechs plunged the beam sword in to the reactor of the block of Libra.

Favorite parts, eh? Let's see.
I like:
Heero's manical laugh; when Heero steals pieces from Deathscythe in order to repair his own; when you first see Duo; Duo shooting Heero; Trowa and Quatre's meeting in the Gundams; their random musical number; when Trowa laughs when Heero tells him that self-destructing hurts; Quatre's manical laugh; the whole episode with Duo and Quatre in the Middle Eastern town; Wufei's final battle with Treize.
Augh! There's too many! Maybe more later.

~My favorite character moments are all of Duo's moments 4laugh . He always seems to know what to say to make me laugh ^_^. I also like the moment when Trowa took care of Heero after he try to kill himself, and they are in Trowa's trailer and Heero tells Trowa don't try dying, it sucks( i know this is misquoted, but I don't remember the quote exactly) and Trowa laughs. That was funny lol . My favorite battle scene is in the last episode, Heero vs. Zechs.

I haev to say that the Duo V. Vayete + Mercurius was my favorite. Although it was short lived, it just went to show how much of a bad-a** Duo really can be.
