Rosa smiled, and gave the girl a slightly satisfied nod as she pulled out her DREADED WEAPON OF DOOM! Okay, so she pulled out a comb.
She moved to thread her fingers throught he girl's bangs and brush her hair, neatly. "Try not to clutch onto your clothes like that, Ursa. It doesnt ... well, it isnt exactly flattering." She informed her.

She smiled and nodded, "Sorry Lady Rosa," her hand went back to her side. Her eyes beamed brightly, Rosa wasen't all that bad. She wasen't bad either.

The woman smiled again, and removed her hands from Ursa's person, leaning back to look her over she nodded. "Countess Rosa. Much better. Now, little Ursa.." She came to her feet, and looked at the door. "Im sorry but I need to do alot today, and I have lost many hours to dreaming already. I will see you again, I am sure - as it is but one castle to roam." She went to lead the girl to her door, promptly and official like, maintaining the almost unnatural grace and posture of hers as always.
((Sorry, sorry, I told you It wouldent last that long. *pout* ))

Ursa nodded, "I'll meet you again someday," she smiled and made her way out the door. What a fool she scowled to herself and closed it firmly behind her, "Goodbye.." Session End

A note written in Muris' best handwriting (which still barely passes as legible) sits next to a note by Rosa's door.
Lady Rosa, Thank you for teaching me things. I hope this will make up for me being not so good of a student... ~Muris

October 3rd, 2004 -"It's always such a cliche when one discovers her elder's sisters utter lack of love and total loathing for her. I don't know exactly how clear to express how I feel, at the moment - but little pieces begin to fit in my mind as I ponder the past.
Perhaps it is simply jealousy, perhaps not. According to my own blood my life isnt even worth living - and I, in myself and who I am, deserve the mockery and gossip. I pride myself that, save for Aesculus, I rarely 'gossip' about anything.. and have for some time now been trying desperatly to glorify what good things there are about people's demeanours I dont generally like - especially my sister.
We havent had much of a relationship anyhow, not much when we were teens and it only declined, it seems, now that we are adults. Speaking of Aesculus... well, it seems the boy has an inner anger he would like to errupt on my behalf. I am sure, within a few days time, I will either be deranked and officially stripped of respect by the rest in the court or... Something that will truly make my life unworth living. Truly, it is only the beauty and grace, and refinement that I am loathed for that gives my life even a glimmer of hope.
I try to look on the better hands of life, if I can't be accepted for who I am I shall try and remain solitary - and only converse with those I feel safe with. This list, however, is very short. Alces, Muris.. Ursa, perhaps. That is all. It will be there own misfortune if they would prefer to be bitter and speak ill of me while I am away- rather then attempt to know me for who I am. I will also take comfort in this fact.
I really hate Aesculus. I dispise him more then anything else I can think of at the moment. He is arrogant in a way I cannot possibly describe, and boasts of and tries to use power he has yet to obtain. Everything I am accused of being I see in him; and his disgusting attempts at appearing humble churn knots inside my stomach. I will, from now on, keep my dignity - if what he wants is my silence and dull personality that is what he shall have. He has the King as a best friend and all the women, EVEN my own sister... as minions, therefor at the moment I cannot see any other intelligent strategic action. Power will be mine, soon enough, and after I get through the aftermath of our most recent encounters they all shall see.
I am sorry if this writing is dull and rather... emotionless. I feel quite barren at the moment, and the hurt only wears as I cover it with false smiles. Perhaps this all truly of my own doing, but I do not think I hold all the blame. We shall see, I suppose."

Participants: Rosa and Alces. Plot: ? Session Start The sounds barely seeped out of the door that cealed the fey countesses' room, and lingered not seconds once they escaped the perfume drenched, satin luxoury of what was inside. They were hasty yet graceful plucks of sound among elegant strings, molding into a chorus of music created on the harp.
It was a somewhat malancholy song, or so it seemed. Slow, and entrancing; though created with much more talented fingers then months prior. It was a sullen mood Rosa had visited often, it gave depth to the otherwise completely shallow woman - and if only for a second, for the brief second when you could see or hear nothing but the image of a musician and her song she was thoughtful and poetic....
And then of course, she would speak. Once again, it was early in the morning, dawn was just peeping up over the lands and most birds were not even awake. Her song was quiet, and she hummed to the melody she created. She wore a long, almost modest gown to greet the morning with - most definantly not intending to be seen just yet. Her hair was loosely let in a series of braids, all pinned up by simple clips rather then fastened as they would soon be in a few moments when she planned to leave her confines.

The man was slowly walking through the halls of the castle, heading off toward the exit. He wasn't quite sure why his Kithain wanted him to come to Gaia so early in the morning, but he had agreed to go meet her anyway. His 'plans' changed soon however. In fact, the moment he heard faint harp music he knew that Rosa must be awake. Figuring his kithain could wait just a while longer he spun around to return to his chambers, speeding up his pace slightly.
After making his way back to his quaters, Alces grabbed something off of the small table at his bedside and concealed it within his tunic by slipping it in his belt. Luckily, it was small enough that he could easily hide it. When this was done, he quickly made his way back to Rosa's door and waited a while to make sure he still heard the music coming from the harp. As soon as he had confirmed she was still awake, he raised his hand and knocked on the door rather quietly.

Rosa's pupils immidiently took focus, a somewhat dazed look was instantly replaced by an alert.. annoyance. "What?" Her voice attempted to boom, but was actually cracked from just waking up a moment or so ago and not having of used it yet. (( LOL look at that ahnna makes no sense.. )) In the end, her 'what' was more low and annoyed then snappy as she came to her feet and went to her mirror, cringing at the 'mess' her hair was in; though, infact, it actually looked quite nice considering the time of day and situation. "Who is it? Did I wake you up?" She questioned her potential visitor, speaking loud and clear now especially since her harp had ciesed.

"Alces." Alces told informed her, "And no, you did not wake me dear Countess. I was already up." He continued to speak through the door, finishing with, "I apologize if I am interrupting something Countess Rosa."
He then waited to see if she was going to let him come in, or just tell him to go away. He gave his belt a small pat to make sure his gift hadn't fallen out on his way back here and was happy to see it hadn't.

Rosa's dark foresty gaze widened when she heard the name. Some odd combination between a scoff and gasp of suprise came as she entwined her fingers into parts of her hair, looking somewhat horrified. 'Oh it had to be a man.' She thought to herself, looking somewhat frantic as she buzzed around her room as though preparing for some barbaric attack, throwing on a different dress and trying to put her hair in some 'nice' way - and by the time she was done, a good ten minutes later atleast, (which, really, is exeptionally good for her) she opened the door she was out of breath. Inbetween her semi panting and quick gasps of breath, she forced a smile and moved infront of the door. "Hello.. Alces." She said as sweetly as she cold, and half gracefully kicked the door open the rest of the way behind her. "Come in!"

He was now seriously beginning to wonder if he had interrupted something. As he waited there he stared at the 'interesting' floor. When the door was opened he had already put on a smile for her, but that quickly faded. "Countess Rosa?" he began, "Are you sure you are all right? Once again I am very sorry if I interrupted something." Alces blinked at her a few times, but slowly began to smile again, nevertheless, still managing to look a bit concerned about her.
"Thank you." He entered the room and turned around to face her, "I hope you have been well as of late Countess? I'm afraid I haven't seen much of you."

"Hmm?" Rosa quickly retorted, twirling around and closing her door behind her. "Oh. Yes. Fine." She stated, nodding once.
'Just...wallowing in self pity..' She thought, and then as if getting annoyed with herself for even thinking a moment that -she- was capable of self pity, she shook her head a bit violently.
When finnaly the brief show of insanity left her and she realised she was before another sentinent creature she put on another smile. "No, you werent interrupting anything important. Its just.. well, I wasent expecting anyone, you see, and had to get ready. Im sure you understand. Perhaps .. though, perhaps next time it would be better to give me some warning? Send a letter maybe? Give me a day or two in advance to prepare?" She asked with a smile that could of made her words seem like a joke.. even though, they werent.
She walked back to where she had been, and sat on the small white stool that was infront of her harp. "Why are you awake, Alces? I thought I was the only one around here who woke this early." She asked, finnaly letting her voice and breathing rate calm.

"I am sorry Countess, I shall try to do that next time. I hadn't expected to pay you a visit either. This also answers your question as to why I am awake at this hour. You see, I had been heading into Gaia to meet my Kithain for some reason known only to her, and when I heard your music, I figured you were awake." He paused to take a breath before going on. "The only reason I did is because I have something for you." A grin was now coming back onto his face, "When I saw it, I knew it was for you."

Rosa turned her head sideways, and blinked a couple of times. "Oh, another gift?" She questioned, before the realisiation dawned on her and she cracked another smile. "That's very sweet and generous of you, Alces. Surely, with all the gifts you give I imagine your chambers are next to empty..." Trailing off, and looking around her place she shook her head, "Not that im complaining." She ended, smile creeping wider as she observed him expectantly.
