Yeah, we have just one machine that does a bunch of that stuff. Good luck with saving up. I never can, mostly 'cause I don't make any money and I spend the stuff that I have sweatdrop
Nice, maybe I should give out free art too. Just like bloodyrose told you in the thread xd

Yes...um...hi?
Yeah, ok. So really, I'm just insanely bored. Also, I have to say. I'm jealous of the apparent artskills here. I'm no artist, but I've always wished I could draw. What can I say, writing just isn't the same.

Yes, I've felt that way for quite a while.
Hm...Well I don't really write well. And if you really wanted to draw it's not like you just can't. All you have to do is start and you'll get better and better. 3nodding whee

I used to write.. but I guess I just don't anymore.
Yeah, everybody can draw, they just have to actually start -and then practice.

I wrote a book.. which I am not done yet. But I got to like, chapter 20 I think.
It's been so long. I actually lost it. But my friend amanda should have it saved on her commputer because we actually wrote it together.
Maybe I can make a thread where I write a chapter, and you guys can read if you're interested. Then you can give me honest feedback or something?
And I am still trying to think up ways to get this guild more active. I still haven't gotten a response for that art auction thing. I guess I'll have to wait for the guild leader.

[ Blackrose ] I used to write.. but I guess I just don't anymore. Yeah, everybody can draw, they just have to actually start -and then practice. That's what I did. I used to draw horribly, well, anime at least. I also looked up anime tutorials on the net. But I have also drawn my whole life. I drew a cat when I was six, and it was actually pretty good. For a six year old. So I guess it also depends on if you've been drawing your whole life.

kuraYami no Mitsukai Yesh...same with me. I look back at my old drawings and it makes me...ughh...-_- Now, my only problem's getting things into proportion...(I think I spelled that wrong...) sweatdrop I was really bad with body proportions. Horrible. I would always draw the hand behind the back, and the legs would be to long, and the breasts lopsided. Then I got this book, and it helps me with poses and stuff. Hands, legs, etc.

Yes. I s'pose if I practiced I could become something of an artist, but words come easier to me. That, and I don't have to look at some ugly creation I've made blaugh . Instead, I just get to read and say: "wow...I just created a whole new level on which the english language can be slaughtered!"
Besides, I'm not one for intense practice, nor am I creative. In answer to anyone who then goes, "how do you write?" Well. I'm a historical fiction writer, and so far, all ideas are inspired by history. Take my novel-in-progress: Pirate Queen: Powerful by Land and Sea. It's all about Grace O'Malley, who was indeed a real woman, and was indeed a pirate. I did some research into her life and background, changed some things, added some things, and voila. A plot. Not a great one, but something to work with.
So yeah. Reasons why I'm not an artist biggrin
PS. Nice banner!

Well BlackRose, assuming you are talking to me: thanks xd
As for the story, if you're interested in the idea, you should google Grace O'Malley, it brings up some interesting results in my opinion. And who knows. Perhaps I'll edit and post the first chapter here in the guild if people would be interested in reading. Don't expect anything too great though!
