"Going after Diamond. I think we're going to need some spirit help. I'll keep an eye on the spirit board. Matt and Blake go work on Blake's power, and Mickey and Paige take a break or something." She said, sitting by the spirit board, trying to channel her mother's spirit for guidance.

Jen looked at the weegie board, wondering if this was a long shot. She needed to focus. She concentrated, trying to channel someone.
((You've got to move the pointer, your character's supposed to talk through this... lol))

Matthew tried as he could to 'help' Blake, but he wasnt doing much good, especialy because he was keeping an eye on Jen.
Now was Matt's chance to contact them. He had to concentrate...
"M" "A" "T" "T"..............
Matthew saw the pointer go to 'T' What the heck?! Trying not to seem suspicious, "Hey! Whats it saying?" He ran over to Jen and the board.
..."H" "E" "W"................
Matthew became worried after the 'W' A little help here Master!!
((Notice that diamond hasnt shown up in a while? Shadow's been holding him back so Matthew can do his work))
Diamond materialized and sent spikes flying everywhere, one breaking the spirit board into pieces. Then, just as soon as he had apeared, he vanished.
"Is everyone alright?!? Damn...I guess we DO need to be more prepared." Thanks Master...

"What the hell is going on?" Jen shouted over to Blake and Matt, who were across the room. "Blake the spell I got it from the book, it's in my coat pocket." She shouted, freezing the spikes using Blake's power. "That's nifty." She said, smiling slightly. She ducked behind the couch. "Um, Blake hurry." She said, carefully.
((She picked up the spell, she just didn't read it to know what she had to do.... le sigh))

"That was too close, I........wait...you have a vanquishing spell? Already?" Matthew was becoming worried. He may have to just kill them and forget about gaining Jen's power.
Damn! How am I supposed to contact them now? He kept thinking. Maby my telekinisis will work. I seem to remember the charmed one's grandmother using her power all the way from the spirit world, not to mention while she was on earth....but what do I move?"
He looked around. Finaly he saw his book of shadows that Jen had brought. He started tk'ing the pages, and it worked! He coulnt find Matthew Tate, however. His family had obviously not been around long enough to have delt with him, and the only time he had been in the present it was the charmed ones who got him....Thats IT! The Charmed Ones. Ive got to find the page in their book!
He floated upstairs and found their book. Luckily it knew he was good and let him touch it. He kept looking until he found Matthew.

((Heres what I could find: ))  Matthew Tate was a worloc in the 17th century who was cursed into a locket by Melinda Warren. Only a decendant of her's can open the locket. His known powers are blinking and the ability to steal other witches' powers whenever they use them on him. To Curse Him Into the Locket: Outside of time, Outside of gain, Know only sorrow, Know only pain! Use that spell along with a potion ((i have NO idea on the ingrediants, but includes the feather of a spotted owl, which is endangered now))

Once Matt had the book open to the right page he tk'd all the books off the shelf of a bookcase and tried to move them around the book of shadows. He was loosing energy, however, and fast.
This was probably his last chance. If Matthew foiled this plan as well he would be screwed.
"Diamond? but...."
"The book of shadows!" She orbed up to the attic, followed by Matthew and Mickey. "What happened up here?" She went over and read the book. "Matthew Tate? Didnt my sisters already get rid of him? The book must be wrong." She closed the book.
Matt used his last bit of energy to firmly tk the book back to that page.
"Fine then...It says here that he has the ability to copy powers. Maby it means we're supposed to copy Diamond's power to destroy him." She had a confused look on her face.

"Copying powers, wait. While I was at P3 Diamond wanted my powers. He seemed to think that my powers were the key to vanquishing him." Jen said, trying to remember what else he'd said. "Matthew Tate, the weegie board spelled out Matthew, at the time I thought it was Matt, but what if it was Matthew Tate?" She asked, looking at Paige. "It could be a warning, but until we know for sure maybe we should retain from using our powers." She said, still in thought.

DAMN EMPATH!!!!
Matthew didnt know what to do. There was no way he was getting the powers now. He had to get the empath away from the others so he could attack her without the other's aide.
"I think I have a potion that we can use to summon him at my house, but I cant remember where I put it." He pointed to Blake and Mickey. "Why dont you two work on finding out how to vanquish this guy, and you..." He pointed to Paige. "...can try and write a spell to copy Diamond's power. That way we cover both theories."
He walked over to Jen. "You and I should go to my place to find that potion. I'll orb you..."

Jen looked at Blake questioningly, but broke their eye contact hoping Matt hadn't notice. She shrugged. "Alright, I guess. Let me get my coat." She said, walking over to her jacket and handing Blake the vanquishing spell for Diamond. "Alright I'm ready." She said, smiling mischeviously.
