Renji's lips twisted into a smirk as Jezz started snickering.
"Well, I couldn't agree more, but Taiki seemed to get a kick out of it." He chuckled when she basically called the detention room a a bad porn set. "Yeah, that a paretty good description. Different strokes for different folks and all that. Akimoto isn't the only teacher to work in detention, I just think he's one of the ones wo enjoy it most." Renji rolled his eyes, sick to death of saying the man's name.
His eyes rose in surprise as Jezzyanked up the back of his sweater vest and dress shirt, but as her fingers began working magic long black lashes swept down to cover te dark blue eyes.
"Oi, Jezz-chan, you are so full of surprises..." he murmered. "Although I really don't know why you'd be surprised that I'd be worried about you. I told you that I lieke you, is that so weird?"

Jezz chuckled at his mention of surprises
"You aint seen nothin yet boy" she murmured back and let her thumb dig into one sensitive spot that would send a certain joly of pleasure that he probably hadnt felt before.
"Last i remember you told me that you were jealous and then you gave me the butterfly tattoo. And yes it is wierd"
She continued moving her fingers without elaborating. Truth was Jezz didn't think she was nothin special. She figured herself just another girl. It hadn't even occured to her that the reason boys all flocked around her was cuz of her looks. Ok it had occured she just prefered not to think of it and rather beat the hell out of them.

Renji groaned in surprised pleasure, and the nice feelings in his back made it pretty easy to forget the bad feeling of his a**. With a sigh he rested his forehead on his folded arms.
"Hai, I said I was jealous...seems I've been saying that a lot lately...I never thought myself the jealous type. Goes to show what I know, I suppose. It made me mad to see you kissing Ariko. " Renji shook his head vaguely, his eyes still closed.
"Its not weird at all. your smart. Your funny. Your tough. Your brave. Adventurous. Strong. It's only natural people would be drawn to you. And of course there beautiful, but I'm sure you must be sick to death of hearing that by now. You must hear that one all the time. So it goes without saying, ne?"

Jezz heard him say she was beautiful and her finger slipped hitting a spot that probably caused him pain.
"Sorry" she mumbled quickly
"Ya people say I'm pretty, though i don't know what's so great about me" she shrugged and moved down to his lower back. "Im smart funny tough brave advenerous and strong...well so is a labrador retriever and they sure as hell aren't as sarcastic"
She was staring at his back, no idea why, but she kept getting the odd urge to run her tongue over the tanned skin. She shook her head removing the image. What was she thinking?! He was laying there, and he was the one who was supposed to be the horn dog, not her!

Renji yelped and his eyes flew open as Jezz's fingers made a misstep. . Dropping his chin back to his arms he waved off her apology.
"Well...I myself am pretty fond of sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell. It's a highly admirable trait." He grinned broadly, feeling surprisingly at ease at the moment. He rolled over to his side, grabbing Jezz by the hand . He brought the hand to his lips and looked up into her eyes.
"Stop that...don't make fun...and stop shooting down every compliment I pay you. You're keeping me at arm's length, ne? I'm much more a close quarter kinda guy..
With a sudden tug he pulled Jezz down onto the bed beside him. He caught her within his arms and drew her close, pressing his lips to hers.

Jezz's hand was caught by Renji's and she couldn't bring herself to pull it away. Kissing her hand he looked her in the eyes. There was always something about looking a person in hte eyes, like they could see your soul and know too much about you.
She felt slightly embarassed when she realized he was right and she was keeping him at arms length, she hadn't been expecting his next move.
"I'm much more of a close quarter kinda guy.."
The next thing she knew she was yanked down beside him and she let out a starttled cry and found herself pressed against him, his lips covering her own. She initially started to pull away. Initially being the operative word.
She was always so damned sure of herself, so confident....why couldn't she act that way right now? Why couldn't she push him back and tease the hell outta him for finally admitting that he had a thing for her. Maybe it was the fact that far back, deep dwon, Jezz knew she had a thing for him too, though she refused to ever admit it.
Her body gave up it's fight and she went slack in his arms, her lips parting and her tongue slowly sliding out and between his lips. One of her hands went up his chest, around his neck and to the back of his head threading her fingers through his hair and she let her self listen to her body instead of her head, and she kissed him.

The relief that washed over Renji at the moment he felt the tension ease out of Jezz was indescribable. He had been tense, bracing himself for the worst.
It was a gamble for him to just lay his feelings out on the table like that, it was a gamble that he rarely made. He was much more comfortable hiding behind his wisecracks and verbal jabbings after all.
Perhaps that was what drew him so forcefully to Jezz...because somewhere, deep down without realizing kindred spirits recognized one another. Still...there was that fear....always that constant fear. The fear of rejection. It was almost enough to make him shove Jezz away as suddenly as he grabbed her...almost.
Instead, he resisited the urge, tightening his arms around the girl. He kissed her passionatley, and his fingers twined within the dark hair that spilled down her back.

Jezz really had no idea what was going on. She had been giving him a massage and now they were tangled in each other's arms their tongues shoved down each other's throats! What was this? Were they in heat or something?
She felt his arms tighten and she yelped into his mouth and her hand instantly smacked him in the a**, but before he could pull away she pushed his head back into the bed and her tongue nad mouth swallowed any cries he had in either pain or anger. She bit his bottom lip playfully and tugged on it, her eyes smirking at his, one eyebrow raised in almost a challenge.

Renji had stiffened at Jezz's yelp, remembering her sore back too late, but before he could apologize she gave his butt a good whack. He winced, but she was upon him again before he could make any protest. As her teeth closed gently around his bottom lip, the tip of his tongue poked out to run along her upper lip, meeting her challenge.
Renji was well known around Midori as being a flirt, boy or girl cute was cute as far as he was concerned. When someone showed an interest it simply wasn't his style to back off. So why start now. Though, with Jezz, he didn't consider it simple flirting. He raised a hand to her cheek, burying hisfingers in her hair, his thumb brushing softly against her ear.

Jezz let go of his lip and slipped her tongue out again letting her tongue ring click against his teeth and the run over his tongue.
She had always been up for a little tongue on tongue action, it was only mouths. Though when his hand found her hair, and his thumb her ear, she paused looking down at him.
Her tongue pulled back and she quickly pulled away sitting up a little to fast for comfort.
"uh.." she coughed into her hand. It had gotten a little too eye to eye intimate there. Action was action but the moment it stepped to something else she always pulled away.
"Theres your free kiss, now you have no reason to be jealous over Ariko" she said thinking up a quick excuse for the way she had responded.

Renji merely blinked in confused astonsihment as Jezz suddenly broke free. Was it something he did? Damn, what did he do? He replayed his actions over and over, but could come up with nothing. Gritting his teeth he pushed up from the bed, forcing himself into a sitting position, though every nerve in his body rebelled. The color had drained from his features so quickly it looked as though the boy might actually pass out for a second there, but he closed his eyes and smiled weakly.
"Free kiss...h-hai...I understand...makes sense..." Renji's voice was surprisingly flat, as he was already beginning his mental retreat. See, baka, taunted a nasty voice within his head. That's why you don't put yourself out there. Did you really thnk it was anything more than some harmless fooling around? Honestly Motoki, you should know better by now...
"Oi, I just remembered...I have...uh..a book to return. And I really should like get a gift for Cyn to let him know ow sorry I am..." He stiffly rose off the bed, his eyes deliberately avoiding hers. He flexed his cut hand, absently marveling at how shallow the cuts truly were. "I really should replace Sanzo's glasses too..so..I'll see you ...around..."
His hand wrapped around te doorknob and he hesitated for a moment, turning back to face Jezz, and this time he did look at her. He slapped on a bright smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"I really am glad you're all right Jezz-san. Ja ne!" And with that he was gone.

Jezz saw the color drain from Renji's face and her stomach clenched. She wanted to pull him back, to apologize....to tell him that she really did want him but....she seemed frozen in place...almost as if she were....no she wasn't afraid of anything, she simply didn't want to that had to be it....but of course she didn't believe that
Jezz lowered her head letting her bangs fall into her face to hide her expression.
The fake smile plastered on Renji's face did even less to calm Jezz's mind....
"Ja ne..." she murmured to the closed door.
She sat there for several moments staring at the closed door. She stood and pulled off her ripped top and the pants she had on. She spent the next half hour busy as hell then she left her room.

Jezz pulled off the skirt and fished around and pulled on a pair of green silk pajama pants. She tied the drawstring and walked to the closet. She wasn't wearing a skirt around her room if she could help it, whether or not anyone saw her in the pants. She undid the stupid blouse and then pulled her black tanktop out of the pile of clothes she had from her first day in and pulled it on.
She wanted music....hell there wasn't any music....looking at the digital clock she grumbled switching toggles and running dials...the thing had no music! She was going to die of boredom soon enough....her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door
"Renji, How many times have I told you-" she stopped when she opened the door and realized it wasn't Renji. The new guy actually came to her room. "Oi Koinu didn't think you'd miss me so much in only a few minutes. Can I help you with something? You lost again?"

"Yea, you can help me with something," Yuusuke began coyly. "You're my only interesting distraction from this hell hole, so I figured I'd come by and..." he trailed off, adding a second or two later, "get a little more distracted."
He smirked at her, taking off his duster, and giving an exaggerated bow, said "That is, if it's alright with you, hentabito." He winked at her, throwing his duster over his shoulder.g

Jezz rolled her eyes trying to hide the smirk and she turned and walked back into her room. Well just don't go thinkin' you're gonna get any. Apparently people get that idea in my room" she mumbled poking at the clock again.
"These things have no music, how the hell do they expect us to function." she picked the thing off the table and sat on the bed. She almost instantly had the top of the clock off and started moving wires and pieces around.
