Quote: We have some "cheap stores" where everything is new and cheap Err...For example? sweatdrop I'd really like to come across one. I usually buy my clothes from a second-hand shop or make them myself. If you're used to tops costing $5 to 14, you'll be okay... Wait I just remembered, you don't have dollars, d'you? Seeing as we have quite a long winter, it's impossible not to walk in the snow, but then that might not be what you meant. whee Speaking of winter, when is this darn weather gonna stop?! It'se been like a month! gonk

Oh and about the snow thing, I meant when it was snowing. I haven't been in the snow when it's snowing before, not properly anyway. And doesn't Winter usually go for 3 months, like every other season?

Meltlet Ok I have a few more questions (as always) What do the following mean: "Tos!" "sanotaan" and "merkki" ? Kiitos kaikki! domokun "Tos!" is probably shortened from "tossa" or "tuossa" = there. "sanotaan" = is said "merkki" = a sign, a symbol twisted

Those and many other useful finnish phrases can be found here, The Official Foreigners Guide To Finland! Phrases and some other crap too, that is. Some of the info's a little dated(marks for example) and the english a bit dodgy, but you'll get it.

People in southern Finland are starting to act more and more like people in Middle Europe.Like, when there is 5 cm snow, people are refusing to go to work and if they do go to work, they end up crashing their cars with each others or tripping over all the time. Believe me,I know from experience. stare This is very very sad...
