Kozue did a slient cheer for herself since she was able to find her way to the lake without getting lost. She saw William sitting by the lake, drawing on the ground. She stepped behind him and when he didn't move, she smiled. She gave him a shove on the back with both hands to get his attention.
"You should pay attention."

"yea well...." He sighed watching the birds play and chase each other around. "Im sarry about all of that. I don't make it a habit to hit girls for waht ever the resson...." "I just want this all to disapear and let me live my life in relative peace you know...."

Kozue sat down next to William. She looked at the water and let out a sigh.
"Well, you should learn to control your temper. You don't want people to be afraid of you...do you?" Kozue let her hand touch the water and moved her finger around in a circle.
"I have a feeling...that you don't want to be alone..."

He said nothing because she was right. He had been alone for the most part for most of his life. "I didn't hurt her did I?" he asked with a hit of concern in his voise. "I dotn want to become what I ran away from so long ago.."
In his hand he played with the blue stone that he puke out of his body the previous day. He knew what it was now, but no one would beleave him if he told them so he kept it too him self.
"Is she ok? I mean....."

"She seems ok, she wasn't really hurt." Kozue saw him playing with something but because he didn't say anything about it, she just ignored it.
"So...is this where you practice? You mind showing me a few tricks?"

"Come on.." he stood up and held out his hand to her. There was one thing he thought he could be able to do right at the moment with out risking detioing any thing.
"Come on. You'll be ok, I promis."

Kozue used his hand to get up and looked out at the water and then back to him.
"What are you going to do?" Kozue was a little nervous only because she really didn't know what to expect. She still held on to his hand, but she really wasn't sure what was going to happen.

William led her out on the water and there they stood there on top of the water. It felt like glass under their feet, but it ripled as they walked on it. "Just dont let go of me ok." It was pretty obvious on what would happen if she did let go.

Kozue looked down under her feet basicly in awe. She could have looked into the water all day, but the feeling of a hand in hers held her in reality.
"How did you do this...?" Kozue knew if he told her she wouldn't understand, but it was nice to pretend.

WIlliam looked around to see if any one was looking and said, "I just walk realy, its more inate than anything else I can do." He didn't know how he could do any of the things he could do now. but being with her made it a lot easyer.

Kozue looked at him a smiled.
"It's good to know you're good at something." She looked back at the water and the lake it's self.
"How long can you stay like this?" Kozue bent down and touched the water's surface. It was like touching wet glass. For some reason, she liked it.

"I dont know realy..." He knew that wasn't some thing she wanted to hear this far out on the lake. He was nervous but there was a sign of falling in yet so every thing seamed to be ok, for now. He laughted nervously.

Kozue just smiled and continued touching the water's surface.
"If something does happen, I think we'll be ok." She stood up from touching the water and continued to smile at him.
"Don't you?"

"I hope," he thought. For one he couldn't swim all that well so he stoped thinking aobut waht would happen if they fell in.
"Yep."He replied quickly.

"Do worry, if we started to fall, I could help if needed." Kozue chuckled to herself.
"But I don't think I'm someone to depend on in a tight situation." She laughed again.
"I still need alot of practice."
