Actually, my favorite band composers are Alfred Reed ['El Camino Real', people. El Camino! heart ] and Mark Camphouse, who composed A Movement for Rosa... very nice piece, especially with the alto sax and basson duet...XD
In a choir-nerd moment,C.V.Stanford wrote 'A Song of Hope',which is a really good soprano solo piece..>_>

Right now, i like Martin O'Donnell composer of all the 'Halo: Combat Evovled' and 'Halo 2' music. He's why i'm considering a career as a Video Game Musician.

My favorite composer is Saint-Saens. He has simple titles and the music is both awesome to play AND listen to. I also like Debussay and Borodin. Being true to my French horn, I absolutely HATE playing Sousa.

Tchaikovsky as well. And Dvorak. I have a special place in my heart for the Russians and Czech people because they love writing gooooood horn parts.
I love Sibelius, too. Karelia Suite!
