Melantha laughs then looks up at him "Maybe not in your eyes, but if I remember correctly I was the one who wrapped my arm around your neck. I also was the one who moved closer.." shaking her head she looks away "I did make a fool of myself...thinking that you even think of me as hott..When you alone are hott and could have anyone..." gasping she covered her mouth looking up at him.
She didn't say that, it wasn't meant to be spoken. Shaking her head as the blush rose she took a step back. What had seriously gotten over her. Looking around she closed her eyes praying this was just a dream.

Laer blinks, and then a smile slowly creeps over his face. "I'm hot?" he asks, a light, teasing tone in his voice.
He then shakes his head, and steps toward Mel. He puts his hands on her shoulders, and bends his knees a little, so he can look her in the eye. "Melantha, you are very, very attractive. I wouldn't have done . . . what I did, if I hadn't have felt some sort of spark. Yeah, you pushed my buttons, but they aren't as easy as you would think they are to push."

Melantha turns looking at him shaking her head "And I shouldn't have done it. Dear goddess you must think of me badly..." shaking her hair she hide her face behind her hair as well as her hands.
She was trembling from being upset with herself, she knew she should have just left. Sighing she shakes her head again then pushes her hair from her face. "I should leave you alone anyways, your Lenore's friend, and it just wouldn't be right.." she was rambling again, only because she didn't knwo what to do. Everythign she was keeping locked up inside was coming to the surface.

"Melantha, it takes a lot more than that to make me think of anyone badly," Laermeluion says. Then, he frowns. "Alright, so, I don't have a say in any of this? Because I am Lenny's friend, I have to automatically be written off?" he asks. "I'm an adult. Older than Lenny, and probably older than you. I make my own decisions, I don't allow other people to make them for me. And, you shouldn't, either."

Melantha winces at his last word before looking down "Sorry, I just...I don't know..I'm so not use to this..." shaking her head she wraps her arms around her waist "I normally can keep everything buried up inside me. But with being around you I can't, and that scarying the living hell out of me...." pausing she bites her bottom lip "Like that kiss I wish you hadn't pulled away..."
Groaning she turns away then shakes her head "That it before I make a bigger fool of myself..." she moves as if she was going to take off running again.

Laermeluion frowns again, and hurries so that he steps in front of her. He grabs her arms gently, and pulls her in for another kiss.
He wasn't lying before, he did find her attractive. And, there was some sort of spark that he cannot define. But, he will be damned if he will, one, turn down an invitation as blatant as that one, and, two, allow her to force him to just ignore it.

Mel froze instantly when she felt his lips on her again. But that was soon washed away as she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling herself closer to him. Logic was also tossed into the wind as she deepen the kiss.
Pulling her lips away from his she looked down catching her breath, she wasn't sure what just happen. And she didn't know if she should allow it again. An image of glowing green eyes formed in her head that sent shivers down her spine.

Laer watches Melantha for a second, and he gives her a half smile. "Are you alright?" he asks, noting the shiver.

Melantha looks up at him nodding then laughs "Yea, just had a feeling I was being watched that all.." with a small smile she pushes her hair from her face "Well um....yea...this is strange..." shaking her head she looks at him "But the good kind...." blushing she looks back down "Okay I'm shutting up now.."

Laermeluion clears his throat, and then chuckles, even as he looks around, as though expecting to see someone pop out of the shadows. "Don't worry, I feel the same way."
He then pauses, to clear his throat once more, before continuing, "I feel that I must tell you something," he says, in a soft voice. "It might not entirely be your fault that you are feeling as though you are blurting things that you normally would not. . . . The goddess has blessed me with a small gift. . . . My voice is very hypnotic. It is possible for you to grow immune to it while I am speaking, as it is less potent then. But, if I sing, you had best watch out. Anyway, I don't tell many people about it, and I am telling you because I hope that, at the very least, we can be friends, and because you are a friend of Lenny's. Also, as a bit of an appology."

Mel jaw dropped alittle when she heard what he had said. No wonder she was blurting out things that she normally wouldn't. Shaking her head she laughs "The goddess would send someone who could control me if they wished..." groaning she covers her face "This is so not fair why does this have to be my weakness, why couldn't I had my sister's weakness..." actually mewing she continues to hide her face.

Melantha looks up at him shaking her head "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. Its just I have no control over what I do when someone has a gift like yours. Things I should or don't wish to say come out anything. And things I shouldn't do but I want to happen anyways..." pausing she looks down licking her bottom lip "Like the two kisses...." looking back up she looks at his lips "Or the fact that I want to do it again...."
