Mookie lifted her head when she heard someone yell 'mommy'. She turned abruetly and let a large smile cross her face. Another cub! Someone she could play with! The purple lion put a paw forward and started toward the other. The flakes on her ears started to shake slightly as her fear of meeting new lions set in. With one last look at the happy cub she began to retreat, her tail under her body, ears down.

Ferrian gave a deep bow with a sweep of his tail. "I must confess my Sadness, My Lady, and my hopes to see you again."
He rose with a dashing smile and the turned to Talcorin.
"Until we speak again, My Friend." He murmured with a nod.
"I remain forever your Ally, go with my Best Wishes Crown Prince, and those of my Queen... Perhaps you and your family can come dine one evening.. " Talcorin murmured with a nod of his own.
"I shall extend the invitation to my father, and we shall see." Ferrian smiled and then spun, bounding back across the river to his home.
Turning to Yunalice Talcoring gave a smile. "Come and I'll introduce you to my Queen, and perhaps the cubs... And if you are hungary... We can remedy that as well."
Turning toward the cave he lifted his head and eyed the area eagerly, wanting to get back to Illitashia quickly.
Illitashia looked up to see Nala flying toward the den, and Lilac Wish on her back. She smiled at the cubs enthusiastic calls and was glad Nala seemed to be so comfortable so fast. Seeing her daughter so happy and with a new friend made her joyful, and she called a hello back. "Hello Lilac Darling!"
Turning back to Mookie the Rose Queen cocked her head, wondering what had upset her so. "What's wrong Mookie?

Yunalice stood and nodded happily, "m'kay" She waited for the king to lead the way, before she followed, noting the king's eagerness to get home.

Nala circled above the den as she descended finally landing upon the earth still moving on all fours. She killed their momentum slowly so Lilac wouldn't fall. Once they could stop she tucked in her wings and lay down so Lilac could hop off.
"So, did you have as much fun as I did?" She asked Lilac as she smiled at Illitashia and bowed her head.

A lone red lioness wandered the edge of the great border. The Heaven's Singer stared inside. She had been alone since she was a baby and wandered near and far. Many lions and lionesses had been met. The one named Kaminah had helped her find her place in the Great Circle of all things.
The Heaven's Singer. A odd sort of Shaman, she could call up those from the Past with her ethereal songs.
It was here, however, she had been guided. Dymphna pawed at the ground. She only hoped that Isdeli had been right. Bracing herself, she let out her roar.

The young lion flushed and turned her head away. "I.. don't like meeting new lions..." Her voice floated back, barely above a whisper. Once again she lowered her head feeling embrassed for being so nervous around her own kind yet there was just something that made her shy away.

Talcorin sped to a gentle trot and gave a loud roar, farewelling Ferrian and greeting his lady love. He smiled as her answering call echoed from the den, and increased his speed unknowingly.
Lilac leapt off and danced around Nala, spilling her words of excitement. "That was great! I wish I could fly! You're so lucky! Can we go again? Some other time? Please? I loved it!"
Illitashia roared to Talcorin, and then turned back to Mookie. "You'll have to get used to it I'm afraid.. That's all a Pride is, is new lions.. And our Allies have many friends that you are bound to meet."
She gave a little shrug. "It is not so bad.. And there is always the life of a wanderer if you don't get along in a Pride."

Mookie gasped slightly at the thought of having to leave this... her home. Her eyes gained tears as she rushed to Illitashia and rubbed against her leg. "I don't want to go... I don't wanna be by myself again...." Her voice was soft with the fear of being alone again. In her mind she decided she would never leave this pride or let anyone take her away.

Heart lifting as Illitashia's roar echoed to him, Talcorin slid to a stop as the scent of a strange lioness drifted to him on the wind. He could sense something, different about her, and his flakes shuddered as he turned in her direction.
"Yunalice, if you will go on ahead, it seems there is a new member who requires my attention." He purred, and gave her a nod before trotting toward the border.
The lionesses roar drifted on the wind, and he responded, telling her he was near. Another wanderer? There were so many! Hoping he could offer this one a home, he crested the hill and smiled down at the crimson coated femme, and proceeded toward her with a flick of his tail. "Welcome."
Illitashia smiled and nuzzled the little female, nodding. "I know sweety.. But if you don't want to be alone, and you don't want to be around lions, what do you want?"
She smiled at the little cub and nosed her back toward the food. "Finish eating first... And then we can get you settled in..."
Ferrian glanced up from his spot beneath the falls, listening as yet another female roared a greeting to the king of Rose Wings. Talcorin had more femmes then flowers in his Pride Lands, and the Crown Prince of Cyan Serenity wondered how he managed it.
With a chuckle and a shake of his mane he went back to his wading, and waited for his father to appear.

Immediately Dymphna sank into a bow, one foreleg curled against her chest. "Greetings, King of Rose Wings. I... I have come to ask to join your Pride. The Child of the Moon, Kaminah, sent me." Hesitant orange eyes flickered upwards to the males face but darted away.

Yunalice nodded to Tal, as he left to greet the other newcomer. She continued on in the direction that they had been going, stopping when she saw the other lions. She put on a happy smile, and walked towards them,...

With a giggle the young lionness decided maybing meeting new lions wasn't -that- bad. After all, she was happy to be here now and no one had hurt her. She nodded in comply and waddled back to the food, laying down and eating her meal. She looked up at the Princess of the pride with interested eyes wanting to say something or invite her to eat but still, she couldn't force it out of her mouth. Luckily she didn't have to.
"Ah, you have a amazing daughter. She's the Princess I assume? Is there a Prince of the Pride?" Starshine asked coming out of his silent observing. He directed his attention to the aforementioned princess and smiled. "I know she's a bit younger then you but there's a female lion over there." He pointed his wing to the cub who ducked her head under her paws in embarassment.

Illitashia smiled as the new cub settled back into her meal, and took a moment to run a grooming tongue over Lilac's face. She purred soothingly to her daughter, smiling slightly. Lilac was joyous from her flight, and to see her daughter so happy made Illitashia's heart soar.
The little Princess closed her eyes and giggled, but sat through her mother's cleaning, and cracked an eye open at the newcommer whenever she had a chance. 'I wonder...' She mused to herself.
Illitashia smiled and bowed her head slightly to Starshine. "Thank you for your kind words. This is the younger Princess of the Pride, Lilac Wish, her Elder sibling Amirah is about somewhere.. And no, there is no Prince here... Maybe one day."
Glancing out over the lands, she smiled at the thought of her mate. Yes.. Hopefully one day they could settle down and have cubs of their own.
Lilac nodded to the bird, watching Mookie's curious antics with confused eyes.
"I see her.. But she doesn't seem to want to be seen." The Princess Puzzled. "And it can't be something I've said, because I haven't really said anything to her yet..."
Glancing at the bird for some sort of explanation, she purred a quiet thank you to her mother, and wrapped her tail about her feet.
Illitashia turned as a lioness appeared not far outside the den, and stepped forward to meet her. "Greetings and Welcome to Rose Wings, I am Illitashia, Queen of the Pride.. And you?"

Yunalice bodded her head in a bow-like fasion, "I am Yunalice, it's nice to meet you" The tiny lioness said with a smile, wrapping her tail around her. She looked to the young cubs with a soft chuckle, and then to the winged lioness, in friendly curiosity.

Talcorin smiled and bowed in greeting.
"Kaminah? Ah! The silver child of the Moon, she visited Cyan Serenity.." He smiled. "I met her twin Lakona when last I saw Tierany... You are most welcome here Dymphna... I am Talcorin, and if you follow me I can show you to the Den, where there is food, and you may rest if you wish."
Illitashia smiled. "Welcome Yunalice... This is my daughter Lilac Wish, the young Mookie, and that is Nala... Are you hungry? Or tired? Please come in and rest..."
