With his great hearing, he could have probably tried to listen in on others conversations, but the one he was having right now with the new drinking buddy had all his attention. What a very boisterous fellow and then the ear tugging. Was he checking to see if they were real? Kalth wondered if he was trying to fight or just normally tested everyone's patience like this.

"I sure hope so. I think some others might not feel so safe."

He toasted, noticing how strong the brim of the glasses were here. If they were cheap, they might chip, but the toast was done, some of the mixed drink going tastefully down.

"Prost!"

Certainly soon he should get the guys name that he's chatting with, Kalth was just waiting on a good moment.

"Ivy..." she said quietly. She removed the cloaked mirror she had summoned to hide herself from Clash.

"My name is Mori."

She stared at the girl trying to figure out why she looked so familiar. As she introduced herself she glanced over the girls shoulder and seen Clash was awfully cheery as he tugged on the man's ear that he was with.

"Well at least he seems to be in a better mood."
She turned her attention back to the girl she had been talking too. She held her glass up to the girl as the bartender brought the drink she had ordered back to her. "Cheers! To meeting new people.."

Clash leaned forward, such that the crown of his skull hit the edge of the pitted bar top, and then he straightened up again. “Mixing swill is so depressing. Let’s have a little fun, shall we?” Setting his jaw, he gritted his fanged teeth. “Yes…let’s play,” he said, picking up his screwdriver to take another small sip, eyeing the others over the rim of the glass.

He called forth one of his fire gauntlets (Salamander), which fitted his left hand. Then a curved black katana—the second one on his person now—appeared on his left hip, the hilt being on a forward forty-five-degree angle above the tip of the blade (see avatar if you find this confusing).

Meanwhile, northwest of the fountain, the woman outside would soon find a building with a yellow neon sign on the front reading “Chat Bar.” You couldn’t miss it. Three concrete steps led up to a patio with two glass windows on either side and a brown wood double door serving as the main entrance.

Just then, he heard the names Mori and Ivy and glanced their way. The girl from the fountain, here in the presence of the uninitiated! As Ivy spoke, Clash could do naught but laugh, raising his mug again. “Hey, hey! What’s everyone say!?” Tilting his head back with a mirthful smile, he took another swallow, beginning to feel the full effect while preparing to engage…!!

"Drinking depresses you, you say? What fun are we about to engage in?"

Was he really about to just go out on a limb and engage in a bar fight? Without letting his opponent prepare first? Or whatever he thought his opponent was? Kalth downed the rest of his drink, a purplish mist surrounding his arms to those who could see it. Unknown being who was gearing up, Kalth decided to take a better look around at who he was eyeing as his target for all the brandishing.

Maybe he wouldn't get Clash's name. That was fine. "Shots? Shots, everybody?" Other things were about to go down.

Anyone outside the area would be able to hear the sounds of clinking glasses, laughter, and chairs possibly moving about the bar. The hooded woman might follow the noise, or at the least try to figure out where the scent of alcohol, bar snacks, or smoke from a hearth or fire wafting from the bar.

There were a couple of guys barhopping that bumped into the cloaked figure who seemed very lost, they were already half drunk as they pushed past saying, "Out of the way, we need more to drink." Then promptly turned and opened the bars doors and waddled inside.

Law is a funny thing, especially when crossing boarders. Very much in the way some can say that. if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? That might happen on an empire street where no one might see, could not be connected back and seems to always stay an unsolved incident for 50 or even 100 years.

Luckily in the right place, she would not have to smell or hear the sounds of those inside one building as they intentionally incapacitate them selfs. Too close to be shared the frustration of those she tends to avoid. Taking no notice of the two guy, they clearly did not have the manors to be in the presence of the lady. As both men knocked into her on this empty street they seem to puffify into two clouds and puff, they were gone to not get to that drink after all.

The founds of the door opening would still be heard, if or when anyone went to the door, they see no one there. Only the puff of smoke that was slowly dissipating as well as on the ground two glass work cups. For who can have a drink with out a ready cup. One life form could be seen on the street, on that block. The lady could look at each building some might have windows, other more or less windows. Which had a door of what style that might have been constructed where.

Eve sat there quietly, enjoying a small drink as she listened to the conversations around her. It had been quite a journey to reach somewhere safe, and now for her she could relax if ever so slightly. Sat there looking more at her drink than anywhere else and occasionally looked at her staff next to her, contemplating her next move after she left this place. Anywhere was better than where she was.

Purr had come down from the mountains to this little bar where she could hear people inside and clearly the bar tender was having a bit of fun. *she giggled at the thought of him most likely a little tipsy from the sounds of his conversation with the cat boy who clearly had a magical quality about him.* Purr then decided it would be a good time to enter the bar, and take a look at her fellow comrades as she might need to team up with them in the possible future, not to mention it sounded like a little scuffle might be in the very near future and perhaps someone would need some healing.
