A kick out, but one that showed the toll that this match was having on the competitors. Fusion rolled away and looked at Tiger, readying himself for the next move.
White Tiger shook his head and readied himself, aiming to get back to his feet. What he didn't expect was an incoming Spear as soon as he stood, but with deftness he was to jump up and out of the way of the incoming finisher!
As Avari turned around he caught him with a stiff uppercut, followed by a leg sweep, which left the Champion on the ground.
That's when Tiger rolled into a submission, locking in the Sacrificial Chamber!
Avari cursed out in pain at the move and gritted his teeth .. surely this wasn't going to be a loss on his return back to WWFG?!
The only thing he could do was to try and inch his way towards the ropes.. the ref was ready, down on the mat and asking Fusion if he wanted to tap out.
"No! Never!"
The ref still asked him again, but was ignored the second time.. inch by inch, Fusion made his way across, but the sheer pain was incredible and hard to hold out.
One fingertip eventually made it to the bottom rope, then a second, and the ref called for the break in the hold. Tiger relented and let go, rolling away and calling Fusion back to his feet. He was preparing to end this match.
As Avari awkwardly got to his feet he was almost met with an incoming strike from Tiger but ducked just in time, as he turned and aimed a hard kick to the gut of the challenger..
Ooof!
With Tiger doubled over, Avari Fusion stepped back.. and delivered a running kick to the head, a Fusion Cutter!
Both men dropped to the mat, Fusion falling on top of Tiger!
One!
Two!
THREE!
Avari's music rang out across the PA as he moved off Tiger, clutching his aching body. He won, but that was a brutal and well-matched contest. The fans applauded.. it was done the right way, and both superstars deserved their plaudits.
