Drako simply remains on the mat. Whether he's out of it or not is up for debate, but at this point he's not moving

Mason took a big step over the top rope getting back into the ring drako still lying in the ring. He stepped over to his opponent before reaching down trying to grab drako by the back of his head and pull him to his feet. If successful the rider would try and send his opponent careening into the turnbuckle.

Drako had been down but not out. As soon as Mason is close to him, the Soaring Dragon nips up, then looks to quickly lift and drop Mason across his knee with an inverted atomic drop

Mason felt himself hoisted up as he came down on the former champs knee shooting pain through Masons body from the atomic drop! The rider stumbled in pain doing his best to move away from drako as he tries to shake off the blow. His body racked with pain as he holds himself up

Drako seems to have his second wind here, as he looks to clock Mason with a quick right to the side of the head, then follow up with a second inverted atomic drop

Drako unfortunately eats an elbow to the head, instead of the quick lift and drop that comes with an atomic drop and stumbles back. Irritated, the Soaring Dragon uses the space to throw possibly the most malicious superkick he's ever thrown, aiming to finally take Mason off his feet

Drako's had enough of Mason still standing. He's put down bigger and heavier with that. But since he's still standing, Drako attempts to kick him in the gut to double him over, then attempt to drop him with the Damone Shot (Snap/Lita DDT)

unfortunately, the habit of getting ragdolled seems to be continuing here as Drako is caught by the throat, then lifted and dropped hard to the mat with a chokeslam. not an unfamiliar sensation but still painful

Mason stumbles from the force used to throw drako down. His left leg gives out dropping him to a sitting position. He begins to hold his leg in pain loosening the pad around his knee to release pressure.

meanwhile, the Dragon ain't Soaring anywhere right now. He's been laid out flat and despite that being a less than pleasant memory from his brother growing up and training to wrestle for him to look back on later, impact is impact and Drako needs a few moments to get back in this

things aren't looking great for the former world champion.
one...two...th...
Drako rolls his shoulder off the canvas again, to a burst of cheers from the crowd. It was instinct that saved him there, and perhaps the few extra seconds that Mason took to pin him but he's still in this for now
