”Thank you for staying with me,” Julian parrotted, but his voice was softer. He tucked his head into his shoulder and made himself comfortable only when he was sure it wouldn't disrupt Riker.

He had quiet hobbies, he was sure he could stay up in his room with Riker to keep him company without waking him up. He’d rather be around him as often as possible for right now–at least until he was settled!–and they could figure out the rest later.

“You can sleep as much as you want. I’m just happy you’re here.” He spoke in hardly more than a whisper. He’d been running around trying to get things ready for Riker and he hadn’t been sleeping well while worrying. The bed was comfortable and warm.

…If Riker was going to catch up on his sleep, Julian could too.
