Calling God a liar. Not a good idea. If you were dealing with a true son of God then they would not be calling him a liar. I am sorry if I seem to s**t all over the shadow of doubt you guys seem to be casting. I will tell you this right now, if the source is lying, then it is not God, the source would want you to believe that though. The Devil has disguised himself as light many times and decieved many. Plus, to say there is no God is to say you don't exist, because even if you do say your parents, who brought your parents here, and your parents parents, and keep going further and further and further back, and you will find that it had to start with something. Which in the book of revelations and in various places in the D and C God very clearly states that he is the beggining and the end. Now, there is more than one God. Yes, there is. But as for exact information a lot of that information is not to be trusted with humanity.
Don't bother asking me, because I don't know much in that area, and even if I did I can only share what information i'm allowed to share.
So, right here, right now, I am now grabbing a shovel to clear up all the bullshit getting spread around. Any questions?

I didn't way anything about that. Purely objective information from me. I don't want to get into the argument about the gods... *backs away slowly*
Not aimed at you Azana, relax.

...

*slowly peeks out of hiding*..I just came here for discussion and debate purposes. Please don't hurt me?

I don't recall ever stating that there was or was no God. In fact, my first post in this thread was one with a slightly skeptical tone with regards to some of the things FLCL guy was speaking of. In my opinion, there is something out there, but whether it is the Christian God or not is debatable. I try to keep an open mind. sweatdrop

Though, I do have a question with regards to something I saw in a meditation once. I had ended up getting myself into a really profound meditative state a year ago and I saw an angel..though..I'll explain much better.

It all started off by me seeing this gorgeous land. I had somehow gotten the impression that it was a world untouched by humans. Anyway, I saw an angel in this land. He was the only living thing that I actually saw other than lush grasses and gorgeous leafy trees. He had dark, curly hair. His hair reached to about the nape of his neck, but it didn't look untidy in the least. His wings had three colors: a small patch of black at the tip, followed by a broad band of the richest blue imaginable then with rich violet colored flight feathers. I don't remember what kind of robe he was wearing. Anyway, he drew his wings in towards himself..almost like he was shielding himself or something. He began to slowly spread his wings again, and as he did, everything was flooded with this pure, brilliant, white light. The light just began to radiate from the angel and it engulfed everything. It had an amazingly high intensity as well. So much so that it actually hurt a little, which made me break my concentration and lose the state I was in. When I did snap out of it, my aura felt like it was vibrating differently. It was really strange.

I've no idea what that meditation vision-y thing meant. I've only had one other instance where my aura did that crazy vibration-y thing, and that was after a dream.

Any ideas what that vision thingy meant? Sorry if that was irrevalent..But it did sorta have to do with angels..soo.. ninja

In heavene there is no night, the light is God. So, for the light to have been so bright, it probably just means that God is pleased with yopu or you just hit a particularly high level of heaven, or you just ran into an angel

Well, the light came from the angel. As I've said, the light only appeared after the angel brought his wings infront of him and then slowly spread them.

I just thought that I'd ask about if the brilliant light that the angel had seemingly sent my way was significant of anything.

There's no nighttime in heaven? That's spiffy. As for the possibility for me having reached a higher level of heaven..is that really possible? I would thnk that the higher levels would be massively uber hard to access. I'm guessing that the higher levels of heaven are those which house the Seraphim? Do the Seraphim actually have six wings? The angel I saw only had two, but his wings were three different colors, as odd as that might sound. I could tell that he was powerful though..Even though I've no idea who he is, exactly. He's inspiration for me, in that I want to attempt painting him and the land that he's in..hoping that I will be able to do it some justice using paints. But, I've no idea what his name is..or really anything at all about him.

I've only had one other instance of seeing an angel, and that was in a dream, not a meditative state. The angel in the dream had a similar style of curly hair, just brown in color. The angel had pure white wings and blue eyes, if I remember correctly. He dressed in robes of red and gold and his name began with a "J". I believe he told me that his name was Jason..I remember that Jason and I spoke in the dream..and it was a bizarre dream at that. For some reason, Jason didn't want to be an angel anymore and for some reason, I had this crazy fascination/obsession with his wings. He let me touch them..they were downy soft. At one point in the dream, there was mention of some kind of tonic or something that could make him human..or something like that. It was an odd dream..and I regret not remembering more of it.

The dream could have been fabricated by my crazy imagination or something..but I know that what I'd seen in that meditation was definately more than some imagined thing.

Do colored wings mean anything in particular? Is it an indication of rank or something? Or is it just something that certain angels have and that others do not?

Well, thought I'd bring us back up...my friend's girlfriend claims to also be angelic, though she isn't fully awakened yet. It's good to know another one, though.

Also, I've been doing my best to work on my humanity, but all the stupidity, ignorance, and brainwashing I see really makes me dread being one of them...I guess I just need to surround myself with the good variety, the academics, the magical, the psis. Or at least people willing to believe.

At least my love is magical...and extremely open-minded. Still, I haven't told him about my angelic nature. I'm not sure how he'd take it...
