Her prayers stopped for a moment, as she glanced over at Toroki. Now that she was a bit more centered, more calmed, Noriko was able to explain what happened. Drinking some of the tea, she smiled softly. "I was in the National Library in Tokyo, Japan. One of my friends was looking at a book for one of her classes, when a light appeared around all of us. When I woke up, I was here." She took another sip of the tea, as she mulled over what was going on. From the way it sounded, it seemed to her that she might be in a book. But, that was silly.

"So you find yourself in a different sort of place altogether? You are now in Byakko Village, in the country of Sairou. We have a legand that says 'When the country is on the brink of destruction, the Priestess of Byakko will appear from another world, and she will gather the Seven Stars of Byakko and save us.' Now the Seven Warriors of Byakko are charged with protecting the Priestess. It sounds that this book is the portal to get to this world from yours. That would make sense from what your saying." Toroki seemed to be thinking, "If the legend is true, then the fastest way to get you home would be to find all the warriors."

Fang-Yin clasped her hands behind her back and smiled at him. "But you're talking to me." She looked back to the road ahead, still grinning. "And if you didn't want to interact with me, you could very well have saved me and walked me home in silence." She shook her head a bit and began rummaging through her basket, making sureshe had everything she had been sent to get.

Taking another sip of her tea, Noriko paused. The name of the country, and the mention of Byakko were so familiar... too familiar. Wait, didn't Shinsei-chan's great grandmother mention Byakko once or twice? No, I'm sure she did! Does that mean... oh my... Shaking her head a little, still a bit shocked if this really was the case. "I've heard the legend before. However... the Priestess of Byakko came to Sairou a long time ago. I don't know if there can be more than one Priestess..."

Toroki nodded, "Yes it is true the priestess Suzano appeared almost 300 years ago, but the priestess appears in the generation the warriors appear. The world has been in a declining state, the sun does not set, there is no rain, and there are far more men then woman being born. I think the priestess has been called here to fix that. I think that's you Noriko."

Fang-Yin smiled a bit at his comment. "I don't think anyone does. Maybe he grew up in a bad environment..." She looked through her basket a bit more and frowned. "I was making sure I had everything for dinner, but I forgot the fish..." (I don't remember if she had any or not... oh well... razz )

Nai looked at her, and then said. "If you want I have some extra at my home, I could give you some." He didn't know why he seemd so much to help her, but he wanted to help her none the less.

Fang-Yin simply beamed at him. "You'd do that? I'd be so grateful!" She was indeed, very grateful, just for the offer, but she wouldn't just accept. "Is there anything I can do?" She knew he didn't accept anything in return for saving her earlier, but it was a common courtesy to at least ask.

Fang-Yin smiled at him. "Alright. Thank you, very much." She walked alongside him for a moment. "And if you ever need anything, well, you know where I live now, so don't be too shy to ask, okay?" Either this guy was complety content with his life, or a monk. It didn't matter, as long as he knew she was grateful.

They reached his house and Nai never answered her promise. He walked threw his shoep which was a outsdie Blacksmithing forge and then went in to his house, He grabbed some fresh fish off his wall, and handed it to her. "here will this do?" he asked her as he closed his door.

Fang-Yin looked over the fish for a moment and grinned broadly. "Yes, this is wonderful!" She let out a content sigh and placed it in her basket. She smiled a bit more to herself and looked back to the man for a moment. "You're SURE there's nothing I can do for you?" It was all too hard to believe he didn't want anything in return.

Noriko paused as she heard what had happened. It didn't seem possible, really. The rain part, while peculiar, did happen every once in a while, but the actual movements of the celestial bodies being halted. She had never heard of that happening. She lowered the cup of tea to her lap, as she thought it over. "That doesn't even seem possible. Never have I heard of such a thing occuring. A drought, yes, and a low rate of birth certainly. But, the sun not setting. If that is truely the case, then I must help." Smiling softly, she added rather quietly, "But, I really would like to find my friends as well. If I am here, then they must have been brought in here also."

Toroki smiled, "Of course we should try to find them. But first, we should make arrangements to go to Seidou, the Capital city of Sairou and see the Emperor. The Byakko Shinzaho, that's a holy relic from our first priestess, and an item that can help you locate the other warriors, is all located in a shrine in Seidou." She got up and went to the door, "Chin! Let me know immediately when the Lord arrives back from his tour of the city, and start making preperations for a journey to the capital!"
