Christian would go to Edge, lowering himself and attempts to drive Edge back first into the barricade.

Now that he had taken control of the situation, Edge would quickly attempt to knee Christian's abdomen before subsequently attempting to slam his head into the barricade.

Christian after taking the knee to his gut and then being slammed into the barricade would fall to all fours.

Edge would approach Christian and attempted to stand him up so he could Irish whip towards the nearby steel steps!

Having his own momentum used against him meant that Edge would crash into the steel steps shoulder-first, detaching the top portion of the steps! After crashing into the steps, he'd sit down with his back on the steps, and the top portion of the steps resting besides the bottom half.

Edge would breathe heavily, groaning a bit after hitting the steps with full force. He'd slowly get to his feet, favoring his shoulder and forearm.

Christian attempts to slide Edge back into the ring, and if successful, gets on the apron and begins to climb the most reasonable turnbuckles.
