That sounded nice, but he thought he was scaring her. oh well, might as well. "Sure, he patted his side." He bet it would feel nice, being close to her that she was laying her head on him, that would make him very happy to be honest. he didnt understand why, but he liked the idea. "Are you ready to hear this book?"" He laughed, this book is nothing like what he read, he liked Stephen queen books. best horror writer ever.

He started reading the book for her. throughout the reading, they both kept blushing, some things seemed familiar. time passed as he read the book. he looked at the clock,. "Oh my Gods! It's 6 30, we have been doing this for more then 5 hours!" But they both were so drawn into the story. he put the book down, more than halfway through the book. He looked at her. "This is actually a good read. How are you liking it?"

He took out the grill and the legs of the grill that go around the fire pit so he could cook the meat, and put them together, then placed the grill over the fire. he then went back into the den to spice up the meat and prepare the sweet potatoes. after he was done, so he brought out the food in a basket, then placed the sweet potatoes on first, they have a lot longer then the steaks will need. he was going to cook the steak last, and make it medium rare. shes going to love it! he then realised she wasnt by the fire, he looked around, seen her leaning on the snow man. he walked over to check on her. when he reached her,

"Oh..... dont worry, a beautiful kind hearted good girl like you will find someone, they will be all on your case. you will wish they would go away, just so many guys will fight to the death to be lucky enough to have a girl like you. trust me." why was it like a knife in the gut when he said that. what the hell is going on, why am i so miserable on this topic? he gave her a big hug. "You have to know how great you are, ive had more fun these past few days then ive had in a long time. you think a guy is going to not notice that? your the closest think to perfection!!!!" he couldnt believe he just said that, but thats how he feels, she will find someone soon no doubt. then he will be here all alone, he was the one who was going to die alone....... why am i so sad, tears formed in his eyes, was he feeling sympathy for her? must be.

He hugged her back. "If that were true, why are we both crying?" He said softly in her ear. They hugged and cried for a good 20 minutes. it was just so relaxing being held by her, he didnt want to let go, but he had to, or she would freak out. "the sweet potatoes are almost done, lets go back to the fire and relax. and just focus on cooking, we can get back to the book when we are done reading, i bet we can finish it tonight. " He sighed then poked the sweet potatoes. "yup, they are done, lets start cooking the steaks." He placed the steaks on the grill, 5 minutes on one side, 5 minutes on the other, browned the edges, and they were done. "okay, lets eat, oh shoot, I forgot the plates!"

He used the spatula to put the steak on each of their plates, then placed a sweet potato on each plate. they ate, slowly. he wondered if his mom would understand? mom knows everything, and will help them find their true loves. well he had to look on the bright side, he has an amazing sweet caring and beautiful beyond belief best friend with him. some people dont have friends, he didnt have friends till her. he was grateful for that. he smiled at her. "You know you look so cute holding the sweet potato and nibbling it." he let out a laugh. "Who needs a soulmate when you have the best best friend in all of the land." that thought, the thought that she was in his life, that made all the sadness go away.

he finished everything and was ful. "Oh i have milk, you want some? its fresh, got it the day i met you. he smiled, he was thirsty, he had some drinks, like orange juice and lemonade. both home made if she didnt want milk. he made the juice this morning, oh and he had fresh water too, the lake that they fell into is fresh water. he bottled it daily, gotta keep hydrated. he really wanted to get back to the book, it looked cheesy, but it was actually a good read. "I also have juice if you prefer that. i have water too. drink as much as you want, ok?"

"Sorry, had to go to the bathroom" he admitted, then went into the fridge and had a glass full of milk. he placed the cup in the sink, and ran some water in it. "Okay here I come, he jumped onto the comfy bed, let her lay her head on him, and read.

He read the last page and now they have done it, it was so good! "Okay, I'm going to have to admit i like romance stories. we need to get another for tomorrow, same place. you know if you dont want to learn to read, i rather love reading to you, i could do that for you." he offered her.
