 She finished smelling it. "Okay okay, I will eat it!" She laughed, then took a bite, her mouth filled with sweet and salty taste, it was so good. She chewed, was this for real? can a veggie taste so good???? She swallowed and she giggled. "This is the best veggie I have ever had, the honey and salt mix so well with the natural taste of this sweet potato." She took another bite. Oh Gods, I could eat this forever. She watched him eat it, he was so adorable, she didn't want to leave in a couple days. Maybe she could get his help to build a den for her nearby? He had shown her something no one has, kindness, something she now known is something she loved receiving.

He smiled and glad she loved the sweet potato, this was so fun, he wondered if she liked to read? "Do you like to read? I have a ton of books, I like getting scared, so I read horror, you can read some of my books, if you want, you can barrow them, I don't mind, I read them all." He smiled at her, he needed to visit the book store next time he went to visit his mothers and sister. He couldn't help but yawn, it was getting late. He hoped she was getting tired too, he had spare blankets and pillows, he was exhausted.

"Oh, errr, um......I never learned how to read...." She felt so dumb, she was uneducated, she hoped he wouldn't think less of her. "I'm sorry...." Her eyes started to tear up, he probably thought she was so dumb. She couldn't even look into his eyes, she was so ashamed, was he judging her? Why does everyone judge her? Can't she just enjoy herself for once?????

"Oh no no no, don't cry, I will teach you to read, don't feel bad, there's nothing to be ashamed of it. I find teaching fun, I will help you until you can read confidently." He walked over to her and hugged her. "It's okay dear, soon you will be addicted to books! You are smart, you will pick it up fast, and if you don't, that is ok as well, i would love to teach you." He looked at her face to face, he wiped away her tears. "Please, smile, you look so pretty when you smile."

She managed a smile. "You don't think it is too late for me to learn?" She straightened up and looked into his eyes, Could he really teach her to read? This was so exciting, she was always fascinated about books. She yawned, but was excited, soon she will be reading books, what a great day this day turned out to be,

As she looked into his eyes, he couldn't help but see how beautiful they were. "It is never too late to learn how to read, but I want you to know it will make me very happy that I can help you get into books." He yawned again. "I'm getting tired, are you? I can make up my bed on the ground, and you can sleep in my comfy bed." He smiled at her, why did his heart start beating fast after he looked into her eyes? Oh well, whatever it was, it will pass.

"That sounds good to me." She smiled. "And thank you for offering to teach me, I will accept that. You are my hero." She joked, she was so grateful for flying into him, best thing that could have happened. "This has been the best day of my life so far!" She was ecstatic about having him as a buddy, her first real friend!

"You think today was fun? Just wait till tomorrow!" He joked He walked up to the fire and started kicking snow into the fire until it was out. "Let's get into our beds and sleep, if you don't mind." He was very happy today, he hoped tomorrow would be just as good.

"Okay!" She followed him to his den, she really liked his tails, she wished she had long beautiful tails. he was an amazing friend. What would tomorrow bring? Probably more fun, she had to admit, he was fun, she had a big smile on her face.

He made up his bed, and put two pillows down too. There, all ready for bed. He laid down under the covers and rested his head on the pillows. "Good night Pixi." As he laid in his bed, a ping in his heart. What was that? Then he realised he really enjoyed cuddling with Pixi, He wished they could do it again, but he didn't want to seem needy, but what he would give to hold her again. Oh well. He thought then fell asleep.

She climbed into the bed, he was already asleep, he looked so cute sleeping. She got under the covers. she smelled his scent on the blanket and pillows, which made her think of them cuddling. Why did she feel lonely? Her heart pounded, she remembered how nice it felt to hold someone. Whatever her body was going through, she was exhausted and she passed out.
