Thora ZeusThora went back to eating, trying not to get too involved with the happenings around her. Of course, she was still paying attention, just in case that odd tentacle-faced being would attempt something again. Her heart was pounding faster as she still tried to contribute something to the conversation, not wanting to be a stick in the mud. Afterall, her ego wouldn't allow her to be fully ignored. And now when Morry wasn't around, she was feeling a little better. "Looks like some people have never heard of sparring...I'm 17, by the way. This will be my last year at this orphanage. As for news, saw some new guy walk in here with a bunch of coffee cups for some reason..."

AnotherAngelForS The Fool "Help help help help help help help help." Name:Leo Emotion: Calm Thoughts: "...?"
Leo sighed as he watched Aiden give him an annoyed look and shook his head. He'd get through to him yet. Until he saw the little shrimp bust out laughing as he was struck by Thora. "Oh. So you found that funny huh?" He chuckled and started to answer Liliths question. That was when he had noticed Aiden had once had looked his way, albeit a glance, and spurt out fifteen as if unsure. He decided to take matters into his own hand. Walking over to Aiden, he placed a head onto his head regardless of what would happen. "Actually, I'm pretty sure Aiden here is confused, he was just dropped off afterall. I'm sure the journey here was tough. Looking at you, my brother would've been about your age. So.. 8 or 9?" Smiling, Leo then looks at Thora and nods. "I've also just returned to the orphanage.. and I've been going around trying to talk to people. Met Thora here first, and then saw magic coming from the windows here outside and met you two. Oh, three. I forget you're here DV."

~Aiden Pierce~At Lilith's assurance that she was smaller than him at 15, Aiden sighed lightly in relief. He was off the hook. Until that boy Leo just had to offer his two cents. The small child tried unsuccessfully to lean away as the older boy's hand came toward his head for a demeaning pat. How dare he pat him like some dog! And to say that he's confused because of a tough drive?! Ridiculous! Immediately, the child would slap Leo's hand off of his head, his eyes throwing daggers his way. He'd then cross his arms in disapproval, "Hmph! You don't know... Maybe I'm not like you and your stupid brother. Maybe I'm like her," he'd growl as he nodded toward Lilith before proceeding to stick his nose in the air as if he were better than Leo. If he'd learned anything from his very short time at the orphanage, it was that there were all sorts of strange species here, so just maybe he could pass for an elf or one of the other weirdoes with superpowers that might age different too.

Lilith EclairDV: He can be like you if you just let me try with the boy-Lilith: We've already discussed this, we are NOT going to turn him. We don't know how it'll affect him especially with his demon.DV: Such a killjoy.Lilith: Maybe when he's older and if he learns magic, he'll have a better chance of controlling it rather than it controlling him.DV: Sounds good to me.DV: "Sparring is fun and all, but it dulls your senses from real danger. There is no intent to kill from either side so you fall into a false sense of safety because you do not have to fear for your life. I have seen many people die from failure to respond to an actual threat to their lives because they got comfortable with sparring without putting their lives on the line. Like a deer caught in headlights, unforseen danger shocks the body and clouds your mind from making the right judgement. It prevents you from making full use of your talents and your abilities. Just a small piece of advice, no need to take heed if you choose not to listen to the ramblings of an old man." Lilith: "You know, now that you mention that, I've lost count of how many times you almost got me killed because I had to fend for myself with your training." DV: "It has served you well has it not?" Suddenly the whole room disappears and darkness completely engulfs the surroundings. Before the light disappears, anyone paying attention would have seen Dream Visitor return to his original imposing figure of around 7 feet tall with his left arm extended towards Lilith head while a dark ominous ball of energy forms on the palm of his hand. Murderous killing intent on full blast emanates sinsterly from his huge figure spreading out to everyone nearby. A quiet piercing sound almost like a very fast arrow flying by rings out in the air before the darkness fades away as quick as it came. Peace returns as if it had never departed in the first place. The killing intent evaporates and the chill very quickly dissipates. Lilith: "That's very cute. I can read you like an old worn out spell scroll." She has her middle finger sticking out in front of her gestured towards DV while the spell he shot at her floats inches away from her hand. It appears as if it's trying to force its way towards her but is being held back by an unseen force. Space distorts around the dark ball violently until Lilith reaches out to it and crushes it in her hand. Raucous laughter echoes in the kitchen as DV shrinks back to his small diminutive form: "Perhaps I am getting too old." Lilith: "Don't do stupid things like that while we're in here, please. You're supposed to be the adult." DV still quietly chuckling: "Apologies, just a small amount of mischief." Lilith turns to the children: "Where are the teachers anyway? Or the other staff? I've only seen a really tall and skinny shady looking guy who was with the really busty nurse in her office when I brought Aiden in for a checkup. Even Headmaster Murdoch is MIA as usual."

The Fool "Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die For Me." Name:Leonardo Emotion: Content Thoughts: "...good."
Having his hand swiped away, Leo let out a smirk with his demeanor changing. He returns a glare back at Aiden. "..of course you're not like him. You couldn't be anyways... you're still alive." Putting his hand down and turning towards Lilith and DV he watches as the Kitchen goes completely dark. A sudden flashes happens and all Leo can see his Lilith flipping off DV as he starts to laugh. Black feathers appear around him as he involuntarily brought one out and immediately put it away. Picking up a single feather still floating, Leo contemplates to comment about what just happened, he paused, composed himself and glared towards DV. "...I've killed enough." Leo walks back over towards his seat next to Thora and sits down contemplating her question. He starts to think if he should ignore it but decides to let Thora take the floor. Leo aimlessly stares at the feather in his hands.

Thora ZeusThora, still a bit freaked out over what DV had just done, had sparks flying across her fingers as she tried to keep her eyes on Lilith, just in case this paler lady tried something weird. with how long she has been here, she knew things could get strange real quick. And real dangerous as well. But as Morry was mentioned again, she would begin to grumble, hoping she could turn attention away from that nurse that she had issue with. "Sparring only leads to your death if you're stupid. Of course it's not the real thing. It's just somewhat fun training. I've kicked enough asses here to know. A-As for the teachers...I don't pay too much attention to what they are doing when I'm not in class. Just enough to get the assignments done."

~Aiden Pierce~Aiden would look back toward Leo as if slightly regretful of his word choice once the older boy made it known that his brother was no longer with the living. He too knew what it was like to lose a sibling... but he'd be too proud to ever think of apologizing. Instead, he'd hop off of the kitchen counter and onto the linoleum floor to head toward the refrigerator just before the room fell suddenly black, a dark and murderous aura engulfing the area. Entirely confused but his survival instincts still activating, the small boy would immediately drop to the floor against the counter for shelter until the light returned to the room. He'd peek around the counter at the others wide-eyed and untrusting as he tried to process what just happened. Feathers on the floor around Leo. Sparks flitting around Thora. Lilith with a middle finger aimed at the mindflayer, whose now momentarily a 7 foot tall monster and laughing his a** off. After the monster shrinks back to normal size, Aiden has maybe figured out that DV was just messing with Lilith in some weird and alarming magic person sort of way. The boy would linger momentarily behind the counter, clear distrust and disapproval in his eyes as he now glares toward DV. He wouldn't say a word, but he would internally agree with Lilith that the mindflayer shouldn't do stupid things like that... he was far too scary-looking to be playing around like that. Inside the child's mind, Lionel would giggle with delight as he teased, Boy! You almost shat yourself, Aiden! BaHaHaHaHa! That was such gold~ He had all three of you poor little babes on the edge of your seat! Are your pants dry!? Bahahaha. Aiden would glance uncertainly down at the front of his pants to indeed verify that he did not pee himself. "Hmph..." he'd snort in quiet annoyance as he held himself back from responding to the demon in his head where Leo and Thora might hear. After a good long hesitation behind the counter, the child would return to his original route toward the refrigerator, and he would help himself to an ice cream cone like the one he saw Lilith float to herself earlier.

Lilith EclairLilith: "Wait so you mean to tell me a lot of the kids just ditch the classes and wander around the orphanage? Well .. I mean that does sound about right, I never did pay attention to the boring lectures they held here so I'm not one to talk." "Thora you said you had a year left before moving on from this place, what plans do you have afterwards? Do you know anyone at all outside of the orphanage?" DV: "There are all sorts of guilds you can join if your skills are up to their standards so making a living outside of the orphanage is not totally out of the question." Lilith: "Right, we joined the bounty hunter branch of a mercenary guild for a couple of years to make a living. Gave us a lot of stipend money to travel around the world too to hunt down these criminals and drag them living or dead from the holes they've been hiding in." DV: "Funny you say alive or dead when they were all dead when we cash them in." Lilith: "It was easier to bring them in that way, plus how would I be able to sleep soundly knowing that there are monsters or criminals that can potentially escape and stab us in the back when they get the chance to?" Lilith turns to the boys: "How about you two, what plans do you have for the short term and the long term?"

The Fool "Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die Die For Me." Name:Leonardo Emotion: Content Thoughts: "...."
Leo continues to examine his black feather and sighs. Listening to the squid and Lilith speak had him question what he knew of the outside world. Simply because he never stayed in one place for long and kept looking straight ahead. He looks over at Thora, gets closer and places his hand on her cheek, parting her hair. Smiling, Leo then places his black feather on her ear and stands up. With a stretch he glances at Aiden, yet speaks to Lilith. "...I've never been to a single class. I've always wandered about and talked with the Headmaster. They've been the only one I've trusted until today." Putting away his smile, he deadpanes to Lilith and speaks up again. "...I plan to, get stronger.. and make friends. As for the future..." Leo shrugs and shakes his head. He had no clue what he'd do once he becomes of age. But he had enough time to think about it.

Thora ZeusThora couldn't help but to blush a bit again from how a feather was placed in her hair. She smiled back at Leo briefly, giving him a kiss on the cheek once again before offering him a soft hug, holding him close to her body for a few seconds. Eventually, she would let go of him and answer the question given to her. "Well, I am pretty and I can fight. I'm sure I can make a living as a martial artist. Or a model. Or a fighting model."

~Aiden Pierce~Aiden would now stand leaning against the counter, his elbows resting on the countertop as he distractedly ate his ice cream cone. He'd gaze blankly at the others in the room as they discussed the outside world and their personal plans. The boy would tilt his head and squint his eyes at the couple as they did flirty things that the small boy did not fully understand or at all appreciate. When Leo glanced his way, the child would try to quickly look away and focus back on his ice cream as if he hadn't been paying attention to them at all. The boy would take note of what Leo said though. So we don't even have to go to school here... hm. As Lilith looked to the child now for his plans, Aiden would immediately shrug carelessly. He'd never thought much about the future. He had always been trying just to survive the present. After a short pause to think, and glancing at Leo again, the 7-year-old would add, "I wanna get stronger too." He'd then glance toward Lilith as he remembered pieces of their earlier conversation and his imagination started to run, a rare shimmer of hope in his eye "...And learn magic. And fighting. And maybe play sports. And...." The boy's expression of hope would taper off to one of subtle sadness as his briefly occurring thought of gaining new family and friends would be immediately dashed by traumatic memories of his slaughtered family. The child would look down to avoid eye contact with any of the others as he finished, "...And that's it..." He'd sadly go back to licking his ice cream in an instinctual attempt to self-soothe and to hopefully distract himself from those memories he tried not to think about.

Lilith EclairLilith: "Well looks like everyone's got a semblance of a plan for the future they want to strive towards. It's wonderful to have goals for yourselves so you can keep fighting for what you want in life." "Aiden, looks like we're wrapping things up here, what do you say we take a look at the classroom? It'll be a little peek at the place where we can start your first steps towards your goal. It's a necessity to have a good environment to facilitate learning so if the atmosphere is good in the classroom, the faster you'll be able to learn how to read and perhaps learn magic and get stronger as well." DV: "Young man I do dare to say that once you learn a thing or two with magic and you continue to nurture your knowledge, sooner or later you'll become a much stronger opponent for the pest living in your head. You'll be rid of the nuisance before you know it." Lilith: "We don't want to disturb these two lovebirds with what they're doing unless they also want to follow us to the classroom." DV: I am curious about that older boy's chicken feathers. They seem to come out when he is experiencing heightened emotions. I wonder if he's some sort of mutt mixed with a featherbrained creature of some sort or if it's in his bloodline .. curious, very curious perhaps we should ruffle a few more feathers to test it out.Lilith: Let's leave it at that, your morbid curiousity has led us to more issues rather than satisfaction. You shouldn't be picking on little kids like him at your age.DV: Very well, as you wish.Lilith flies out of the kitchen looking at Aiden expectantly before floating off slowy towards the classroom[[EXIT TO CLASSROOM]]

The Fool "Help help help help help help help help." Name:Leo Emotion: Calm Thoughts: "We're not..."
Leo looked between Thora, Lilith and then lastly Aiden and formed a smirk. He tries so hard to act like an adult, that he lets sprinkles of childlike innocence leak out. He thought to himself and sighed. Although he never went to class, he only did so to avoid and all contact with adults. But, maybe he should go to a few classes and meet a few more people. Sighing once again, ignoring Thora's idea of being a "fighting model", he speaks up and looks at Aiden. Not before noticing his scowl and changing his demeanor once again. "I'm on your side." Slightly blushing, he watches as Lilith walks out of the kitchen. Are Thora and himself really lovebird's? Scratching his head, he then looks to Thora to see what she'll do. "Thora, I feel like following these two a bit more. You coming, or will you go somewhere else?"

~Aiden Pierce~Aiden would look at Leo with distrusting but slightly touched confusion as the older boy commented something about being on his side. The child wouldn't know what to say and would turn his attention to Lilith and DV as they spoke. At Lilith's suggestion to check out the classroom, Aiden would carelessly shrug but follow her lead through the tour anyhow. He'd self-consciously glance toward Leo and Thora whenever Lilith and DV mentioned his inability to read and then the pest in his head. He'd give the talkative pair an annoyed glare but say nothing so as to not draw more attention to what they said, in case the other children hadn't been paying close enough attention to notice. It wasn't exactly normal to have an extra voice in one's head, and it obviously wasn't great either that a boy his age couldn't hardly read, so obviously the 7-year-old wanted these things to be a secret! Aiden would just finish his ice cream cone as Lilith floated over to the kitchen door and glanced back expectantly. The boy would sloppily wipe his ice-cream covered mouth on his shirt sleeve and follow after Lilith, glancing curiously at Thora and Leo one more time as he went. "Fine, but I'm not running to keep up with you this time..." he'd gripe at Lilith. [[EXIT to The Kitchen]]
