Strengite just ignored Beni, maybe not the best idea but hey, at the time she was a bit busy, and working with coms were annoying. And honestly he wasn't likely to hold it against her. She completely ignored pretty much everyone else too. Focus, she wanted to focus so she knew just how to make this little goodie-goodie to pay up. Blood, energy, starseed... she wasn't picky. Honestly if she thought the woman had the money to actually make it worth it she would totally let her go with a bribe.

Actually that was a wonderful idea! The captain made a mental note to talk to Beni about just kidnapping some of the order's and holding them for ransom. Win-win in her book but she wasn't sure the logistics of it and all that crap so best field the idea with her General first. So many ideas so little time.

Her own thoughts and the sudden blast of an alarm distracted the Captain enough for the order knight to pop her right in the face, making her stagger back several steps. OW! The chaotic officer glared even as she worked her jaw and made sure nothing was broken.

"Your not dead yet now are you?" She sneered even as the alarms blared. "I thought I had cut those damn wires," Strengite gripped as the sounds got louder since it seemed damage was done to one of the other stores in the strip mall. "You guys are just like cockroaches... cant get rid of them without burning the place down." Silver eyes took in her burning building, almost bringing tears to them, before she got a hard look on her face. "I'll tell you what sparkles... I'll give you a head start. Five minutes and then I'll make myself feel better by seeing just how pretty your starseed sparkles."

Corrupt Super of the Dullahan Beatrix

Whatever that thing was, it smacked Beatrix across the face. She tried grabbing at it for a moment before turning her head to hear the dread dude calling people to head out because the party was about to get interrupted by police and crap.

Pulling back just a bit, she looked over the car to see if the lights had started to flash yet. Giving one more good kick into their side, she got up and smiled as another wave of fog rolled out. She knew that her creature would stick around even if she moved on for a bit so it would be a nice little parting gift. "They don't bite but have fun either way. Buh byeeeeee." Waving a bit with her good hand, she blew a kiss as her Dullahan appeared bear the downed page. Teleporting away into the night, she'd have to figure out what kinda knight they were soon and add them to her list of possible flavors.

Irkalla, Squire of Cosmos

The satisfaction of feeling her fist connect and seeing the startled reaction as it happened was enough vindication that those civilian self-defense classes had been worth it. Well technically it had only been one class, but as a civilian, Kathryn had learned quite a lot. Even as her hand began to sting as a result of the impact it had with the agent's face did Irkalla shake out the sensation as best as she could before she straightened. Her ears had picked up the faint strains of emergency vehicle sirens and there was a feeling that the building that was burning behind her was the target.

Almost instinctively was her first reaction to simply flee but the words that the Captain issued at her had Irkalla spinning around to catch the parting words of the threat that was directed at her. An inward scoff and that was it. Irkalla wasn't about to let this officer carry through on that threat anytime soon.

Spinning around the squire of Cosmos sighed before taking off in a dead sprint. She'd survived yet another skirmish but it would certainly take a while to bounce back it seemed.

Celadon didn't mind being boring if it meant she was left alone. She preferred it, actually, as she hissed in a breath while looking at her wound. It looked pretty terrible, like she would be suffering from that for a while.

That creepy hand was tugging at her again, and Celadon supposed the idea was to leave her there to be discovered by the first responders. She grunted as it pulled her back against the car. This was fine, she told herself; she only had to wait for the rest of the Negaverse to leave before she could drop her guise as Celadon and seek treatment as Kaðlín.

More and more of them left, until she couldn't feel them anymore. She groaned on occasion when the pain from the arrow was too much for her, but she didn't try to move. Once she felt she was clear, she was
Kaðlín again, and she was calling out for the paramedics to see her.

When they did, she knew she would be transported. She knew she would be put in the hospital. But she had hope that she would still be able to use her leg again, despite all of this.

Grieve of Grieve

No one followed her up, proving it the best route to temporary safety for the moment, but she couldn’t see ******** that was happening down below. Sense a lotta chaos. Sensed a lotta order. Heard some scuffles and s**t talk. There was a tension to it, a plan coming to its fruition? But then she heard alarms. Then sirens, and she started laughing. Then ******** coughing because the roof was still full of smoke and getting worse by the minute.

Patiently, she waited until the chaos signatures slightly dispersed their circle, until a path was open enough for her to jump down from the building and sprint away, a yellow blue passing the flashing lights of arriving Earth police and whoever else came when a civilian alarm was sounded. Grieve coughed as she ran, and she laughed too. What a ********’ disaster of a situation.

Not the burning building. That was always gonna be a mess, even without the chaos agents and corrupt senshi. You get a ******** powered rabble together without any plan or organization, it’s gonna be a ********, even if the sole purpose is something simple, like unlocking a door.

The real disaster was Earth. Having to fight chaos while keeping such battles secret from the civilian population. Chaos having to do the same, even if people claimed they had control over the rest of the damn planet. The secrecy really ********’ hindered and protected both sides, huh?

Maybe it protected this Cosmos forsaken (or overly beloved) rock. Maybe that’s part of why it was the sole survivor of whatever had taken out even its own damn moon. THAT specific moon. Glancing up at it, Grieve slowed to an easy jog and then a walk as the sirens and signatures were left well behind. Eventually she stopped all together, and keeping eye contact with the white moon, coughed up a lungful of smoke and phlegm.

“Well that was fun.”
