Candy may have fled, but when cornered she didn't cower. She glared up at Steve and was about to retort when the smack rang out. A silent hush fell on the audience in the wake of the smack. They weren't appalled that he'd stuck her, even Candy knew she had it coming. But the way her eyes grew wide, and welled up with moisture, the glowing red handprint left behind on her cheek, and the pout on her full lips instantly won the audience over in her favor.

Through the silence Grace's voice rang out, "You Skeevy Jerk!"

Like a bolt of lightning Grace was up dashing across the ring. She jumped to the second rope, stepped to the top, and then leaped off of the top rope, soaring into the air in a backflip.

Grace came diving out of the air directly at Steve!

The worst ideas often have the best intentions, and even when they don't work out, they are often spectacular. Grace's dive was perfect, she slammed into Steve crumpling him under her. It was a bad idea because it took as much out of her as it did Steve, who was not her opponent. It was spectacular because holy s**t! It almost looked as if Grace could fly!

She lay there motionless for a moment, but was roused quickly by Candy. "Gracie! Gracie get up! Why would you do that?!"

"I know." Grace winced as she laughed, "but it was really fun!"

Grace gave her a thumbs up as she shakily got to her feet with Candy's help. Oblivious to the excited cheers in her favor once more, for now.

Grace may have been back up like Christina, but unlike her, she was still woozy from her dive. Grace pulled herself up to the apron, and had to climb through the ropes. She knew she was in a perslous position, but she refused to sit away from it. She was ready for Christina's retaliation.

She wasn't ready for Christina's retribution. She spotted her punkish opponent coming at her and tried to reverse her course, but with one leg still outside the ring, and the other on the top rope, she wasn't in much of a position to defend herself, and she hesitated. That cost her as her opponent found an easy headlock and and easy spike DDT. Grace just found herself crashing into the mat.

Dazed from the impact of the spike DDT, Grace gave no resistance. Christina's leg drop connected and forced a wheeze out of Grace. She cluched her chest, and kicked her feet wildly. She would have tried to roll away, but the DDT left her too out of it still.

Grace was easy enough to stand back up, she offered no resistance and with a little guidance made it to a pair of wobbly feet. She would likely have been even more unsteady were it not for the weighted boots she wore. Grace nodded to Christina's administrations, she was woozy but she would keep fighting. To prove this point she aimed a slow kick at Christina's stomach.

Grace was almost shocked that her kick connected, she was used to Emiko's uncanny ability to avoid her attacks, she'd almost forgotten what it was like to catch your opponent off guard. The shock caused a moments hesitation because she hadn't planned for if it worked. Thinking quick Grace tried to whip Christina into a corner, and follow her there just to throw her back into the center of the ring with a monkey flip.
