 Mezcla finally managed to drag himself out of the water and give a good shake. The weight of the water on his fur felt uncomfortable out of the water and he needed it to get the heavyness off quickly. He noted the sand also clung to his wet paws awkwardly. It occurred to him that he needed to hide himself so he focused on his illusion, conjuring up a human illusion to hide behind so he could safely search without being found out.

Bittersweet Contradiction When Mezcla finally enters the Shrine under an illusion of a human, he hears a loud noise from within the courtyard as something falls over and breaks. Turning to see what happened he catches a glimpse of fur that quickly vanishes in some bushes near what appears to be a broken bottle or something similar.

She swam to shore, seeing as the dingy was full. Which was fine for her. Once on the shore she assumed her illusion of a smallish woman with dark hair and some light blue streaks within it. Wearing what looked to be a very pretty blue yukata with some floral designs on it. She looked very pretty and blended in well. As they approached the shrine area that's when she smelled it. Some sort of glorious food was tickling at her nose and she was careful to head over to where it was. Even more careful to grab the dipped banana and fold it into her illusion so no one was the wiser as she ate it.

Wandering about the shrine while secretly munching away at her dipped banana, Galatea felt herself grow tired. She found a good spot to sit under some shade of a tree away from others but where she could keep an eye on her fellow Makitsu.

Lorelai rested for a bit on the way up to the main shrine. The path was longer than she expected, and taking a long break wouldn't hurt, right? When she felt recovered, there was still some time in the day to do some investigating, so she crept quietly through the shrine area. Perhaps there was something she could discover today... But the food stalls were more enticing. A delicious smell crept up Lorelai's nose, and her stomach rumbled. She stopped at the shaved ice stall and picked out a blue raspberry treat to snack on.

Close hid and turned herself into a human and continues to search, it wasxa long way up to the shrine, she dug around then fond a cherries blossomed tree with a hole in it, she looked in.

The dipped banana was good but still her stomach hungered for something else. She was a sweet tooth kick it seemed as she escaped from her spot away from others and carefully made her way around until she saw the taiyaki. Once again, she was careful to make sure no one was looking at her before she grabbed one and carefully blended it into her illusion. Yum.

As she ate her taiyaki, she got a weird feeling. Something that made her fur stand on end. She tried to keep calm and not break her concentration on holding her illusion.

Feeling as though someone was staring at you made you get a weird feeling. Looking slowly around, you finally makes eye contact with a dark skinned priestess with jet black hair and dark eyes which was in stark contrast with her traditional miko outfit. The priestess was glaring at Galatea with an almost murderous intent. She begins to walk towards you but has to stop as a small group of tourists walk between you two, breaking her line of sight. Might be a good idea to find somewhere else to hide for now.

Amia watched as some of the priests and priestesses went about their business, it looked like they were getting ready for the Shrine to be opened. It seemed she was no concern to them, which was certainly fine to her, it meant she was blending in well with her illusion. She heard what sounded like a horn going off, meaning the first ferry had arrived, allowing her to weave between the tourists and pilgrims, when they got here. As she was thinking what she might find, she winced in pain, something was cutting into her paw. She bent down carefully, to see what she had stepped on, coming back up with a piece of something. On inspection, it looked like some kind of porcelain, broken off from something. It looked mostly white, with a little bit of silver. She carefully brought it into herself, to place safely in a bag she had tucked away on her person. She would have to show Tadashi what she found, when they saw him tomorrow morning. Now, to keep looking around.

Mezcla was wondering what he might come across when he entered the shrine. Maybe he'd spy a clue that had been overlooked before, or find someone who knew something they didn't. He was humming to himself as he considered all the potential ways he could solve the mystery when he head the sound of something breaking. He whipped around without even thinking about movement and caught sight of fur. His curiosity was piqued and he carefully and quietly as he could manage moved towards where he had seen the fur disappear towards, barely sparing a passing glance at the broken object. He thought about calling out to his comrades but didn't want to alert the creature that he had spied them so he waited on that.

Cloe changed her form into a beautiful person and entered the shrine, she was confident in these forms she took on because she has been practicing magic. she looked around and found something behind one of the candles lit inside.

As Kokonoi drew closer to the shrine, he used his magic to cast an illusion over himself to appear as a human. He probably put more thought into how he wanted the illusion to look than he needed to, but appearances were important to him. Couldn't wander around looking like a loser could he? Once that was set, he got to searching the area.

Lorelai strode through the shrine in her disguise looking for anything of interest. Maintaining the illusion of a human form was taxing for her, but she was managing.
She listened in on a conversation, ears perked intently. What were they talking about?
