Well, Cartwright had outsmarted him. Despite this also throwing Cartwright into indirect fire, Trent was going to sustain most of the damage from this
BANG!
Smoke would engulf both men as a big thud would be heard after the following explosion. Once the smoke had settled, it would show that Trent had completely collapsed face first onto the mat, having all senses knocked out of him. Leaving him a discombobulated and slightly toasted mess near the edge of the ring.
JR: BAI GAWD KING. ONCE AGAIN, ANOTHER NASTY EXPLOSION, BUT THIS TIME IT WAS TRENT WHO HAD RECEIVED THE BRUNT END OF IT!
King: Despite Trent deserving it for putting the Boss through it earlier, I still wouldn't wish anyone to go through something like that! Even you, JR!

Cartwright waves his hands around in the air as the crowd shouts FIVE!
The Boss clears the air of smoke so that he can have a look around.
JR: "What is he looking for King?"
King: "I think Cartwright wants to escape the ring and leave Trent alone inside it!"
Cartwright looks at the barbed wire ropes that Trent had made contact with, they still look extra sharp and dangerous!
The crowd boos as Cartwright forces the ringside crew to quickly throw him some thick gloves to wear, so he can hop on to the apron and over the exploding barbed wire tables on to the ramp!

Cartwright was looking to get out of here as fast as possible. But despite what had just happened, something insane had just happened.
Trent would grab on to the leg of Cartwright. Clinging on to it. When the camera would pan in on Trent's face, he looked like he was completely out of it, but he was holding on for dear life and even yanking on the leg to keep Cartwright in the explosion since he couldn't evade it himself.

THREE!
Cartwright uses his glove covered hands to grabs hold of the top barbed wire rope.
Cartwright is just about to make the big jump over it but then he feels a tug that stops him from lifting-off.
Cartwright looks down to see that Trent has a hold of his leg, now it is he who is determined to keep them both inside the ring!
In a panic, Cartwright looks to stomp at Trent with his free foot until he releases his grasp!

Trent would continue to hold on for dear life, despite getting his head almost completely caved in by the multiple stomps. He was in a different mode at this point and completely running on auto pilot.
King: Trent, let go! You're going to kill the boss!
JR: It's very obvious that regardless of what Trent gets put through, the last thing on his mind is letting go!

Cartwright can't understand how Trent is holding on as the crowd chant ONE!
Cartwright is forced to cover his head with his arms and prepare for the worst!
JR: "I'm getting under the announce desk for this!"
King: "Hey, has anyone seen JR?!"

 Sirens would start to blare. Trent had held on long enough and now he could release and try to protect himself as he would let the pyrotechnics do the rest of the work for him. ZERO
BANG!The whole ring would completely explode, leaving even ringside in smoke. The whole crowd feeling the repercussive blast that would push itself outward from the ring. Leaving everyone to only imagine how the two men inside of the ring were in this moment. Seconds would turn into minutes as slowly the smoke would dissipate. Trent still on the mat, out of this world. But what would have happened to Cartwright when the blast occurred!

Cartwright lay sprawled on the mat, his body splayed in a star shape, while his thick gloves, once covering his hands, were now charred remnants from the explosion!
Crowd: "HOLY POO!
HOLY POO!
HOLY POO!"

Trent would look up around him. Barely able to make up anything surrounding him as he had a ringing in his ears. The explosion completely took a lot out of all of his senses for the moment, but the apron protected him from the blast itself. Meanwhile, Cart wasn't as lucky. He was standing and basically right next to where a lot of the blast was. Completely taking him out.
Trent would see in his fuzzy vision a larger mass. It must have been Cart. He slowly began to crawl towards the mass. Trying to throw a hand over for the cover!

Trent uses all the energy that he can muster to crawl towards Cartwright, who looks to have been left smoking from the explosion.
Trent drapes a hand over Cartwright, the referee outside the ring acknowledging it as a pin.
ONE!
TWO!
NO!
Cartwright limply lifts an arm and the shoulder up!

JR: I can't believe this!
King: Oh my god, he's still alive!
JR: Not only that King, but this match is still going!
Cartwright would throw the shoulder up, surprising the world with the kick out. Trent who's arm was shoved off of his opponent, could be visibly confused at what just happened. Of course means beyond what he has went to before would not be enough. Not to stop this losing streak and not enough to get rid of this weight that's been following him. This wasn't enough.
Trent began to slowly get back to a kneel, pushing his hands against the carcass of Cartwright in order to do so.

Cartwright is clearly hurting as Trent pushes off of his body to get to a knee, but he has to follow up, he can't let Trent show him up!
Not now and not ever!
Cartwright uses only what is available to him, the mat he is on, to push himself up on to all fours and then positioning himself on his knees.
Cartwright defiantly motions with both hands for Trent to bring it, his chest more bloody and his face a mess!

Cartwright had to look big. It wasn't in him to look like the smaller man. Even if it would cost him everything. Trent would look to shove the face of Cartwright. His blood was beginning to boil the more he looked at the Brit

Trent would give Cartwright what he wants by angrily shoving his face, riling him up in the process.
Cartwright looks to respond with a right hand to the face to rock Trent back!

Trent would get rocked with a nasty right, stumbling back for a moment, but instantly popping back at Cartwright with a big forearm
