The Soaring Dragon took flight, leaping from the top turnbuckle for the moonsault! As the champion came crashing down to Earth, Cyrus suddenly shifted himself, rolling out of the path of the dive.

Drako crashes to the mat instead of across the challenger, bouncing onto his back and clutching his sternum as the air is knocked out of him

Pulling himself onto a knee, the Lion looked toward the downed Dragon. He lifted himself onto his feet and quickly approached his opponent, looking to pull the champion up into the Sweet Dreams sleeper hold.

Drako finds himself while still winded, pulled up and into a sleeper hold, which might make the audience happy but the champ not so much as he struggles with nowhere to go

The fans erupted with cheers as Cyrus' rarely used sleeper hold was applied on the world's champion. He held Drako tight as he struggled in the Lion's grasp. Maintaining his grip, Cyrus would slowly turn, attempting to down his opponent face first into the canvas to transition the submission into the Dream Eater!

Drako isn't doing well in the sleeper hold, but is still aware enough to know he has to get out of it. As Cyrus turns him to transition, he finally has the slightest opening, attempting to throw a few elbows at the King's ribcage to loosen his grip, then get to the side of him to counter out with a back suplex

The King's progress was suddenly halted as Drako's elbow connected with Cyrus' ribs. A few more followed, loosening up his hold on the champion's neck. Suddenly, the Lion found himself being lifted up and slammed backward into the canvas!

Drako had a close call there. Truth be told, if Cyrus had transitioned successfully it might have been over there. The champ also remains down on the mat, however, having suffered in the sleeper long enough not to be able to pop back up again

Both men were down after the exchange. The Lion's chest rising as he breathed was the only movement coming from Cyrus. Suddenly, the King of Beast rose up in a sit-up reminiscent of Drako's legendary brother, Jarel. The Lion grinning as he did so.

the champion rolled to his side and pushed himself to a knee, only for Cyrus to sit up in a mocking faction the Drako's brother. The fans will get enough of that at Unforgiven, and Drako scowls as the lion grins, then aims to punch him in the face

The Lion laid back after getting clocked right in the jaw. He figured the champion had a better sense of humor than that. Rolling over, Cyrus would pull himself back to his feet.

Drako follows Cyrus to his feet, realizing he has to push the pace again in his own way to keep his title. As Cyrus reaches his feet, Drako attempts to catch him with a kick to the gut, then irish whip him for the ropes looking for a back body drop on the rebound

"Oomph!" The Lion ate a kick to the gut and was then launched towards the ropes, bouncing off of them, and into the back body drop! Cyrus hit the canvas, landing hard on his back.

the old combos work, as Drako just proved with a tried and true back body drop. Take that rookies. Now to keep it going as he looks to meet the challenger on the rise by lifting and dropping him with an inverted atomic drop

Cyrus was pulled to his feet once more, this time being suddenly picked up for the inverted Atomic Drop. As the Lion went up however, he'd suddenly spring up, attempting to reverse into a Monkey Flip!
