He chuckled. "Yeah night bloomers will help with the noctural patrols." he hummed. "I like...oh..." he tapped one. "Nakken. I was almost named this." he chuckled. "My mother loved this flower. Its a large flower that grows up to the skies. The petals cane be dried out and made into a good tea." he hummed. "Nakken gets my vote..."

"Nakken, I like it too," He waggled his eyebrows but said no more as they were both somewhat nakken right now. It amused him greatly. "I like the flower too. Its very pretty and will help keep me focused on caring for it. Mmm tea. I like tea." He folded the page again and tossed the catalogue away from the tub so that when he washed it wouldn't get wet. He pulled a cloth to him and started to soap it. "I don't get people who don't bath all the time its basic self care, some of those herders wouldn't know soap if it smacked them on the head."

The elder laughed as he started to wash up as well. "Not all of them can make their soap from scratch either my heart." he hummed. "Maybe we should share that knowledge? See if anyone's willing to start it up. Could be a good way to trade for goods."

"That my dear is an excellent Idea, I heartily agree and it will do my nose more good than ill." He lathered up and rinsed and did it again. He liked the aromatherapy from the frangrance that they had added to the soap, this was one of his batches and it was sea salt ozone and ocean air. It was relaxing in itself, then he soaked in the hot water in contentment.

The other male was far more a fan of floral things as he hummed in soft delight. "Yeah." he agreed as he lathered up and rinsed. He looked at his beloved. Smiling softly. It was days like this that he enjoyed. The rare days together. "Vallen...remember my old encampment I wanted to fix up?"

"Yeah, the one that is a quite a few years old right? A worthy project me thinks. Might be an excuse to leave home for a bit, so long as we can find the world's best pet sitter..though I have a few in mind, would have to send a bird to Matori to ask." He readily signed on for fix em up projects and with only a radaku or two it would be a nice secluded place to enjoy each other's company. "That place?"

Isaris nodded. "Yeah, its a few miles from here but...I could see us fixing it up." There were battle scars and it was long overgrown now with nature reclaiming its hold. "My family resting place is there..." he said softly. "I want you to meet Mother."

"I like fixing things and I would be more than honored to meet your Mother." He bowed his head respectfully. He could be serious if the time and place warranted it. His family was older now but all alive and well. His sister happily off with her mate, he wondered if they would ever have kids. He thought they would but one could never be sure.

He smiled. "I love you." he looked at him. "We should get lunch and then relax. Is there anything you wanna work on crafting wise?" he was curious what they could do in the relaxing part of their day. "Oh. I can draw out the family encampment for you."

"I love you too, more than you will ever know." He had fallen in love with Isaris while young, and happy he had done so, the older male had taken some convincing that Vallen was the one for him but in his heart he had known all along. Isaris had had a tough childhood, Vallen had made his childhood tough on his parents. He had always been overly active. "I'd like that and I need to complete your crochet scarf one of these days, I'm only 6 months behind soon winter will be here again, I also have some wood carving we could work on."
Food sounded good, his stomach grumbled.

Isaris chuckled as he got out and grabbed their matching drying robes. Something he had made to keep things cozy for them. Both males were used to dressing how they pleased inside the ranch. He hummed softly as he wrung out his long silver hair, he had kept the length of it all these years out of memory of his mother. Once he wrung it out he stepped over to his hair vanity. A small area he set up just for his hair. He brought it all up and placed it on the warming rocks he used to dry it out. Then set about using the special hair oils he was taught about. He looked ot his mate. "Can you nab my brush?"

"Of course, what were those tips for growing it out, I don't think I want it quite this luxurious, or we will both be hours long detangling." He grinned and brought the requested fluff brush to his mate, he had had it custom made for Isaris and it released knots without pulling, which was so much needed with that tangled mane of glory.

He thanked his partner with a kiss to his knuckles. "There's a special hair oil you can use. I already made a bottle for you. A few months should see some inches." He smirked as he worked the hair oils through his own hair.

Vallen smirked back. It was a good thing there were no young ones in the house yet, they would have to work on their facial control. "I dont know, I think long enough to be called long hair, cascading over my chest but not long enough that enemies in battle can wrap me around a may pole." He leaned forward and sniffed at his mate. "I like that floral stuff on you sunshine."

He chuckled as he looked at him. "Yeah, we can get you to the cascading length." he nodded. "Should be simple." he worked his hair over. Braiding it into simple braids as he finished with it.
