Okay, composure could only last so long in this type of heinous situation and so Cyril may have lost it for a moment, his whole gaze lighting up brighter than the lightning outside. "We're WHAT?" Flames flicked to life along his hands, the performer rushing to the door to try the handle for himself. Twisting it sharply he listened to the groaning protest of the lock, something obviously jammed inside that was prevent the knob from moving in their favor.

"Alright." Cyril's hand left the knob and his fingers curled into his palms as he fought to compose himself. "We'll leave through the window." It was a calm statement, but one that had him slowly turning to look at the window. What other sabotage could there be? Surely they hadn't thought about them trying to crawl out of the window.

"I'M NOT LYING, OKAY." This was bad, really bad. Selim gave the door handle a few jerks, even going so far as to brace his foot against it and pull. When Cyril came closer he stepped back hoping that his twin could figure it out if he couldn't, but spirits above were they screwed.

"Okay, okay...yeah, that'll work." They were on the first floor; it wasn't like they hadn't left from taller windows anyway. Selim had no more turned around than something slammed against the window and in that flash of lightning two sets of bi-colored eyes lit up the night before disappearing.

Selim shrieked. "I'M NOT DYING HERE, CYRIL. BURN THE DOOR DOWN."

When one was truly terrified they couldn't even scream. While Selim was shrieking, Cyril was instead forcing his body to turn away from the window with the cursed creatures outside. "Selim." He managed finally. "If we break the door down and go outside....those eyes were outside." The storm was raging outside, those demonic figures were also outside. They weren't going to stay in here and wait for something else to strike, but they also weren't going to blindly rush into a trap! Logic was clicking in, the flight or fight response slowly starting to stir to life. Cyril grabbed his blades, the daggers spinning in his fingers as he fought off a wave of terror. Walking up to the door, the hybrid kicked out it with full force and the wood groaned in protest.

Ugh! Another kick and then a frustrated grunt as he placed a heated hand against the metal of the knob. The metal started to let out a piercing noise, the brass melting enough for Cyril to push it out of the way so that he could unlock the damn thing and kick it open. "To the lobby." They were going to get answers and find out whatever in the hell had possessed this place!

At first he couldn't even process that his brother was speaking let alone to him. "...You're right." His stomach dropped to the floor. Even if they left they were damned. He didn't want to go down like this, but what use was running if there were no paths to take?

With his twin doing the work of getting them up, Selim picked up their bags. He may not have had magic, but he was handy with a dagger if need be and he had no qualms being his brother's pack mule while the magic man did his work! "Inn keeper! INN KEEPER!" Selim was going to shake that old man awake if he was still sleeping or gut him-

"Yes, loves?"

Selim nearly shrieked again when an elderly woman met them at the top of the stairs. The wife...was alive? Or was she? Spirits, she was so pale.

"So much noise for such a late hour."

Oh, spirits she was alive? Cyril took a deep breath before pointing down the hallway. "Spiders....evil spirits..." He began before going into the story, the elderly woman simply blinking at him before tilting her head in confusion.

"Ah, maybe the girls." Her husband hobbled out from behind, yawning behind a hand. "I forgot there was another family here. Are they just playin' games with handsome boys like you?" He murmured, leaning into his shifter wife. "We can just get you a different room, are ya leavin?"

"I think we'll be fine." At this point Cyril didn't know what to do, all he knew was that if there were two younglings involved in this whole situation that he was glad no one else they knew was around to remember this. His dark gaze slid towards Selim, a mixture of frustration and embarrassment in there. Well, maybe they had overreacted....but seriously a spider and glowing eyes in the dark in this place? Talk about a nightmare! He just hoped the rest of their travels would not involve creepy inns with mischievous younglings.
