He grumbled to himself that the referee was still out and he hopped down off the apron and frantically looked around. He noticed a young boy in the crowd who had a drink and he moved closer and asked the boy for it. The boy hesitated for a moment before he handed the bottle of water over.
He gave the boy a smile and a promise of an autograph as he headed back to the ring where he proceeded to dump the water on the referee in hopes to revive him.

Dougs face turned a bright red. He was loosing blood and energy as the sleeper was wrapped around his throat. Salem was a serious competitor and Doug realized that as every step of the way his opponent was cool calm and collected. Beads of sweat protruded from his forehead as Dougs eyes got sleepy, it seemed that he was on the verge of blacking out.
“Doug doug dougie doug doug”

The crowd was amped up through the ongoing chaos, both teams getting cheered as The Rugrats had made some fans in their inaugural reveal! Salem could hear parts of the audience cheering Doug on even as others were rooting for Salem to put Doug away! Erynys, meanwhile, was busy trying to get the ref's attention by waking them up with some water! "Showtime" could feel Dougie trying to fight through the standing choke, but sought not to give the man any leg to stand on as he used his near foot of height difference to lift Doug off the mat while still in the sleeper, allowing the Rugrat's own body to become dead weight and sink the strangle in even deeper! "Lookit that! Salem's hoisting him right off the ground! Can Dougie endure for his newfound fans?!"
"I dunno, J.R.! I think Doug's going on a trip to Nap Town with the 'Nightmare'!"

The referee was passed out, but that made no difference as everyone could see what was happening in the ring. Salem was using his size to his advantage as Doug was being hung, the blood leaving his head. His body was motionless as the lack of oxygen was causing his eyes to flutter. His arms becoming dead weight. This was not good.
The crowd looked around for his partner, but he was still down on the concrete. He was rocked by the brainbuster and there was no sign of movement from Ricky Rat.

He continued to douse the ref and shook him awake and eventually the referee began to come to. "Welcome back sleepy head, you still got a match to officiate." The ref blinked at him as he slowly got to his feet.

The Referee was now awake, his eyes slightly glossed over from the brutal bump he took, plus a little bit of water really letting him sparkle. And the first thing he saw was what the whole arena was stressed over for, a hanging and passed out Doug, being lifted what appeared to be over a foot in the air by the towering Salem. The referee ran over to the two men, ignoring Erynys who was in the ring and went to figure out the state of Doug.
"Doug Doug Dougie Doug Doug" Ratlled from the fans as the official grabbed Doug Rats arm and lifted it into the air.
It fell firmly to his side. The referee repeated the action.
It fell even strongly to his side. One more chance, that's what he got. The crowd now standing as Salem and Erynys we're well on their way from securing a win. The arm risen as high as the referee could bring it up and he quickly let go...
...The arm falling concretely down to the side of Doug. He was passed out, it needed to be stopped immediatley.
DING DING DING
The striped man signaled the bell to ring as it was now official. The Savage Sons had pulled off another victory over these new guys, and by KO of all ways!
