“Well, I’m sure it’s possible...” The Mauvian said in a way that certainly implied he didn’t. I mean, what could this girl know that he didn’t? Surely, she couldn’t make the terminal do anything he hadn’t…
“Hey! How did you get it to do that?”
Tama’s eyes were as wide as a cat who just caught a mouse.
Rolling her eyes at Tama, he really didn't think she had a clue, but they were dealing with magic and couldn't it be sealed into items? I mean it seemed like a plausable idea really. While this was real life, and not some movie, tv show or book, that sort of thing was possible in some works of fiction. So who knows - none of them really did...right? Though did some of them have magical items? So wasn't that sort of the same?
It didn't matter though as soo nthe answer was there - for them all to see. It had been knights, not the original senshi, who were to blame for this - all of this. The magic they were facing was what these past knights had left behind to guard this place from them.
"It seems you are right Tama." Though she still thought her idea possible, even though it wasn't the case here. "Though either answer doesn't make this situation any easier to get past." What played out for them all to witness was a learning experience of sorts, as it did show you was behind this, it seemed this place had been under attack but how long ago had this even been?
As the play by play from the past faded she took the time to look around before pointing to the door which was in view, sort of. "How do we break that down so we can pass. A jupiter sign and that P sign around it....should we attack the P signs first to leave the Jupiter symbol open to attack?" Assuming one was protecting the other and needed to be taken out first...that they needed to work it in layers. Heading towards the sheild, but not touching, she took her time in looking over it as she approached. "Any idea if we can just take it all out or how we take this down?"

“It seems so.” Tama said, though he seemed not altogether very happy for his rightness.
He stared at the terminal again. Now it had his attention, almost as rapt as when it had said his name. The two figures from the past acted out their scene, but he only had eyes on one. A knight of Cosmos. There was something about seeing a Cosmos knight that pained him. He wasn’t sure why, but his gut just about dropped out. Perhaps it was Pluto magic still that told him, silently, but ever ready.
‘You lost one of those, didn’t you?’
“If I had to guess, the P’s have to do with Pluto. That means time magic. Past, future, even stopping it all. Magic is how the storm lasted so long, if there’s any interplay at all. Who knows? That Jupiter knight may have just been mad enough that the storm lasted centuries.”
No mention of the Cosmos knight he saw in the now dead display.
Well. That had certainly done the trick hadn’t it?
Fafnir watched as his thrown stone joined the other and as they broke apart, the storm dissipated to leave only broken up ground and the side of the room hidden by the storm. He could see… a door or something, from here with a glowing dome covering it. The only way out, as far as he could tell.
“We should check out the other side now.” He said as he turned to look over the others, eyes settling on his brother as he gave Taffeite a gesture to come with him. “That looks like the way deeper into the facility, but we’re going to need to figure out how to get past that field over it. It sounds like they found something interesting on that old terminal. I wonder if it might control that forcefield. Though, it could just be more knight magic at work. I’m going to take a closer look. Yell at me if you figure anything out?”
Whatever was going on, Tama seemed excited by it. Fafnir left the cat to it and his brother to the management of the team as he headed for the door out, searching along the walls as he went for anything useful. There was already a senshi looking over the forcefield when he finally made it there and he let her have the closer position as he watched quietly behind her.

Fafnir is checking out the other half of the room and/or the forcefield over the exit
Fafnir was fine which was a relief. Helio moved away once sure his brother had no remaining after effects. He needed to turn his focus onto solving their main problem.
If it hadn’t been for Faustite’s suggestion, Helio wouldn’t have thought to toss the stones into the storm. Unlike the fiery General, Helio’s interactions with knights had been limited. He wasn’t well versed with their magic personally. So when others heeded the suggestion, the corrupt had no qualms as the stone disappeared into their current blockade. Seconds or minutes passed, it was hard to gauge when in such a heightened sense, and the storm began to dissipate depending upon the stone thrown.
Finally the storm was gone and they were able to see the other side. Helio agreed that they needed to explore this new area.
“Everyone spread out and look for anymore clues. I am not sure if this storm is gone for good or it’s just a temporary fix but we need to get through that other door.” He said as he moved as well towards the other side of the room where the newly revealed forcefield was.
He paused a moment to relay another message to Faustite. “The storm is gone with the help of those stones. We were treated to some old video surveillance. Definitely Knight magic for several allegiances and it looked like this place was found by the negaverse before.” Which was interesting since no one seemed to have information on this place. “We got a few names, Arnaud and Triss. Whatever they were doing here they were determined to finish it before whatever they were doing was finished. The storm was courtesy of a Jupiter Knight leading. We have another forcefield marked by Jupiter we are working our way through right now.”
With the update sent, Helio began to join the search. “Athenite. Do you happen to still have that ring? It had the symbol of Jupiter, didn’t it? Perhaps it will allow you to bypass or banish this forcefield?” What were the chances that ring could be a key? He looked around the forcefield and that was when he found the carved floor.
The symbols of Pluto surrounding Jupiter were curious. What did they stand for and why were they so carefully carved into the floor there? The stones would have made sense to place around the forcefield but they had been destroyed by the storm.
“Tama and Valeria, does that Terminal give you any other options now?”

He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he was glad that the choice had been taken away from him. If it had been up to him, he wondered for a moment if it would have made the situation worse. At any rate, it was now clear to cross.
The winds had calmed down and there was now a much more clear path to the other side. "We need to get going. NOW." He said, emphasizing the last part and moving to the edge of the area that they were on. They really only had one chance at this. At least in terms of getting the jump correct. If they were able to jump more than once, he wondered how long it would take the wind to start up again.
With that he took a few steps back before running up to the edge and jumping, only hoping that he made it to the other side and not falling onto the sharp pointy objects below.

Time to see if playing all of those video games and practicing jumping in those worked!
General Chambersite HP: 100/100 Chambersite 1 + 2 = 3 It appeared that the rock-throwers had done enough damage that the wind was temporarily stopped, but that didn't guarantee it would never start up again. He wasn't sure how Knight symbols and technology worked, something he would have to look into later, but if they hadn't damaged the source of the wind, then it could possibly repair itself.
With that he moved over to the edge and took a leap, hoping that he made it to the other side. As much as he wished it, he didn't have quite the jumping experience that was needed for the situation. Perhaps it was something he would have to practice back at the Castle. If he got back that is.

When Valeria [5] approached the forcefield, she noticed that the Jupiter sign had fled from the forcefield when the storm was unraveled and dispelled. Now there was simply a blank barrier standing before her. There was no terminal nearby, nor any buttons to press – perhaps the simplest solution was the first one they should try.
Fafnir [6] would note the same – there was nothing apparent about dispelling the forcefield, but perhaps the forcefield need not be dispelled. Maybe it was more like a membrane, affording one person entry but barring another. It could be that the Jupiter magic layered over top of it, obfuscating its purpose somehow, and now it was returned to normal. Or, the room was simply barred to everyone as part of the lockdown procedure they watched earlier. There was little way to find out without first touching the barrier.
"Good work," Faustite returned when Heliodor called. "It's been a minute; starting to get tired. Going to call everyone back soon."
Arsenopyrite and Chambersite were able to cross to the other side of the room without issue, granting them the opportunity to inspect the forcefield with the others. The room beyond it looked somewhat nondescript, but they could only see so far in past the static. The other room was unlit at the moment.
For now, the collection of symbols that perpetuated the storm had lost their power. They would be able to explore more freely, though there was little to say when, or if, the storm would return. Perhaps there was a way to erase the symbols, or gouge over them to prevent their recurrence, but it seemed, nonetheless, that they were safe now. All that remained was a forcefield barring their path to the next room, if it could be said that it was barring anyone.
After a time, everyone's tablet erupted with Faustite's staticky voice. "All teams, wrap up your investigations and return to the rendezvous point. Team leads, report your findings when ready. Once you return, a team from the base camp will rappel down with a resupply for everyone. Use that time to take a breather before our last descent."

“The terminal is completely dead now. It all collapsed back into the Pluto symbol. I guess it showed us all it wanted to.”
Tama said to Heliodor while listened to Faustite’s voice over the com. At least, he’s not dead. If anyone gets to kill him, it should be me after this.
“Unless we want to find another way around that barrier, I think we’re done here.”
Watching as the jupiter symbol vanished, and left just the pluto one, at the same time the storem ended Valeria wasn't sure but maybe just doing the most simple thing would work? So far whenever she'd touched something...something else had happened. Though that had been with terminals but who knew, she certainly wasn't a hundread percent sure on anything when it came to magic which wasn't her own. She wasn't even sure on her own magic fully, having never been hit with it herself.
So rather than look for something else to do, another way through the force field, she went right ahead and pressed her hand to the pluto symbols. Spreading her hand out in the hopes of touching each of the symbols if she could.
"After this, when we get out of here, we should check on everyone Arseno." She called over her shoulder to the General.

Try as she might, Valeria [3] found that she could not resuscitate the 4 symbol surrounded by P symbols. Given the location of the storm and the lightning strikes from the rocks, it seemed these symbols were solely used to create and perpetuate the storm that blocked their way. Perhaps it was a good thing that they no longer responded to anyone's touch.
Bellalunae had somehow toned out after that crazy experience and she had no idea how long for. It all must have been a little much for her brain to handle. So as she got her barring back. She was so happy to see that everything was taken care of - at least for now. They had done their job and completed this portion of the mission. Now she had to prepare for what came next. She tried to clean up her fur as best she could. She had to at least look somewhat together before she headed back to the rendezvous point. Then with a deep breath she began her trail off to the point. Where she would begin the next step in this adventure.
"here we go," she said with a smirk as she raced off.
He managed to make it over, though another forcefield remained. And unfortunately they appeared to have run out of time for the moment. Still, he wanted to make sure he took a good look around in case they had missed anything. If they didn't get into the next room, he hoped that they wouldn't be missing any important information that would give them more clues about this place. It felt like they had only been here for a few minutes, in the room at least. He wished they could have investigated longer, maybe just another day.
But he would have to do in these last few moments before their leaders forced them back to the rendezvous point. But he was determined to make sure that there was nothing he could leave behind before they left that wouldn't take more than a few seconds.
Chambersite made it over easily, which made him wonder if he could have done it before even with the wind. Still, it seemed that their investigation was over according to Faustite. He grunted when he heard the command and frowned, wondering just how much they were supposed to find out in what little time they had. Were they supposed to be exploring this place or not?!
He was determined to give this side a good look over before they left however. He didn't want to leave anything obvious behind.
