Ivy_tsuki lol yeah for some reason people don't like nudity, personally I do. I think even heavier people's bodies are beautiful. there were pictures painted a while ago of really, well lets say plump, women, and I love them. They are some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I hate what the meida has made what women and men are supposed to look like in to. And I know some times I am still self concious but I just tell myself, big is beautiful too! I agree, when I see others around me their weight just does not matter. I see so much beauty in everyone and I dislike how much people feel they always need to lose weight. I have felt really bad because for some unknown reason to me I seem to have started to care. It just hit me one day and I, at times, seem to obsese about it. I just would love it if we could all be content with differencesm but that will never be. These years the style seems to be to weigh 90 pound, a few years ago it was more. I am sure it will change again in the future because everything just changes like that. I think I have steered away from the point. xp

I really do not understand why everyone seems to want us to care so much besides the companies that are trying to persuade people to buy their product.

In the privacy of a enclosed area with other people I would do skyclad but for decency outdoors I would wear my robes, just nothing beneath them. (I need to make my robes.)

I believe there is nothing to be ashamed of. I perform skyclad when working solitary. As my grove; we are all really close and extremely comfertable around one another. All like brothers and sisters and we feel that we have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. When inside we usually have to wear some sort of clothing if there are parental units in the house. But when out in the woods after sunset, because it is located right in my fellow coveners backyard we have no problem building a fire and working skyclad. Though certain oportunities have forbid us from working, we have been able to pull it off a couple times. But I think it is perfectly natural. You should never feel ashamed or uncomfertable in your own skin. ^_^ but then again I'm like an uber hippie so I believe natural is beautiful!

I think those skinny stick figures ((no offense to anyone here)) are sickening. I just want to run up and peg them with a sandwhich. I'm very proud of who I am and what I look like. Even if it's not the stereotypical media's portrayal of beauty. Hell if I wasn't so against the media I would model for Lane Bryant. ((I've had offers but declined)) Everyone should be proud of their bodies because beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I think men should always have a some meat on their bones, and I find thicker women gorgeous. I really dont' understand why everyone obsesses so much about their weight! Bottomline, everyone is beautiful in their own way. And for me, the more natural you are the more beautiful you are! ((but then again, I'm kind of an uber hippie in r/l sweatdrop ))

What's wrong with being naked? Nothing, though I haven't done it...I would if I lived alone without my family, who happen to not like wicca...I have stretch marks on my legs cause lol, I (going to be this in parents quotes) "Grew like a bean stalk after a good rain storm and some sunshine" xD, but for now, I am working on getting my robe and all my altar things finished(Yes, I know, 9 years of studying wicca and practicing I should have my stuff, but when you start at 9, you can't really do much...then I turned 18 and still get forbidden to go to the wiccan shop, my parents work all week so I like to go then, when I feel like it. So, I might even go to the Secondhand stores)

((but then again, I'm kind of an uber hippie in r/l sweatdrop ))Hahaha, ok, you're one of my new favourite people razz I think pretty much the same way. I mean, as long as the person's body is at a healthy weight, so they don't have any health problems or anything, I think they're perfectly fine. If it was up to me, everyone would run around completely naked! Why? Because it's natural, and easier, it saves you money on clothes, and it's FUN!! And like Ivy was saying, if you go to like a museum or something, there are these women from the Rennisance (sp) period that were "plump" compared to today's women, but good Goddess, they are absolutely gorgeous! Even back in the 1950s, the models were like size 10, and now that's considered overweight rolleyes I am about 5'6" and 140 lbs, and I very often feel like I have to lose weight. But the logical part of my brain just says that's completely insane! I very much agree with Naomi, those models who're like 5'7" and 100 lbs deserved to be pegged with a sandwich. It's no mystery why people are getting eating disorders stare

Honestly, I never tried it naked, though, I'm sure my mum appreciates me being clothed while I do my rituals.
I am perfectly comfortable being naked, I don't mind it at all, except that it is sometimes much colder. However, I find that the thought of doing a ritual skyclad simply seems unappealing as I believe that it would not put me in the best possible mood. I find that robes/clothing allow my mind to focus better on what I am doing.

I work Skyclad when I am doing rituals by myself. However, If I am with my Coven Orenda or working with my family I work with clothes or robes [Just robes nothing else] I don't really mind either way but with my coven my girlfriend would never go skyclad plus we work in a public park, even though our site is hidden and somewhat charmed Id still feel really bad if a 3 year old ran up to us and we were dancing nude.

*gets pelted with sandwiches* Ack!!
sweatdrop I rarely go skyclad, for a seeming opposite reason from others who refrain from it. I'm pretty thin; 5'5" and about 100 pounds. And, as a lot of my friends (I tend to hang out with an "artsy" group) are fairly anti-media... Well, let's just say that most of my friends are in favor of curvier folksies, and while I do agree, it's harder for me as I am NOT one of the curvier women. My self-esteem is pretty shot and has caused me much grief, therefore I'm not comfortable performing skyclad on most occasions. *shrug*

We're talking about the freaky girls who don't eat. The unhealthy skinny girls xp But as long as you're eating healthy and aren't trying to be one of those skinny ninny models, I wuv u and totally think you should be fine with your body 3nodding The Goddess loves all kinds
