The Steel-type didn't stand a chance against the weather-boosted Flamethrower. "So it's my fault you lashed out at your own Pokémon!?" Merrimack shot back as he recalled Executioner. "Just like everything else, right!? I guess it's just as well I ditched you, 'cause clearly you never could've become Kalos Queen with me dragging you down!" Still seething he pulled out the Heal Ball. "Judge, use Dig!" He called out. "Of course you can't control your Pokémon, you can't even control yourself!" He added as once again billowing clouds of black smoke poured out from the seals covering the ball capsule. However, this time when the smoke cleared, Steelix was nowhere in sight, only a gaping hole in the ground. But then, what right do I have to talk about self control?

"No, it wasn't your fault and I'll admit that I lost my temper then. Oh? You are the one who really lacks the self control out the two of us! " Selene said back to him, glad that they were out here where there were no other people around to see or hear this fight... Her public relations manager would be having a fit right now if she saw this. She took a couple of deep breaths in order to try to calm herself down. "To think that I wanted your support all that time, hoping to spot you in the crowd... It was all for naught. I guess those single purple hibiscus flowers that I would receive without a note weren't from you..."She said with a sad look on her face before she winch slightly due to the pain, both emotional and physical.'If it wasn't Sly who sent me those single purple hibiscus flowers at those competitions, then who did?' She wondered to herself as she was watching for Judge to reappear.
"Watch out Seraphina! You know how Dig works so try to dodge it if you can." Even though she had a feeling that Judge will take Seraphina out for this battle. It was hard to dodge a Dig unless your pokemon was a flying type and Seraphina wasn't. Selene was already taking her mega stone glove for Cœur D'or out when Judge did reappear and took out Seraphina. "Thank you for helping me. I am sorry that I cursed at you." She said to her Braixen before having her return to her Heal Ball.
"Come on out Cœur D'or! Let's take advantage of Sunny Day and use Fire Fang on Judge." Selene let out as she slipped on the dove grey mega stone glove that had Mega Steelixs embroidered on in golden thread on her left hand. It had been made by her Grandmama Beaumont while Selene was in Kalos. She had flipped the glove so the stone would be in the palm of her hand instead of on the back of her hand like it would be if she was wearing it on her right hand.

Merrimack didn't answer Selene, remaining silent as Judge erupted from the ground beneath Braixen's feet and knocking her out. If I wanted her to know those flowers were from me, I'd have sent a note with them. I did just tip my hand with that 'Kalos Queen' comment I made, but luckily she didn't seem to catch it. What will she do now? He thought as Selene recalled Seraphina. Judge took interest in the appearance of another Steelix, eager to see how strong Selene's new partner was - and to show her how strong he'd become. Merrimack smirked as Selene called for Fire Fang, especially noticing the Mega Glove she was slipping on. "Let me show you how it's done!" He called out, reaching for his Mega Earring. "Judge, Mega Evolve!" The Mega Energy surrounded Judge, changing his form so when Cœur D'or's Fire Fang hit, it was met with thick armor. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Merrimack commanded. Judge turned quickly, striking Cœur D'or hard with his tail.

'A Mega Stone earring??? I wished I thought of that than the glove. Yet Grandmama already had the glove already made for me before I found the Steelixite stone for Cœur D'or.' "Nice earring, but I like the glove that Grandmama Beaumont made me more so." Selene complimented before having Cœur D'or mega evolve. "Time to show them what we got Cœur D'or Mega evolve now! "She said as Judge was coming at them,already mega evolved with Iron Tail. Selene held up her left hand up aiming it towards Cœur D'or as she evolved into Mega Steelix before Judge's Iron Tail hit Cœur D'or. 'If he had watched me in the contests any, he might remember that I usually wear my mega glove on my right hand, not my left. I hope he doesn't catches on that...' She thought to herself as the pain from her right wrist started up again.
" Hang in there Cœur D'or. Now use Fire Fang again against Judge." Selene said after Cœur D'or had taken some damage from the Iron Tail but not enough to take her out yet. 'Thinking of using Atrract next since I do know that these two Steelixes are opposite genders. Sly will not approved of using that move but whatever works though...' Selene thought to herself as she brought her left hand back down that the evolution was over.

"Since we're doing repeat performances: Judge, Iron Tail!" Merrimack ordered. Judge obliged, catching Cœur D'or's Fire Fang with his tail. "Now, follow it up with Body Press!" Merrimack instructed. Judge still felt the pain of Cœur D'or's blazing teeth sinking into him, but from this position his Body Press would be devastating - unless the other Steelix did something truly unexpected to disrupt him.

Kɑɧiɑʋ Aɗélɑɾɗ Beɑʋɱσɳt
Kahiau Adélard Beaumont had been at the Ruins of Hope and had just left there. He didn't see Tapu Fini there this morning but he didn't expect the Tapu to be there every time he went there.'The Tapus have their own ways and things to deal with. Right now, I hope that Selene is having a great start to the day.'He thought to himself, not knowing that she was having a nightmare of a morning right now with Sly.
He began his way to the Seafolk Village by walking along Poni Breaker Coast. Kahiau wasn't in a major rush to get to there so he was amiring the nature of Poni Island along the way. Then he got on the path that lead past his house along the Ancient Poni Path. In a way, he was glad that Selene was living in a secluded spot that most people wouldn't be able to get to since she was a celebrity of sorts and didn't any creepy fans to know where she lives here in Alola. In the distances, it sounded like some pokemon were having a fight but unless Tapu Fini came to get him to stop it, he wasn't going to worry about it.
Kahiau took the path as it lead him into the Poni Wilds that meant he was getting close to the Seakfolk Village. Then he saw a young male with black hair running through with his pokemon.'Looks fresh to the island and I hadn't seen him here on Poni Island before. I better talk to him and let him know what areas are off limits to humans just to be on the safe side... Also he might be a island trail challenger but he does look to be older than usual though..' He thought to himself as he made his way towards the male.
"Aloha and welcome to Poni Island! I'm Kahiau, the Kahuna of Poni Island. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. "Kahiau greeted the teenager with a warm smile. "Are you visiting the island for the first time or are possibly doing the island challenges?" He asked as he would need to know if the teenager was doing asap.
'Damn it, that's not good!' Selene thought after seeing and hearing Sly tell Judge to use Body Press. "Use Attract and then Dig!" Selene said with a slight tremor to her voice as she knew that Body Press would do major damage for Cœur D'or if they didn't distract Judge quickly. Cœur D'or let go of Judge's tail quickly and then used the move Attract. Then Cœur D'or went underground 'That was a close call that I didn't like.' She thought with a slight frown before looking back at Sly to see his reaction to her using Attract on Judge. Next with a major flourish, Cœur D'or came out of the ground and hit Judge that was now infatuated with her.

Dreadnought Sly Merrimack

"What the hax!?" Merrimack exclaimed as the Attract hit Judge." Suddenly, Judge was overcome by the beautiful golden sheen of the female Steelix, stopping his attack cold as he gazed longingly while she slipped underground. "No! Use Dig, go after her!" Merrimack ordered in vain, as Judge sat there, immobilized by love, and helpless as Cœur D'or struck with a super effective Dig. "Snap out of it! Use Iron Tail!" Merrimack called desperately. Judge raised his tail, glowing with Steel-type power and began to make strokes in the ground beneath them. "What are you doing!" Merrimack lamented, "Is that a heart!?Are you drawing!?" Merrimack continued as the tail strokes took form. Judge continued to draw, adding a face in the "heart" and a chain of spiked circles causing it to resemble a Steelix. "What the hax is happening..." Merrimack asked, deadpan as Judge beamed brightly at Cœur D'or.

'Arceus! This is gold! I got to video this for proof later!' Selene thought to herself as she was trying not to laugh too much as she reach for her phone. Then she began recording Sly's reactions and Judge's reactions. She couldn't hold the phone as steady as she would have liked to, due to the chuckling and straight out laughing that she was doing.'This was certainly worth it for this part now. Even the other parts of the day were hell but it was worth it for this part....' She thought as Judge wasn't really paying attention to Sly now.
There was a true smile on Selene's face now and she was happy for the moment. She ended the video and took some pictures of the two Mega Steelixes that were enjoying each other's company. She got a picture of the drawing as well before putting the phone away.' I really don't want to end this but need to before Judge can sober up from the Attract move.'Selene thought as she debated what move to use now. "Cœur D'or, use Fire Fang!" Selene said to Cœur D'or and Cœur D'or did so.

"We need to finish this now! Merrimack called out. "Use Body Press!" Judge's teeth began to crackle with electricity. "What are you doing now!?" Merrimack exclaimed in dismay. "Body Press! Not Thunder Fang!, it won't have any effect!" Judge met Cœur D'or's Fang move with his own, pressing their mouths together. She may not feel the spark of the Thunder Fang, but Judged hoped Cœur D'or would feel the spark of his love. "Was that a KISS!?" Merrimack cried as Judge collapsed from the heat of the Fire Fang with a dopey grin on his face.

Selene pulled her phone back out after telling Cœur D'or to use Fire Fang and it was worth it. She video recorded the 'kiss' that Judge and Cœur D'or shared and watched as Judge fall to the ground.' We won!!!!!!!!! I finally beat Sly!!!!!!!!!!' She thought as Sly was in shock... She made sure to get that in the video too.
"Cœur D'or, you did it!!!!!! You won the battle for us all! She said before turning the video to show herself with Cœur D'or in the background. "Today, my pokemon team beats Sly's team for the first time in my life! This last part of the battle that I recorded was the craziest and hilarious I ever see did see! I wasn't expecting the Attract Move would effect Judge as much as it did." She said in the video before turning it off. Then she took a few pictures of Judge and Sly.
' Can't wait to show this to Estelle and Elio!'Selene thought as Selene went over Sly and got a a few pictures of the two of them. Sly was still out of it a little but she was fine with that though. Something to enjoy later after they parts ways for the final time in a little bit.... Like how Sly wanted it to be, no more contact between them after this. "Great job Golden Heart." Selene said to her as she began to put her phone away. She didn't know that her face was paling in color some but with a slight flush due to the slight fever she was starting have due to the sprain wrist....

Pidgeot was the first to see that someone was approaching, and she had seen him from quite a distance off. She kept her eyes on the man until she confirmed that he was most definitely coming Dan's way. She pulled her wings in and dove toward the ground, pulling up near Jolteon. When he looked at her, she landed near him. "Someone's coming." "Where?" The spiky Pokemon looked around. "Follow me." Pidgeot took flight again but stayed low to the ground, going slow so as to dodge around tree trunks. Jolteon ran after her. Pidgeot alighted behind a bush and ducked down. Jolteon came behind the same bush and crouched. Peeking through the leaves, they could see the man. He had blue hair and a patch over one eye. "Gnarly! I wonder what happened to his eye?" Jolteon asked. "Ssshh, he might hear you." The two Pokemon watched from their hiding place to see what would happen.
Dan saw a man approaching. Lickitung hid behind his trainer, looking out from behind his legs. Dan wondered if trouble was about to happen, but so far the man seemed friendly, and he introduced himself with some funny title that Dan had never heard. "Uhh, hi! What's a Kahuna? And what's the Island Challenge?" That sounded like something exciting. "I'm visiting for the first time," he confirmed.
Location: Poni Wilds Wearing/Possessions: Dark blue shirt, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white trim, small black pouch of supplies.

Merrimack didn't know how to feel, he couldn't believe what just happened. He knew Attract could immobilize a Pokémon, but there was no explanation for what he just saw. Now Selene was declaring herself the winner, she didn't know Merrimack still had another Pokémon - Shadow Aggron. There is no point. If I use that Pokémon on her now, then...everything was for nothing. He thought as Selene started taking pictures. PICTURES!? It sunk in as she walked right up to him and snapped a selfie. "HEY! DON'T TAKE PICTURES OF ME!" He reached out and grabbed her right wrist to pull her to him.

Selene had gotten her phone into her Ranger back pack and deep in it before hearing Sly's reaction. She turned around to face him to speak. "Let me have it Sylvester, I'm not going to posting online or anything. Since once we do part ways, you'll be dead to me. Just like you wanted it to be.... " She commented before seeing him reach for her right wrist. Her eyes widen slightly as she tried to put her right wrist out of his reach. But it was too late...
"AAAAHHHHHHHH! Let go of me Sly!!!!! You're hurting me!" She said as fresh pain seared through her wrist after he grabbed it .'He's going to be the death of me, if I'm not careful.' Selene thought herself, and not for the first time either.... "Please, just let go of my wrist...." Selene said softly to him, not knowing that her whole face was pale in color but with a slight flush due to the slight fever she was starting have due to the sprain wrist.... Selene thought about pulling away but didn't as it might make it worse. She didn't realized that he had drawn her in closer to him when grabbed her wrist as a few tears began to fall from her eyes due to the pain.
Both Po and Cœur D'or turned their attention back to Selene after hearing her scream out in pain. Cœur D'or was already back to her regular Steelix size now and had been studying both Judge and the picture before the scream and Po had been talking to that other Pancham. They both came up to either side of her with Po on the right and Cœur D'or on the left.
