Day: 46 Theme: Love Comments: i've been liking the look of limited color palette Posca pen artwork lately. I barely limited this palette sooo this didn't emulate that, but it's got me on a kick of liking flat art with zero shading/lighting. Basically, opposite of my norm.

Comments: I recently drew a similar image (not for 100 day). I love that image. When I finished the other one, I immediately wished that it were a seamless pattern. I know this drawing lacks appeal compared to my first one. The two pot sizes, non-uniform locations and cut off edges are a large part of why it was successful. I wanted to replicate it and not make the pattern so uniform. However, I use Procreate and it doesn't have a dedicated seamless pattern mode so mathing out the locations is.. difficult. I'm used to making patterns with objects that overlap or can be any size so I can make it up as I go. I will try again in the future when I have more time to sit and play with it This was necessary practice. It looks simple, but I had to jerry rig those shadows. Plus, I now have pots to use when I attempt to randomize it. Everything was drawn from scratch, even tho it resembles the other one
I did look for a previous prompt to use for today's themes. I didn't find one that I wanted to do. Sure, I could've easily drawn whatever prompt... but I would've felt like I was wasting my time drawing useless art that I won’t even show people cuz I’d have to explain why I drew weird s**t. Sure, I draw weird s**t sometimes but it’s at least on brand. XD I also hoard my art and won’t delete finished pieces so then they just haunt me Skimming the prompts made me realize that I felt like drawing plants. I’ve drawn most of the flower prompts that would have fit, so I went off theme. Actually, I wanted to draw cactuses/succulents but decided it was best to match the last plants this time. I’ll eventually do succulents too once I figure out how to guesstimate the needed placements.

Day: 53 Theme: Yarrow Comments: Wanted to keep it simple like some fabric patterns I've seen. I know I've gotta add at least one more flower to fill some space and change the background color. But hey, at least it got turned in. XD;
Day: 54 Theme: St Patrick’s Day Comments: Made up a beverage for the holiday. Nonalcoholic or not, your choice This was my last day of drawing two art pieces daily. I'll probably keep it up. I was having fun. ...But for this week, I'm gonna apply that little bit of extra time to my other projects

Day: 55 Theme: Previous theme: Gemini (Day 15) Comments: I wanted to mirror something for Gemini. That idea turned into using mirror mode to draw two avocado halves. It's still sorta gemini. <.< >.> It ended up taking about 20 mins even tho most of it is mirrored. I experimented with colors so it got a lot of layers This is my first free time in a while and I'm using it to add format to my posts in this thread. XD Feels great. (Nothing from Day 38 and on was formatted) Unformatted posts are iPad posts. While I can format my posts from the iPad, I don’t wanna XD

Comments: added an edited version on 3/24/22 —— .. Well, I set out with the idea of a limited color palette but then still added a bunch of color. I also went overboard with the little hair marks. Didn't pay attention. Oh well, it's fine. Practice, right? I should have limited my colors from the start and gone in with a game plan. idk how to fix my mark problem. XD; I'll just have to try to stay diligent
