The referee would be watching in closely as Matt would still be in the hold. He would then switch hands, trying to break Bobby Roode's grasp slowly but eventually, surely...the fans would continue to chant!

For now, Bobby kept the rear chin lock applied but could sense that Matt was getting energy and Roode tries to keep it in longer.

Roode would stand up as well, but attempts to turn Matt around and knee him in the midsection before he fully escaped.

Roode runs to the ropes, coming back with speed attempting a hard clothesline to Matt afterward.

Matt would look to duck under the clothesline, and run to the opposite pair of ropes!

Roode missed wildly, stopping himself as he was running pretty fast, and turns back towards where Matt ran towards.

Bouncing off the ropes after Bobby Roode turned around, Matt would look for a flying forearm smash to the head, shades of Shawn Michaels!

Roode falls flat on his back after the diving forearm and he rolls over and gets back to his feet fairly quickly but was reeling.

scrambling to his feet as fast as he could to match up with Bobby Roode's speed, Matt would then grapple Roode and looked to deliver standing neckbreaker!

Roode was hit with the neckbreaker and this time stays down after going down to the mat.

Using the time with both men on the canvas, Matt Gennison would lay there for a few moments breathing as he would try to get his head into this. It was for the CWF World Heavyweight Championship and this was his ticket back to the top.

Making sure he got to his feet before Bobby Roode did, Matt would measure the champion, as he would wait for him to rise up to his feet.
